“seriously couldn't recommend it enough some of the best food in townVegetarian options: there are are reasonable if space vegetarian options on this menuKid-friendliness: it's a 21 and over bar why do you want to bring your kid here are you a bad parent lol“
“Located across from the beautiful White River in Muncie, Indiana is this gem of a restaurant. Don't let the full lot scare you, as there is parking across the street, and the wait was not bad, and well worth it! The N'awlin's Pasta was on point with red and green Bell Pepper strips, Chicken and Shrimp over Angel Hair Pasta topped with Parmesan. The Amazing Cheesy Fries were Amazing with bacon, jack and cheddar with ranch on the side. The 3 sides were excellent (green beans with bacon, broccoli [greenest I have ever seen] and baked loaded potato). My wife's Fall Off The Bone Ribs were a half rack of tender, juicy ribs smothered with an Amazing BBQ Sauce. The service was unbelievable as she must have checked in with us at least a dozen times (Jaden). The atmosphere was clean, cool, and interesting.“
“Great food and great service. Our waiter explained all the meals to us. He took our order didn't even write it down even with all our changes and still got everything right. Always came back and checked on us so fantastic service. We recommend the chef's fries even though they sound not so appealing. They use paper tablecloths that kids can color on. Love how they keep kids pictures that want them to and hang them on the walls. Just was a great experience and we will definitely be going back. Can be a little expensive $50 for two that was with an appetizer two meals and a drink and a beer.“
“We love old saloons, so this was perfect! The broasted pork chop blew me away, like 2inches thick, juicy, hot! Nachos were fantastic! Real cheese, no liquid cheese, tons of meat, green pepper and onion, fish dinner was just one piece of fish but he loved it. Great waitress, cold draft beer. We got clams, taco sticks and mushrooms. The bill was much less than I expected! Going back soon!!!!!“
“My fries were hard that even my little ones wouldnt eat em, my 7 yr old took one bite of her hotdog and spit it out gagging I tried a bite of it and it was like eating rubber. Definitely way over priced for the quality of the food. Went back today 6/1/23 and the owner replaced the food with other items and today it was all great!!! The food was fresh. My kids got corn dogs and waffle fries and I got the bbq sandwich and waffle fries. Everything was fresh and delicious.“
“Hidden gem in Muncie! Made from scratch and fresh to order. You won’t find better quality Thai food around. Flavorful dishes made with love. Living in Muncie my whole life, I’m not sure how I’ve only discovered this place in the past year or so. Try the Chicken Tom Yum soup… amazing ❤️“
“Atmosphere is always hopping. Brandon and Alexis are great bartenders. The food is consistent and always good. Been here many times but for the first time I had a steak tonight and the filet was perfect. Alexis made the salad and creamy horseradish. We love it here and go often. You need to try it!“
“This bar is the best in the BSU area. I’ve always had a great experience here. The bartenders are always nice and welcoming and the security is kind. Even the people who come here are decent. I legitimately cannot think of a bad thing at all when it comes to BHN!“
“I had such a great experience dining in. It was my wife and I's 5th anniversary. We sat at a table in the corner looking out at the street, which we quite liked. It was a more intimate area. The lighting was dim but not too dim, it really set the mood for the night. Our server was attentive, but not too much so that it became overbearing. He was very knowledgeable on the menu items and gave us some great insight on what to order. We ordered the Cromini Crustini as the appetizer, and it was very decadent. Very creamy with the perfect amount of Balsamic glaze on top. After the appetizer, my wife got the onion soup, while I got the Curried Potato soup. The curry was good, but after tasting that onion soup, I wished I had gotten it. We both agreed that it was the best onion soup we've ever tasted. My wife settled on the 14 oz. Strip Steak, and I on the Chicken Marcona. The Chicken Marcona was a perfect mix of salty/sweet. The sides were very normal, just green beans and mashed potatoes, nothing special. My wife's steak was very good, nice and tender. It paired very well with the pickled onions on the side. For dessert, I got the pecan crusted cheesecake, while my wife ordered the creme brulee. Both were exceptional in our book.Overall we loved the ambiance, food, and staff of Vera Mae's, and we will definitely be back!“
“Kid-friendliness: Coloring pages, suckers and extra treats, staff talked to the kids and let them order/ talked to them about menu options. The kids loved the St. Patrick's Day decorations near the ground inside the entry where they could see and enjoy them.“
“Wife and I went to Timbers for lunch. My tenderloin was amazing and took up the plate. Fries were great. Wife's burger was cooked perfectly. The staff were very friendly and treated us like old friends. We will definitely be going back and recommending this place to everyone.“
“We went to use the golf simulator and had some drinks after dinner. The simulator was not working, but the staff kindly placed us in the private simulator and did not charge us for the time as a courtesy for our patience. We will return again!“
“Pretty laid back day time bar with friendly staff and patrons. Has some outdoor seating on the patio as well. Plenty of TVs, Bowling machine, golf machine, and pool tables. Beer prices are awesome. $1.75 Mon, Wed, Fri. Large parking lot and the place is usually pretty clean. Nice place to grab a beer and play some games.“
“Food was good. Service was poor. I had to ask my server multiple times for things. Like, our popcorn, our straws, for our menus to be taken away, etc. I also tried getting my server to fix the burger but she kept misunderstanding and didn't fix it. I felt slightly neglected from the other customers there because it seemed they did not have to keep bugging her. She seemed rushed and I think she was new so I don't blame her, but it was a Thursday morning that wasn't slammed with people. Thanks for the experience. It's a cool place and I love the inside. I'd go there again and I completely recommend this place to anyone in muncie.“
“The drinks are hit or miss honestly. When it isn't good it's usually because they used way too much syrup or schnapps. Love the atmosphere though. We were a bit disappointed too when we had our first girls night in years, went to Cheers for karaoke and they didn't have it, they had a band instead. Can't really complain about live music but we were really I'm the mood to karaoke so we went down the street to B Champs“
“The food was great. Getting a worker's attention is a different story. They need to work on that. What I liked about MCL in Anderson (before the mall went under) was it had a coffee pot out where customers could get a warm-up when they wanted it.“
“Place was clean. Table had to be wiped down first, as it was dirty upon arrival but that was all. Service was great. We got the all you can eat for 14.99 that they are advertising right now. The server never skipped a beat. I don't think I waited more then 5 min for a new round of food. Great job to her! Food tasted good and good drinks. We all had a fun night out after a hard day's work!“
“My favorite place to go the waitresses and I have become friends specially day time great bunch of girls helpful smiling and cheeful makes you feel right at home in fact today 3/1 /24 they helped me celebrate my 75 th birthday and so did everyone in back I brought in cupcakes they all said happy birthday and thanks for the cup cakes how much bett could you want it thanks girls I love you all“
“Our group of 6 ladies (classmates 50 years ago) meet @ Culver's in Muncie or Anderson. We each get what we want & always some type of ice cream while we enjoy our time together. There is plenty of room to sit together and we never feel rushed.“
“Silverware and coffee cups needed a proper wash. The food was ok but the 7 Oz. steak is not 7 Oz. Coffee tasted burnt like a truck stops coffee. Their style of potatoes was not my style, I prefer hashbrown style. But service was good they where friendly and easy to talk“
“Never ate steak at from red lobster cause why would you right? But steak had good flavor cooked to perfection. Lobster tail was excellent. Loaded baked potatoe was fully loaded. Broccoli cooked to perfection. Great service. Still my favorite red lobster and that's from Indiana to Arizona and down to arkansas.“
“My girlfriend and I have only been there twice so far, but it was nothing short of marvelous both times. The first time we tried their coffee and loved it, and then just this morning we got bagel sandwiches which were delicious. Their menu is innovative, their pastries have a rotating stock, the associates are nice (if not a little aloof at times), and I absolutely love the atmosphere.Vegetarian options: They have several vegetarian (and a few vegan) options for sandwiches, paninis, and breakfasts. They also have milk alternatives like oat milk. As long as you're not picky, the food is still delicious without meat on it ?“
“The food here is always amazing but the place smells so bad like bad dish soap. The employees at the registers are super super slow but so friendly!! The TV plays only soaps, what about the younger generation?? They have stains all over the ceiling and dust everywhere. The floors felt sticky where ever I walked. I would rather eat in my car or outside then sit inside again..... I had ordered two ham and cheese melts, two small fries, two medium drinks, and a side order of green beans.“
“I always get the country fried steak, mash pot. Country gravy, green beans and a roll. With a large chocolate milk. Every once in awhile I'll get the sausage and biscuit gravy with a side of crisp bacon. The atmosphere is pleasant. The waitress always helpful. Will always be one of my favorite restaurants. Plus I worked there 30 yrs ago. When I was a much younger woman. They have been in our community for a long time. Recommended for friends and family to eat and visit. This occasion I had the eggs bacon, hash browns, crisp bacon, sausage gravy and biscuits chocolate milk. With my Granddaughter Alaina.“
“Texas Roadhouse is a family favorite for us. The food is delicious, customer service is great, and the atmosphere is inviting as well. There is even a free juke box where you can request your favorite country songs for free. The price is fair, and fits the quality of services and food provided. I recommend Texas Roadhouse in Muncie.Vegetarian options: Salads, steamed veggies, and other vegetarian foods can be ordered.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu, kid friendly foods, and the staff are always very kind to my children.“
“Had a night out with my family and it was an awesome time. We had a couple setbacks but Bret and Abby were the best of the best in handling it. We appreciate them taking care of us so well. They had great customer service and just on top of everything. Will go back again and hope we get Abby on Bret’s shift! Thanks guys :)“
“This Ruby Tuesday was really good when we visited. Our food came out quick AND it was hot and fresh. Steak was cooked perfect. The bourbon chicken was tender. Our server was decent, missed a couple things, I ordered strawberry tea, and got a strawberry lemonade in my refill and my hubs had sour cream (yuck) on his potato. My biggest complaint is the size of the to-go drink. The baby 8 oz cup was not worth taking.“
“This place is SUPER COOL. Have to check out if you are around the Muncie area. Nostalgia galore! Lots of neon. And tons to look at. The food is fast, made to order, hot, and delicious! This is definitely a place that is a "Go To" if you are in the area. The ice cream was tasty also! They also do car shows and things it looks like at this location for more fun things to look forward to in the summer!! Definitely will be back next time I'm in town!“
