“Came here at the recommendation of a good friend was definitely not disappointed. Its a smaller establishment so that was tough to deal with as far as anxiety goes, but we didnt have to wair long to be seated! Dexter aka Spicy White Tuna Roll was our server and he was efficient, friendly, and hilarious! I tried the Dragon Egg (what a masterpiece!) as well as the Autumn Lemon Roll (I LOVE lemon and was quite pleased). You get what you pay for here but it was an awesome sushi time!”

“Hi I just want to say thank you for your outdoor mats and dog bowl water and treats! I've been an occasional customer and have never been disappointed with your drinks or service! But I specifically want to mention, I have become accustomed to lots of water bowls downtown especially during the recent heat wave but I realized on an early walk that none are there in the morning before the restaurants open for lunch! I knew I could count on you guys for my pup!”

“I love this place. I stopped in one day with my husband and was pleasantly surprised. It's a cute older building but everyone was so nice and the food was good. It felt like the old breakfast diners in the 1970's and 80's. If you want to get away from the aggressions of today's society stop in at Peggy Sues diner.”

From their fresh ingredients they use, to the surprising new treats they make. It makes going in an exciting experience wondering "what are they going to have today" And fresh sourdough... We ordered a SpongeBob cake for my daughter's birthday. we saw one on tiktok, she was able to duplicate the cake in every detail possible. 5 stars definitely! “Been eating here for years and recommending them for years if you want the best burger in Chesteron/Porter area. Some other favorites are the bacon wrapped poppers, steak or chicken flatbread, soups, and the only place I know that still has homemade pub chips. Just had my first ever minor issue with a cook on burgers and the owner addressed it and made it right. I am looking forward to their new bi-weekly specials to try some new items. Gastro 49 customers for life.”

They are the only Good Morning for the over worked single mom. I know it may sound silly to most but when you are lonely and depressed you learn to appreciate the little things. “I've been eating here since the beginning. The food is the best everytime. My wife and I brought her parents from Milwaukee here. Now whenever they come to visit they always ask if we can go to Tao Chens for lunch! Great food friendly staff .”

“I order from Domino’s in Chesterton 2-3 times a week. My order is always accurate, hot, made fast and really good! And it’s delivered right to my car by Wes, the general manager. He always puts a smile on my face, super nice guy.”

“Stopped while heading back from vacation after getting thru Chicago. The girls working were all super friendly and pleasant. The restaurant looks pretty new. The half pound roast beef and curly fries were just about perfect. Looked just like the menu pictures. Roast on the sandwich was cooked and sliced just right, bun nice and soft. Curlies fresh and just the right amount of crunch. The owner should give the girls working Wednesday lunch a bonus.
