The little bit of buttercream and the cherries were phenomenal but the “cake” was like halva almost but not very flavorful and chalky. My non vegan friends were not set a good example of vegan desserts sadly. The others were very different, so a simple dessert on the menu would be nice. Soooo happy for the vegan menu though!!”

I counted five fiddles, six wind instruments and string instrument I did not recognize and two of the Irish drums held on the left hand. Quite the blast. Only thing that would have improved the place was a decent IPA, but I'm from Seattle so spoiled in that regard.”

Rico himself, could not have been nicer, personally wrapping up all leftovers to go. Paying by corporate credit card via their square device was easy as well. A special shout out to Maria on the administrative side of the business for her high level of customer care! The price to provide 75 people with a tasty and filling lunch could not be beat either!! “My family traveled from Chicago to South Bend this weekend to pick up our service dog for my 5 year-old Autistic son. While the experience was amazing, my son struggled a bit with the trip, as he is very much a person of habit! He woke up Sunday morning asking for a cheeseburger. We scrambled to figure out where we could possibly get a cheeseburger at 8am, and we were excited to see a Burger King near our hotel. We packed up 4 kids and a service dog and headed over. We were quickly and kindly informed that lunch was not served until 11. I told the cashier I had an autistic kiddo in desperate need of a cheeseburger, and asked if she knew anywhere in the area I could get one. Another employee heard my situation and with no hesitation, swooped in said she will make him a cheeseburger. This woman went completely out of her way to help my son. She had a burger cooked and ready to go in minutes. She refused my money as I went to pay for it. When I thanked her profusely, she put her hand over her heart and told me so sincerely, “She understands”. Thank you to this wonderful woman for her kindness and compassion!”

I was 4 or 5 cars back in line and I don’t think I was in line for more than a couple minutes. Sandwich and coffee were great and the staff were extremely friendly, professional and efficient. We did not choose contactless delivery. Open the pizza box and immediately tell it’s incorrect. It’s made with pepperoncini and not jalapeño. I call the store. No one answers. I try again and nothing. Contact Slice. They called the store and the store advised that the pizza was made correct. I assure the Slice person it is not. Sent them a picture of the incorrect pizza. Got 20% back. So ruined dinner and got back around $5. This sucks. No more Bruno’s for us.”

“Great contemporary modern style bar/lounge in the heart of Downtown South Bend. The interesting light fixtures and chill vibe make this a fun place to hangout and order a few drinks. There are board games you can play as well as a pool table and if you are lucky you can catch some live music. My wife and I love this place and as a bonus you can catch a live comedy show right in the same building. The only thing keeping this place from five stars are the prices as it's a hotel bar which means inflated prices and unfortunately as good as the food looks I cannot leave a review because I have not tried the food. They have four beer choices on tap usually with one eccentric flavor when we went it was Mango Wheat (Delicious by the way) and the bar tenders were very friendly with quick service, I highly recommend you check this place out!!”

It's on Eddy Street just a few doors down from the Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore. There is a parking garage nearby with free two-hour parking. Burgers are all great, though if you don't want to rare a hamburger, ask for it medium well. I personally enjoyed the Burger Snack ... it's a smaller burger and just the right amount for lunch.”

“Visiting South Bend and this place was across the street from my hotel so I decided to try it. While standing there looking at the menu and trying to two decide what to get another customer told me I should try the ribs. So I ordered the half rack of baby back ribs and they were absolutely amazing! The sauce was delicious and the meat was just falling off the bone. They came with fries coleslaw and French bread as well and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend. I would like to go back and try some other menu items.”
