“Absolutely fantastic meals for our entire party of 8️⃣. We all chose different sides to try and boy were each unique and fantastic tasting. Great house salad and French onion and clam chowder soups for starters. My maple old-fashioned was delicious. My son and husband had theirs smoked and loved it. No rush service too made for such a memorable family dining experience. We will definitely be back!”

“Took my mother here on a Monday night for her 60th birthday. We had a group of 5. Hostess was very friendly and sat us promptly. We ordered a total of 3 appetizers(Fried Motz, Bread Sticks, Bruchetta). They were all very good. We enjoyed the following main dishes, shrimp scampi, classic Italian pizza, chicken parm, salmon Piccata, and another who's name escapes me. Everything was very fresh and tasted wonderful......I will say, as an Italian family the only improvement for the main courses would be the addition of bread. I like to mop my gravy and I need something to keep my left hand busy while I eat lol. We finished up with 4 canolis. They were amazing. Over all great experience. Wonderful addition to downtown Muncie.”

“On Valentines Day we went here, made an online reservation. Upon arrival the hostess was a bit snippy and didn't see us having a reservation so we had to go on the list like we hadn't already been on there. After finally being seated in a booth in the bar area we had an awesome waiter, the 2nd best steak and overall food, (2nd only to Sante Fe Steakhouse in Nashville, TN), and a huge piece of cheesecake(about 3 normal pieces) for dessert. The staff seemed to genuinely enjoy what they do and worked as a team. I LOVE that I wasn’t forced to use one of the electronic things on the table. If they are this great when they are this busy, imagine when they have just a normal day!

“We had a date night tonight and the food was amazing (Thursday special of shrimp scampi and lobster). We also shared the Margarita Flight and loved it (we had the hot spices left off of the passion fruit one). The Brussels sprouts are worth the upgrade for a side. Service was also excellent. That's why we come back!”

“Yes, I would recommend The Chug, every staff member that I have encountered have been easy going and kind, as well as being humorous which help make the experience better. However, Rachel that works Wednesday nights has the worst egotistical attitude. I’ve never met anyone who has intentionally made fun of a customer as well as belittle them. As an owner of The Chug, I would remember to remind your staff about their place as a bartender. They do provide customer service and that comes along with human decency and a kind attitude. Thank goodness the second bartender, (I don’t recall her name, curly haired woman) was there to provide us drinks. She is someone who you should use as a reference when hiring new employees. Thanks for all the good nights prior to this night in particular. I will still go to The Chug in hopes that people like Rachel are not working.”

“We were looking for someplace different for my daughters graduation open house. Rosebud coffee house was perfect! The space was open and plenty of room for our decorations and guests. The staff was very helpful and made it an easy process. My daughters open house turned out great and I highly recommend.”

“Went in to place a to go order, was greeted immediately and given a heads up that they had a big order placed and a new person working in the back and they would be with me in just a second. I barely waited to order and then the person working up front went to the back and made my order and brought it out so I didn't have to wait on the large order. I had no problem waiting but I thought that was super kind and it was appreciated. And of course the food was wonderful and the bread is top tier delicious!”

“Today was my first visit to this business. They have ample indoor and outdoor seating and a huge menu. Kyle was immediately engaging and friendly. He recommended the daily specials and was even willing to substitute a side item within that chosen special without batting an eye. I ordered a half & half tea and Kyle kept the refills coming.

The lunch special, smoked sausage with potatoes and green beans, was tender and flavorful. Cornbread and macaroni salad were yummy and the tea was tasty. All of the food was great and the service was excellent. Value here is very high. I look forward to my next visit!

Wheelchair accessibility: Main entryway is a little narrow and could get tricky with a wheelchair, but the outdoor covered seating in the pole barn is exceptionally accessible during warm weather as the large garage doors are elevated. Everything is ground level. No steps.”

“I have never had a bad experience. alwys got my ice cream or what ever I ordered was good. but, the prices? got a large ice cream slushy first time it was 2.15 2nd time it was 3.16 n I got one today n they charged me 6.59. i didn't make a big deal about it no need to get mad but let your workers know how to ring them up. Thank you. I don't want to cheat anybody.”

I wish all places had servers with this type of attitude.. I didn't get to catch her name but she was delightful! I came in on August 9th about 9pm so whoever the girl was working thank you so much! I wasn't having the greatest of days and your attitude an greetings helped turned my evening around! Plus the food helped out a whole bunch also!

“Ordered pizza using their app on one of the busiest days of the year, New Year's eve. When I arrived the place was very busy but very well staffed. Pizza was ready for pickup right on time.”

“On March 25, 2025, my son and I came here for a quick bite. I had the Salmon Benedict with fresh fruit and my son had the Buffalo wing starter. The food was delicious, my Benedict was creamy and the sauce was yummy. My son's only complaint was he wanted more. But I explained it's a starter not a dinner. He's 13 so he eats a lot. I think there's a compliment in there for the wings. He's can be very picky. I would recommend this place. I forgot our server was very quick and personable. We will be back.”

Only to find there was no guacamole on the Southwest GUACAMOLE salad that I ordered. Ok, mistakes happen. Although, I did tip 15% for a carryout order. Well, next time no tip. “I was timid to try this place because of the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised! When you first walk in the restaurant smells a little like mildew, and it looks very dull and old. However, the food was actually pretty good! I ordered the fresh spring rolls and the rice noodle soup. The soup is delicious! 9/10 recommend ordering it. Next time I will ask for some spicy sauce to add a nice kick. The spring rolls were very fresh and had a nice crunch from the vegetables inside of them. I'll definitely order them again! Thai Kitchen is a small hole in the wall place that I definitely think you should try! I'll definitely be back.”

“I became a patron for the food and the general atmosphere. Now it’s my go-to to get out of the house. This little gem is Muncie’s best-kept secret. Known for their statue of Paul Bunyan, this bar serves all the usual bears and has a fairly deep liquor shelf. Their food is out of this world. I personally recommend the ribeye sandwich and fried mushrooms.”

The reason this review is a four and not five is because the crust of the pizza could have been better if they basted it with the garlic butter that they have. The garlic butter was so good and would have amplified the crust x10. Overall, good experience, friendly service and good pizza.”

“We've been there for karaoke on some Saturdays (which is every other weekend at the present), and the place has been buzzing. Some folks are shooting pool, others are singing, and some just hanging out with friends and having a good time.The staff has always been top notch and friendly. “As a Ball State Student, I just love coming to China Express! I’m a picky eater actually, but whenever I come here I’m always happy with what I get, and I’ve had tons of their dishes! My favorite part is that you can customize your dish however you want it. For example, I like to ask for extra garlic in my dishes because I love garlic! The people in China Express are always so kind and helpful! They’ll certainly help you if you are unsure what to get. I always get the combo dishes now though. Adding tax, you can get one for about $11, and you get your entree, rice, and a choice of a side. For my side I get the egg roll. Thank you China Express for the great meals!”
