Great ambiance with well-spaced, whimsical, and expressive art pieces. The shrimp and grits bowl was a fusion of gumbo with the increasingly common low country shrimp and grits staple. The lemon souffle pancakes were light and bursting with delicate flavors of lemon, vanilla, and bluberry. We were visiting Louisville, KY, and my friend was looking for a place for us to have breakfast. She gave me the address for this place and I thought it was fun that we could go to another state by just crossing the river. :-)The menu had great options. It was very hard to choose. First visit. We'll definitely be back. Got here about 10AM on a Sunday morning, hoping it wasn't mobbed. It was busy, but we were seated immediately. Friendly, quick, and attentive service throughout our visit. So many great menu options it was hard to decide. My partner's fritatta was eggsellent (couldn't resist).
