We love Applebee's. The food is always well-prepared and tasty, the service is generally good, and it's fun to keep tabs on the scores.My only complaint is that the Bourbon Street chicken is served on a bed of mushrooms & caramelized onions...which count as a side vegetable. To count it as a side is pretty chinzy, especially when that is how the chicken is prepared. A serving of green beans or broccoli would cost hardly anything for them to include along with their potatoes.
My chicken was cold on the bottom, which I believe means it was microwaved to reheat it. They were out of the garlic mashed potatoes that came with my meal. I wanted to sub the cheesy broccoli, which is on the same sides menu as the garlic mashed potatoes, but was still upcharged. Then my entire meal was unnecessarily greasy.
