“We were undecided about buffet or sit down dining. The staff allowed us to look at buffet and the menu for sit down as well. Buffet looked good but we chose sit down. I had the creamed chicken over biscuits and mashed potatoes. I ordered the small portion, which was pretty big. The biscuits were delicious and fluffy. The mashed potatoes were great as well. BF had the same but with egg noodles and mashed potatoes. Noodles were great as well. We were served rolls, we only ate the whole wheat and took white with us. BF also had the beets, which were amazing, not acidic, but sweet. Would definitely recommend“

“Definitely a fan fave of the locals that reside around the lakes nearby. Very good service. Robust menu and beer selection. Fried chicken & fish (and Thursday Frog Legs) appear to be the favorites. We know family members from both Elkhart & Edwardsburg that frequent this venue.“

“The lunch specials included a Burrito with rice and beans ($8.75) and a Tostada with rice and beans for $7.50. A Diet Coke was $1.25. Not a lot of atmosphere here but the food was good. It was lunch time, so it took a little longer for the food to be served,“

“Food was decent but typical of what you find at a japanese resturuant. Portion sizes were really good. In fact ordered way too much expecting smaller sizes for the price. When you walk in you can see the kitchen, which they were making large portions of food rather than cooked to order. That has its good and bad sides, but since it was busy didnt seem like much of an issue. Not a big fan of tofu which is used in there miso soup. Unfortunately, the item I got stated no substitutions, so was kinda dissappointed in that. Was jusy passimg thru so probably wont be back, but if back in the area may try again.“

“So, we stumbled upon this little gem and I'm so glad we did. My burger was actually cooked to order and the TOTS. Oh my, delish! My only complaint was there is no signage to tell you about the specials. So we didn't find out about the drink or burger of the month until it was too late. But now I know for next time ?“

“We went here for dinner and honestly when I walked in my expectations were a bit low as the place didn't look very welcoming and the furniture wasn't in great shape. However that quickly changed when I got my food. I ordered the Govenor's Chicken with Fried Rice & an Egg Roll. Everything was very delicious and blew my expectations out of the water. Maybe not a place I would like to sit for several hours to dine in, but the food is definitely top-notch for a Chinese place at its price point and the portions provided. Would definitely return!!“
