“I finally made it during Happy Hour 2-5. For only $2 they offer several delicious reasonably priced items. In today's economy, it is not was to find fun reasonable places to take your family. The Dairy Queen in Dyer makes it easy to give each one of your children $5 and let them pick out a light dinner, and dessert. “I have tried every place that has any kind of Boba in the area and Icy Bar is BY FAR the best. Their tea and flavors are really good and you can customize your drink. They have a huge menu with so many kinds of tea and fun seasonal flavors. They're always quick. This is the only place my friends and I will get Boba.“

“I have been going to Dairy Belle for close to 40 years. The location in Hammond on Calumet has been the majority of all experiences. Always great ice cream and service. We moved to Crown Point 3 years ago. It is the only spot I would go to for ice cream. They have a really cute diner look. I tried the pistachio flavor today. I would have rather gone with the family staple of twist with crunch. Always good though!“
“After many horrible experiences at the Hammond location, this is the one I go to. I'd rather drive a little extra and enjoy my experience, than be served slop. Customer service here is great! They are very attentive to the customer and you get your orser quickly. Ice cream is firm like it shoud be, not melted. I don't know if it's because the Hammond location is so terrible, but this location is fantastic. I hope it stays that way!“

I visited about a month ago and when I walked in although there was a short line and the staff was busy, I was greeted with a smile and told that I'd be helped shortly. The staff was courteous, professional, friendly and fast with service all at the same time. They were all more than willing to answer any questions that I had, prepared the food in a timely fashion and really made my first experience one of the best I have ever had. This is a great place with a variety of treats for children and adults, and I can't wait to go back!“

“I was so excited to try the Munster location as my family went to the original Midlothian/Oak Forest location countless times. I understand it’s a different owner now.Overall enjoyed our experience, the Poseidon was very similar to what I remember, although it needed more meat. My daughter enjoyed her hotdog and ice cream. If open for suggestions, I would recommend bringing chocolate malts to the menu as that was a trademark of the original UE. Also it would be great to see some more tables and chairs that are family friendly. We enjoyed it, but coming from Cedar Lake, would like to see more to be considered a meal destination. Thanks!“

“I normally order hot fudge Sunday. Only one time was my fudge warm. I always ask for extra topping like whipped cream nuts and cherries because if you don't you will be lucky if you get any. The last time I ordered it wasn't hot fudge it was more like Hersey chocolate and there was so little of it I ate 70% of the vanilla ice without it turning chocolate. It is always hit or miss when you go there. All of the girls are very nice bur there are a few that just do not care if they make a good bad or ugly sundae. But weather bad or ugly I still will go back for there awesome whipped cream and cherries and great tasting ice cream. Oh yes and it's the only place around that I know of that makes a knock out Boston Shake.Dietary restrictions: They have dairy free ice cream.Parking: Depends what time you go but they have a very small parking lot but plenty of street parking or a school parking lot across the street for the weekends when the line goes around the building.“
“All of these reviews that refer to the previous location are garbage. The Ramen here is incredible. Comparable to the top ramen shops in chicago, and that speaks volumes being that this is in Northwest Indiana.Definitely get the Gyoza and a Thai Tea.“
