“The ambience and atmosphere was steampunky and tastefully done, in my opinion. I appreciated the front shop section with the cozy room off to the side, including a couch and fireplace! The Blue Energizer and Keto cookie dough bites were delicious. I can’t wait to come back again!Dietary restrictions: Keto“

Sundae Funday Winfield Ice Cream Shop • $
9281 E 109th Ave, Crown Point

“My family loves Sundae Fundae! The owners are kind and compassionate! The atmosphere is fun, and the treats are unique. They serve Hershey's ice cream, but they also use the ice cream in creative sundaes. We also like to purchase prepackaged pints of ice cream to take home. In the winter time, they offer various hot chocolate treats. We visit this establishment on a regular basis.“

Dairy Belle Ice Cream Shop • $$
1496 N Main St, Crown Point

“I have been going to Dairy Belle for close to 40 years. The location in Hammond on Calumet has been the majority of all experiences. Always great ice cream and service. We moved to Crown Point 3 years ago. It is the only spot I would go to for ice cream. They have a really cute diner look. I tried the pistachio flavor today. I would have rather gone with the family staple of twist with crunch. Always good though!“

For the sweet tooths-M&M waffle on a stick is literally perfection. The owner is also beyond friendly and you can tell that she really loves what she does. From the food to the customer service, you won't be disappointed.“

“Best good old hand maid Dilly Bars in the region!! The absolute best!!!I've tried them all. The only one that even comes close is in Steger, Illinois. I don't know why all the other locations changed to cellophane wrapped, tiny flat dilly bars. But I'm sure glad to have found these! Ahh... childhood memories.“

“Culver's is the best of the fast food establishments I've been to in Chicago land. I was particularly fond of the fried chicken years ago, but that was discontinued. I usually order the fish dinner or a double mushroom burger now. It would be nice if fast food companies would update some of their food to be more healthful. For instance, air fried French fries instead of deep fried, and freeze dried vegetables that would have shelf life of up to 25 years before simply being rehydrated to their original taste and texture. Until fast food companies catch up, Culver's is the best alternative I've found in the fast food industry.“
