“We had a party of 10 for a birthday celebration for our 19 year old grandson and granddaughter. First of all, it was raining and we were pleasantly surprised they had complimentary valet service. The restaurant decor was beautiful and it added to the celebration. The choices of sides to go with the steak we ordered were very good and serving a complimentary salad with the steak was appreciated. Our server Matthew and the assistant Michele were exceptional and made the celebration very special. We will go here again.”

“Looked online to find an authentic French baguette. Sent my husband on a 20 minute drive to buy a loaf. The lady on the phone said that their baker had learned to make the baguettes in France so they were indeed authentic. Husband returned with a $5.00 loaf and when I cut into the very small loaf, it looked like a whole grain piece of bread fom Kroger or Fresh Market. It did not taste like a French loaf nor did it have the texture of a French baguette. So disappointed in the whole experience and will definitely not return for bread!”

I had the pulled pork sandwich. The pork was very tender and delicious. The sweet BBQ sauce went great with the meat and had a good flavor. We left fully satisfied and was happy we chose Rackz BBQ.”

Although a little bit of a drive, this location is well worth the service you will receive. We have now moved our business to them and will use them only for all future orders and company orders. We will miss them for a couple of months; they will be closed for winter, but we can always buy a couple of gallons to get us through...LOL If you get a chance and are in the Carmel area, stop by and see what I mean when I say, "Rita's Carmel location is all about CUSTOMER SERVICE done right."”

Really kinda not our problem at that time. We were 30+ strong. Kids and all. I walked out at 715. Doesn’t seem right. Not mad but a concern with staff and communication. Food good, service ok, slow at times , restaurant was not totally full. I could see open tables. Yes I would come back, but come on. The manager should have known of the situation and made a plan B the weather was in the 70’s they could have used the courtyard. Ok sorry done.”

“Traveling from Michigan and came across Upland Brewing. Stopped in for a beer and a quick snack. The Juiced in Time Haze IPA and Two of Tarts sour were both amazing. The staff were great! And the food was tasty, we will definitely be back and highly recommend if you’re in the area.”

“I have been to this location a few times and the food has been great every time. The service is a little hit or miss depending on the day. It gets really busy on Sunday’s, but if you beat the church rush it’s normally fine! The omelets and mimosas are favorites!”

“Been wanting to try Hotboys for a while now and it did not disappoint. I ordered the guap fries (without the chives) and they were very good. However not sure I would get them again because they left me wanting for more of the amazing chicken which is the real star of the show. I ran out of bites of chicken way before the fries. The cheese and money sauce were both amazing, fries could’ve been a little more done. The money sauce reminded me of Jaggers sauce from Jaggers, which I also love. The chicken seasoning and crispness were great. I went with a mild + level of heat but next time I’ll definitely increase to medium or medium +. My bf got the Sando chicken sandwich medium heat and he really enjoyed his as well. Will definitely return to try a chicken tender meal and that breakfast burrito looks pretty good too. ? also liked the vibe inside and ease of parking at this location. Bathrooms were also nice. Service was excellent and very friendly/ welcoming.”

“Can’t say enough about how good the cooking is at this restaurant! I really enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits risotto! And the Pork special was absolutely wonderful. It came with collard greens and a southern style gravy that I don’t know could be so good! Don’t forget to try their wedge salad. It’s a winner. Overall I’m super happy to have this restaurant in Carmel.”

“I eat at the blaze a lot when I’m in town probably too much. Quality and choices to build your own pizza at the price point is great service is usually quick and friendly unless they are slammed during lunch on the weekday. Prepare to wait 30 minutes with all the online and go orders as well as the walk-ins.

My only complaint is that the Caprese side salad was a fraction barely enough to pick up with a fork. Which is OK I guess if you got a little bit of pizza to go with it

I tried ELK for the first time and the marshmallow sauce with the sweet potato waffle fries were SPOT ON, delicious!!! An experience I’ll never forget! Also the cappuccino is very good, hot enough and a delicious coffee.

“It’s exactly the way I’ve always dreamed of a local place. Traci, the owner, comes by and recommends a drink. She tells you the story of the musician that is playing tonight. Her husband, Brian, is behind the bar and pouring himself another wine. He doesn’t want to chat like Traci does, but he is fussing over the food menu. Making sure it is perfect. Helping the musician make sure the sound is right. People keep bustling in and out from the neighborhood. You recognize them, clasp their hand and act like you remember their name. You will get it next time. The musician is amazing. This time it’s a guy with an epic mustache, a keyboard and he has 1032 songs that he can sing. Last time you came it was a woman with a guitar with an amazing voice. Before that it was a jazz duo with a saxophone. They are playing your requests between original songs. You can’t believe this place is real. It’s like you’ve always imagined. Like you always wanted. The food is good. The bartenders are friendly and know their craft. Your friends show up and Traci asks the people next to you at the bar if they can move over one seat to let them sit next to you. They join in the conversation and you recognize them the next time you come in. It’s simply amazing. Live music every Friday and Saturday and other days for events. Love this place. Can’t recommend it enough.”

They maximize seating space with booths, bar tops, and bar seating, plus a nice covered patio in the back which is a great perk. “I go to the Kroger deli for lunch at least 1 time per week. I usually get the Tenders meal. You get 2 giant tenders, and choice of 2 sides and a roll or biscuit. I had mashed potatoes and green beans as my sides. Today I realized I never reviewed one of the best lunch spots in the downtown Carmel area. For $5 you get this really big meal that in most cases is too large to finish. Great quality on the chicken and the sides. They also have pizza and burgers, ribs, brisket, and a slew of other things. In addition to the good food, the employees in the deli are always friendly and the place is clean. I usually take the lunch back to my office, but they also have an eating area that is once again open after the Covid-19 mess. It is also quick. In and Out. There's a separate entrance to the Deli area so you can park and go straight to the deli. There's also a self checkout near the deli entrance/exit so you do not have to get into line in the regular part of the store. Highly recommend!!”
