“We popped in here to have a late lunch during the week since it's close to our new apartment building and was surprised to find it relatively empty. The inside is super cute, very clean and spacious with lots of outdoor seating as well.

We ordered the guac and chips as well as the elote and chips because we couldn't decide. It was delicious. I literally could have made a meal of just that. Portion sizes were big as well.

For my meal I got a single taco, the mushroom one (I'm a vegetarian) and it just didn't land well for me. The flavor was a bit too herbaceous. I couldn't tell if it was the chimichurri or the seasoning they used on the shrooms that was throwing the flavors off for me, but it wasn't the best.

My husband was in heaven though...he's a carnivore. So if you're a meat eater this would be an amazing place to eat. If you're a vegetarian, you're going to be stuck on the apps side of the menu or getting a boring salad.”

“My wife and I had dinner there to celebrate our 63rd anniversary. She had the steak and shrimp while I had the shrimp duo (grilled and fried shrimp). The only minor complaints were the croutons on the salad were very salty and the shrimp (all of them) were slightly overcooked. (Not unusual in the midwest) Although we told her not to, the manager took them off the bill. Our server, Lorenzo, was very attentive without being intrusive. Overall, a very good evening. The Chandon champagne splits were VERY reasonable.”

Over a dozen choices served as small plates, as well as a selection of deserts. Fantastic juevos rancheros, as well as veggie omelets, pancakes, fresh fruits, salads, pizza, sliders, and more. Great fun to try so many bite-sized dishes!”

The service was prompt and friendly, with nice recommendations toward the menu. The food was great! I had AYCE fish (hake) and it was delicious! The breading was nice and light, so you could actually taste the fish. My hubs had fried chicken and he enjoyed that as well! The best part was the cheese and crackers they brought out with our soup... well definitely come back!”

Angie and Fetch are still awesome. But the highlight of my visit was the server Laura. She was very attentive to my requests, knew the menu like she gave birth to it. She was super awesome. “One of my very favorite restaurants, and the only place I go for sushi. The hardest part is choosing what to get. The spicy sauce in the spicy rolls has a delightful smoky flavor. Cooked and vegetarian rolls for those less adventurous or with dietary restrictions. The avocado in my avocado roll was superb. The spicy salmon and ebiten maki were delicious Fresh, crisp vegetables and flavors that mesh beautifully. Even my very picky son loves this place. We do miss the golden scallops”

She was patient, friendly, and made sure everything was correct without making anyone feel rushed, even while staying busy! 🤩

UPDATE: Not sure whats changed with thier staff when fulfilling orders for pickup but the last 4 times Ive used this service they have forgotten something.
