“Scott is a great owner. He’s a great person. His atmosphere is amazing the people there are amazing the food is great. The prices are cheap and more than affordable you don’t leave hungry if you haven’t been there you need to go there and try it Thursday night they have a great special of chicken Green beans mashed potatoes it’s a great atmosphere. They even have little spin wheels to give out prizes and it’s just a great place to be with your friends. I would highly recommend going to Southfork Scott the owner is a great guy who loves to accommodate people that are there“

“I'm wary about posting this review because sometimes I have to wait for a table or booth, this place is that popular. With a unique menu ranging from Breakfast Soup to stuffed burgers and amazing ribs, the Red Bird Cafe is not your standard issue roadside diner. Trish herself works in the kitchen and also circulates among her customers to make sure everybody's doing alright. Great decor and even a small souvenir/gift shop. Weekends are the busiest. Be sure to check the business hours.“

“My family came in and got the family dinner. It was so good and so much food. There are 5 of us (2 adults, an 11 year old and 2 8 year olds) and we could barely eat half of the food. One of my sons has never liked tamales until he had the red tamal that was included with the dinner. The beans and rice were excellent, as was the pico de gallo and the pork. I think 4 adults would probably have a hard time finishing the whole thing. The price was definitely worth it. The woman who took our order was super nice. I would definitely come back!“

“First time here. Heard a lot about the Smelt here and had to try it. I had smelt when I was younger and what I remember was that it was really good. So I decided to try it here at Treeces. I was very surprised. Their breading is lite. Not heavy and overbearing like other places.Next was the Blue Gill another impressive and tasty fish.Then we tried the Perch which was very good and tasty too.Overall we were very surprised at the different types of seafood offered. Plus they don't just have seafood. There are steaks, tenderloin, fried chicken, etc.Our waitress was very accommodating and helpful and for a Wednesday afternoon there was a good crowd.If you like seafood or not there seems to be something for you.“
