“Smallish Mexican joint in Basehor Kansas.12 of us went on a Saturday early afternoon after USM graduation.Salsa and queso 5 ⭐️sService 5⭐️s ++Food 5⭐️s ++++I had Cancun Tilapia....One huge tilapia filet...grilled, topped with 6 medium size shrimp and a big dollop of crab. All topped with a creamy poblano sauce. Absolutely as good (or better) than any Ive had in DFW Texas...where I live. More than generous portions/plates.Price to to value....excellent.If you are on 70 and your Mexican itch needs to be scratched, get off in Basehor, slip over to Rodeo on old 40 highway. You wont be disappointed.“

“If you get an opportunity to visit this place, do it!!!! We had the 6 wine tasting for 7.00!!!! We tried 3 reds and 3 white. Very, very tasty. In fact, probably some of the best wine I've ever had. Ask for Erin and Mandy- you won't meet nicer people and they know their wine! Very knowledgeable!!! We sauntered out to the patio and engaged in conversation with other wine lovers. SO FUN! Browse their Merchandise inside too-fun and high end things at very reasonable prices. We ended up buying three bottles of our favorites and it didn't break the bank-very very affordable for what you're drinking. We will definitely be back, not even a question. It will happen. “This is a 5-star Chinese takeout restaurant. Don't @ me as the kids say (do they still say that?). If you want fancy hibachi or sushi go somewhere else. This place is for delicious carry-out so you can pick it up and gorge yourself in the privacy of your own home. Don't get cute with your order. Generals Chicken, Teriyaki Beef Sticks, Fried Rice and Crab Rangoon are guaranteed to be at least 4.5/5.0 every time. Call in your order and it WILL be ready when you get there. Pretty sure it's one guy in the kitchen but it might as well be a whole army of chefs and line cooks. I've never had to wait when calling ahead - not sure what they are doing back there but I'm fairly certain you could call in from the parking lot and it would be ready by the time you got to the register (and it's not even a big parking lot). Also, they aren't messing around with idle chit chat. Get your food and hit the road. I love it. I don't need someone to ask me how my day is going or if I have big plans for the weekend. Overall just a very solid local place that's our go-to when it comes to good Chinese carry out.“

“We are local and frequent this restaurant. Today, Tuesday May7 we dined in for lunch. We thought we were going to have slow service due to the place was packed with diners. Our server, was prompt with our drinks, chips and our meal. We ordered the ground beef chimichanga and the lunch chefs special ( similar to the Tres Amigos). Our food was excellent and the service was A+. Our chips, salsa and drinks were always refilled without a request. The server was very accommodating.“

The only downside was the level of music while trying to talk across the table. I’m sure if I’d have though to bring it up to our server, he would have handled that for us as well.“

They do have coupons and specials, which helps.Vegetarian options: My favorite pizza at Papa Murphy's is the gourmet vegetarian, even though I do not generally practice a vegetarian diet. “We needed a a private booth that would fit our whole family of 8(mostly kids) and the server here I forgot his name was so kind and generous enough to give us the party room. Not only was it a great relief that our kids weren't squished next to each other but the restaurant was clean and the customer service was impressive. Our food didn't take too long to come and it was nice and hot! I loved the chicken quesadilla and my chicken salad. We enjoyed our meal along with the awesome customer service everyone showed in this restaurant during our dine. I have been eating Chipotle burritos for years.. but the Al Pastor burrito that I got today was a thousand times better than any Chipotle burrito I ever had! No joke.
