“We had a party of 10 for a birthday celebration for our 19 year old grandson and granddaughter. First of all, it was raining and we were pleasantly surprised they had complimentary valet service. The restaurant decor was beautiful and it added to the celebration. The choices of sides to go with the steak we ordered were very good and serving a complimentary salad with the steak was appreciated. Our server Matthew and the assistant Michele were exceptional and made the celebration very special. We will go here again.”

The seating tables are nicely spaced out. Not over crowded. Our server Oloft ( forgot how to spell his name ) was SPECTACULAR! The menu is very well laid out and the portions are not disappointing! The staff is very friendly and quick to serve & pre bus the table. Our drinks were delicious AND the dessert drinks you have to try! ALL, the food was fresh and just simply delicious. We will visit here again and not just for special occasions! Thank you for a memorable dining experience! Definitely better than Prime 47, better than H! We still love Nylas in Westfield and the Salt in Carmel. Parking was definitely better at Anthony's! See you again soon!”

“I've been wanting to go here for awhile! on an early Saturday afternoon, we finally went. everyone was very pleasant and patient with our family (toddler and infant.) although we didn't have to use the changing table in the bathroom, it was appreciated that they had one. the service was prompt and the food was absolutely delicious. we had the pulled pork sandwich, salmon salad, and kids Mac and cheese with beans/rice. no complaints! our waitress Sue was fantastic. we will be back!”

“Visited Sun King Carmel on a Sunday early evening. First visit at the ‘food court’ so a bit wandering and chaotic. There should be a court monitor stationed at a desk 1st floor middle of seating area right outside fenced area entrance from food court to access Sun King mostly to screen / prevent minors from entering the restricted area but didn’t know you could sit at a table in the general seating food court area and a Sun King server would visit to take your order as I just walked up to the Sun King bar counter and ordered myself unwittingly. Problem would be is likely a bit of a wait if I hadn’t self-ordered as it took about 10-15 minutes after I was seated for a server to check on my status after I sat at a table. But, the tab runs and the bartender tracks/forwards your order to the server and they finally track you down ultimately to pay the bill before you depart.

In the meantime, can partake the food court vendors for specialty cuisines yourself. Order and pick up food yourself and take to your table. If you can find a clean table top, as even though the food court wasn’t bysy, the tables weren’t all clean.

So Sun King has a limited variety on tap. The Osiris Pale Ale is mild not bitter so good and drinkable. But the Orange Vanilla Cream Ale is flavored similar to children’s orange aspirin icky I would not order it again.

Counter bar tender accommodating and server polite and courteous. Did check on me frequently after finding me seated.

Anyways if your first visit might be confusing the order delivery seating process. But go get it yourself or sit at a table and wait a bit and hope a server tends to you in a reasonable amount of time.”

The lady on the phone said that their baker had learned to make the baguettes in France so they were indeed authentic. Husband returned with a $5.00 loaf and when I cut into the very small loaf, it looked like a whole grain piece of bread fom Kroger or Fresh Market. It did not taste like a French loaf nor did it have the texture of a French baguette. So disappointed in the whole experience and will definitely not return for bread!”

“This is absolutely one of my most favorite places to get an amazing meal. First of all they all are perfectly decorated inside. It’s a fun environment with great music playing. I pretty much stick with the full plate of Drunken Chicken and of course EXTRA bread (the bread is the best and you must order more!). You can get a plate with 2 dishes if you want to try more than one yummy dish or you can I have a full plate of the one you love the most! I have had pretty much every thing on their menu and they are all phenomenal. I love having a place to get real Cajun food.”

“I purchased cakes from classic cakes for many many many years when my children were smaller and then into adulthood for birthdays, graduations, and other events. The cakes were always delicious and beautiful however, there is one designer that does not listen to what you ask for. When you tell her, the team colors are red, she made the cake green. When I told her I needed a sculpture of a specific dog and even sent a picture she made it anything but that dog. I realize that a certain amount of artistic license goes into this, but there were at least 10 times when the cakes were not what was ordered, and I didn’t say anything because I needed to pick them up and take them to the event the day that I picked them up and what do you do when the cake is wrong and you need it that day? Everybody said the cakes tasted good so we were fine, but it is disappointing to not get what you ordered.”

“Traveling from Michigan and came across Upland Brewing. Stopped in for a beer and a quick snack. The Juiced in Time Haze IPA and Two of Tarts sour were both amazing. The staff were great! And the food was tasty, we will definitely be back and highly recommend if you’re in the area.”

I’m a foodie and there are few restaurants about which I say this!”

“I had a really good experience at Uptown Cafe in Carmel. The grape salad was definitely one of my favorites—it was creamy, sweet, and had a nice crunch from the pecans. The breakfast burrito was also really good. I ordered mine with turkey and mushrooms, and the combination was flavorful and filling. The pancakes were not bad either—pretty classic and a good choice if you’re looking for something simple.

I also think you really can’t go wrong with their traditional breakfast. Sometimes a classic breakfast with eggs, meat, potatoes, and toast is exactly what you want, and this place does a good job with it. The portions are satisfying, and everything was presented nicely. Overall, it’s a solid breakfast spot with a good variety of choices, especially if you’re looking for something beyond the typical breakfast menu. I’d definitely come back and try more dishes next time.”

“Talk about the best snow cones I've ever had! I visited today with my boyfriend for the first time and we just loved it. The kids working, Grace and Evan, were so sweet and professional. They made our experience so nice.

The snow cones were wonderful. They're light and fluffy with lots of flavor and they're so pretty. I had the Buttered Beer and the Unicorn Princess, and my boyfriend had the Polynesian (forgot the other part), they were delicious. See you soon!”

“I am a very picky diner when it comes to Asian food. This place is outstanding! Very reasonably priced meals and beautifully cooked; never greesy or oily. I have never had an over cooked meal here. Now I only ever get Chinese food here so I cannot speak to the fusion or Japanese food. But my 'test' is wonton soup. Most places it is rubbery, tasteless. Here it is made to perfection, even better than nearby Tian Fu which is generally a bit more upscale. This is where I go on my own to get in a meal when my family is out of town. Great service too, especially when you realize it is being done by one person. I tip my hat off to this restaurant. Highly recommended.”

Although a little bit of a drive, this location is well worth the service you will receive. We have now moved our business to them and will use them only for all future orders and company orders. We will miss them for a couple of months; they will be closed for winter, but we can always buy a couple of gallons to get us through...LOL If you get a chance and are in the Carmel area, stop by and see what I mean when I say, "Rita's Carmel location is all about CUSTOMER SERVICE done right."”

“Can’t say enough about how good the cooking is at this restaurant! I really enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits risotto! And the Pork special was absolutely wonderful. It came with collard greens and a southern style gravy that I don’t know could be so good! Don’t forget to try their wedge salad. It’s a winner. “Came in with a group, we had the upstairs room then told we had to be gone by 7pm We reserved the room at 515. So with that said, servers ok. Food came at 645. Manager told the group that we need to be out by then. 7pm because it was reserved for another group at 7. He told us that the staff didn’t inform him about it. Really kinda not our problem at that time. We were 30+ strong. Kids and all. I walked out at 715. Doesn’t seem right. Not mad but a concern with staff and communication. Food good, service ok, slow at times , restaurant was not totally full. I could see open tables. Yes I would come back, but come on. The manager should have known of the situation and made a plan B the weather was in the 70’s they could have used the courtyard. Ok sorry done.”

“We order from this Olive Garden pretty often and have always had a good experience. Last night was the first time our food just wasn’t quite up to the quality we’re used to. I called and spoke with the manager, Sandra, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was so kind, understanding, and immediately made it right for us with no hassle at all.

Things aren’t always going to be perfect, especially at a busy restaurant, but I think how a business handles an issue says a lot. Sandra handled everything perfectly and made sure we were taken care of. We will definitely continue ordering from this location. Thank you, Sandra, for being so kind and making a not-so-great experience into a positive one!”

The pizza was fresh and well-prepared, with a pleasant crust and a satisfactory selection of toppings from which one might choose according to his preference. I found the ability to have the pizza prepared to my own liking particularly convenient.

The staff were courteous and conducted themselves with proper manners, and I was not kept waiting for an unreasonable length of time. The establishment itself was pleasant enough, and the meal was served in good order. I found neither the food nor the service wanting in any significant regard.

All in all, my visit to Blaze Pizza was a most satisfactory affair. The meal was enjoyable, the service was respectable, and the price seemed fair for what was provided. Should I find myself in need of a meal of this nature again, I would have little hesitation in returning. Five stars are well deserved.”

“It’s exactly the way I’ve always dreamed of a local place. Traci, the owner, comes by and recommends a drink. She tells you the story of the musician that is playing tonight. Her husband, Brian, is behind the bar and pouring himself another wine. He doesn’t want to chat like Traci does, but he is fussing over the food menu. Making sure it is perfect. Helping the musician make sure the sound is right. People keep bustling in and out from the neighborhood. You recognize them, clasp their hand and act like you remember their name. You will get it next time. The musician is amazing. This time it’s a guy with an epic mustache, a keyboard and he has 1032 songs that he can sing. Last time you came it was a woman with a guitar with an amazing voice. Before that it was a jazz duo with a saxophone. They are playing your requests between original songs. You can’t believe this place is real. It’s like you’ve always imagined. Like you always wanted. The food is good. The bartenders are friendly and know their craft. Your friends show up and Traci asks the people next to you at the bar if they can move over one seat to let them sit next to you. They join in the conversation and you recognize them the next time you come in. It’s simply amazing. Live music every Friday and Saturday and other days for events. Love this place. Can’t recommend it enough.”

I live downtown Indianapolis but make it a point to visit every time I’m in Carmel. Please trust me on this because I am from Los Angeles and I love Community Goods and this is the most comparable to the matcha lattes I’ve had in LA AND Miami. The Tiramisu Matcha Latte was so so good! I also tried strawberry and it was delicious. 🍓 🍵”

“What a perfect evening at 1933 Lounge in Carmel for our anniversary! Vanessa was our server and an absolute delight! Professional but very friendly and personable. Extremely attentive! The tuna poke on the seafood tower was INCREDIBLE! It brought us back to our honeymoon in Hawaii :) It was so good we asked for another side of just that. Should be it's own appetizer ❤️ The artichokes were SO good! Sad to hear it's coming off the menu. The Heirloom tomato and buratta salad was out of this world - truly next level dish. Originally from New England I appreciated the lobster bisque so much. I'd put it up against a New England lobster bisque any time - multiple actual chunks of lobster 🤤 And the bourbon and butter dessert was in a class by itself - it was rich but light at the same time... different textures, salty and sweet, cold and warm - just an excellent dessert - Vanessa knew what she was doing in recommending it! I wish I had gotten more pictures- we just started digging in as dishes arrived! My only criticism I can offer were the oysters were very gritty :( Couldn't eat them all and the seafood tower was so esthetically pleasing but the lobster tail was just unceremoniously placed on the ice lol Tasty! Just not placed in an elegant way like the rest. Would highly recommend - we're definitely returning (and asking for Vanessa 💗)”

“What an incredible and wonderful place! Wow! We happened upon it walking in Village of West Clay. It was a very serendipitous discovery and was a goldmine! Q bar is beautiful inside and has outdoor too- the server Sara was beyond kind, friendly and knowledgeable- she is also a vocalist and is do talented to be in musicals plus do such an awesome job helping customers in the Q bar! The conception and machines were phenomenal - such choices! And it's fun too, the food is exquisite. The power bowl with added chicken or without- we had one of each- is truly gorgeous as a dish and extremely flavorful and healthy too! We were able to talk with the owner Quynh Nguyen is extremely kind and so knowledgeable and so friendly too- she has created a place to be extremely proud of - as it's fabulous in every way. We were so impressed with the food, wine, atmosphere as well as Sara and Quynh- this place is so unique plus 5 star incredible!!!”

“So, there isn't much to say about the taste. Its ben and Jerry's, you know what to expect. That being said, the physical location compared to super market pints offers toppings and a variety of various forms of ice scream like shakes and such that its a fun experience. But the price is what kills this place. For the cost, you could oractocally just go to the grocery store and buy the toppings you want and still gain more than you would in person here at the location. (This the star review).

Comparative to the more local ice scream shops, this place is really just a name with the ice cream readily available.

“We were hungry and it was a long day so we stopped here because it was easy. I was shocked. The food was delicious we had burgers and a ribeye sandwich. I have zero complaints. Quality beef. Flavorful. And for the price it was even more amazing. We will come back for sure. It’s also a great grocery store if you haven’t been.”
