“It's a little late review but i had to write since the food was so good!.. we were there the other day.. Ordered butter chicken, chicken biryani and naan. It came with this amazing chutney. Everything was really good. So far the best food i had compared to all other Indian restaurants in Kansas. Biryani was spot on! Great flavors not too spicy so my 8yr old and 6yr old enjoyed it too. We all loved the food and can't wait to go back and try other dishes. We even got complementary chai with our meals. Owner is really nice, we got to chat with her and her son. It was amazing experience overall!!“

“Usually great food, and we est here often. However, last week we were 100% dissatisfied! First, the entire meal was late, they had to substitute knots for garlic bread, waited forever and the calzone had literally one piece of meat about 1"x1.5" and what looked like a mozzarella stick for cheese. The meal was gross, late, over cooked and not what we ordered or paid for. So disappointed. Since it is a long drive we regularly make I doubt we will be returning. $34 meal wasted.“

“Being from the NY Metro area, this is as good as most NY/NJ restaurants. Egg drop soup was fantastic with NO corn, carrots, peas, or any other junk, just how it should be. The lunch menu is great and worth it. Fast service for lunch. Good parking and easy to find.“

“Mexican food can be sort of hit or miss. El Patrón is definitely a hit! Very nice staff and the best chips and salsa I have ever had! The salsa had great flavor, not too mild or spicy, and the chips were fresh and fried to a perfect crisp! I would definitely recommend the Molcajete if you want a traditional variety of Mexican delicacies, but only if you like spicy things. Would definitely recommend and will be returning!“

“We went to Minsky’s for the very first time to experience their gourmet pizza that we heard so much about on TV! Sophia, our server was so knowledgeable about the wide variety of menu items and she was so attentive and fun to talk with! Austin the bartender was also very helpful and fun! And much to our delight ….we just found out that they have extended their hours to 2:00 am for food and booze through May! Finally a neighborhood restaurant with late night hours to let you linger longer! We’re definitely coming back to take advantage of that new feature!! “We attended a private event for approximately 50 guests at Austin's on Lone Elm this weekend. The taco bar was quite tasty, and stocked repeatedly for our group as needed. While the party was fun, it was ever more memorable due to our two servers, Mikaela and Jeremy. These two were so fun, exuberant and hard working professionals. Their constant smiles while keeping up with the drink orders with precision was fantastic! They were go getters from the start and made an already fun day even better. Great employees, good food, thank you Austin's Lone Elm for a great experience!“

“Got the daily special it was the Chicken Fried Chicken, it wasn't the best chicken fried chicken I have ever had, but it was decent, it could be better if the gravy wasn't between cold and warm - I like my gravy to be hotter, not burning my tongue but definitely not feeling like my plate sat and my gravy lost it warmness. I also thought that I would get a bigger portion of chicken fried chicken at that cost and I asked if it was a lunch portion and they said no. Fries and green beans were great. The nachos with beef was good my wife said, I tasted one and the nachos were a bit soggy, I like my nacho chips to be a little more crispy.The service was mediocre, I had to wait a little longer to get a refill and some extra napkins, but they were busy during lunch. Although they are busy here's a hint if you are a waiter or watress if you pass by a table even if it isn't yours and you see a person's drink near the edge of table and not full maybe ask if you need a refill. I tipped the girl 20% but probably should have tipped 10% for the service. I tipped her 20% because she was really nice, but if I were management I would definitely look into this issue. You have a lot of staff and someone could have noticed my drink not even half way full.Lastly I want to say the atmosphere is great, lots to look at in the bar and you have friendly staff but service and food should be your top priority as a restaurant owner. When either of those are lacking it could keep people from returning.I don't live close by this restaurant and live in Western Shawnee so venturing out to your restaurant is a little out of my way so hopefully my next visit (Yes I will return with my family) will be better. I only dinged one star each for food and service, hopefully next time I can give 5 stars across the board.“

“If you get an opportunity to visit this place, do it!!!! We had the 6 wine tasting for 7.00!!!! We tried 3 reds and 3 white. Very, very tasty. In fact, probably some of the best wine I've ever had. Ask for Erin and Mandy- you won't meet nicer people and they know their wine! Very knowledgeable!!! We sauntered out to the patio and engaged in conversation with other wine lovers. SO FUN! Browse their Merchandise inside too-fun and high end things at very reasonable prices. After reading reviews we decided to try Chen's Kitchen because it has a lunch special for $7.99 - just right for a couple of Seniors. The place is small - only four tables - obviously most of their business is carryout. We tried Sesame Chicken & Chicken with Green Beans. They came with your choice of a can of soda, soup, crab rangoon or eggroll - an extra is only $.50 more. Everything was delicious & we both had enough leftover to take home. This place is as good as any similar place & I'll return. I can't believe it's been there almost 20 years - just a few miles from my home.“

I've personally never been to the location, but I have visited a food spot next to it and it seems to be very spacious with plenty of parking especially during the day. We ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap, Buffalo ranch on the side so we could control the sauce amount as well as the spice, extra ranch on the side and a couple tator tots (clearly eaten before the photo was taken). Surprisingly for as simple as it is, the chicken had a delicious grilled flavor, lettuce super crisp, cheese delish and the Buffalo sauce had a little tanginess to it that just pulled everything together. I'd definitely come back and I look forward to trying other items on the menu!“

Generals Chicken, Teriyaki Beef Sticks, Fried Rice and Crab Rangoon are guaranteed to be at least 4.5/5.0 every time. Call in your order and it WILL be ready when you get there. Pretty sure it's one guy in the kitchen but it might as well be a whole army of chefs and line cooks. I've never had to wait when calling ahead - not sure what they are doing back there but I'm fairly certain you could call in from the parking lot and it would be ready by the time you got to the register (and it's not even a big parking lot). Also, they aren't messing around with idle chit chat. Get your food and hit the road. I love it. I don't need someone to ask me how my day is going or if I have big plans for the weekend. Overall just a very solid local place that's our go-to when it comes to good Chinese carry out.“
