“My daughter loves Açaí bowls, I thought I was not a fan after trying a few places. I tried this place and I am a huge fan now. It is creamy vs icy like the others. You had different flavors and layers. Way more toppings and options. You get way more for your money than the other places. The owner was a sweetheart and as my daughter says “the inside was aesthetically pleasing”?x. Cute and yummy place…“

“Best Middle Eastern food around. I drive about half an hour and pass about 5 others to get to this one. The service is the best I've had, the food is full of flavour and can't beat the price. This is a must stop for any foodies or anyone who likes Middle Eastern.“
“Went in to Cafe Gratitude on a Saturday with a girlfriend after receiving an email about a new dish called “ I am bold-loving-tasty” the sandwich. In part of the description they use the word BBQ which I’m not a fan of and almost deterred me from ordering….. but I love Cafe Gratitude and decided to throw caution to the wind and order it and I did. It was delicious!! I was a little nervous about the tofu as well, because I’m not a big fan of tofu. The chef at CG nailed it! It was seasoned perfectly and just a great meal. I encourage anyone reading this to go try it. You won’t be disappointed.“
“The only reason this review isn't a five is because they seemed a little under-staffed at our time of visiting, which led to some pretty long wait times. We ate out on the patio and had a lovely time. I highly recommend the Vegetarian Sampler Platter that comes with so many dishes to try. The mushrooms and potatoes are fantastic! Some of the best Ethiopian food we've had. A must-visit if you're in KC.“

“The staff are so friendly and helpful here! They make you feel like you are at a nice, full service restaurant. Food is always yummy, good sized portions & they don't skimp on meat on the sandwiches. Quick service & the restaurant is always clean.“
“I had the smoked gouda turkey burger with a side salad and both were delicious. The burger had a wonderful mustard sauce. We got there about 11:30 on a Thursday and had no trouble getting a table. By noon the restaurant was filling up. Our server was very attentive and helpful with the menu. All items had their calorie count.“

“I haven’t been here in about 3 years. Food was mostly as good as always. Service was just about nonexistent as there was one busboy, and we had to ask for water refills, and the plates piled up. There were only 4 occupied tables at lunch, far from the days past. Could have just been an off day.It was also just under $50 for two of us with tip… no extras, no water, etc.“
“Been to a couple locations and this one was one of the most impressive.Our server, Luke, went above and beyond to take care of us.Food was unique and good, beer selection was diverse, and everything I had was fresh.Oddly enough, the kids activity book was really cool. Not just the usual tic tac toe, but there was a few neat musical puzzles and questions that got my family and I all engaged with it, with my son. Hats off to the creative team for that!“
“A staple brunch spot for my boyfriend and I. We always share the Salmon Benedict and Potato Bowl add 1 egg & bison sausage. We recently tried the French Toast as well- no surprise, it’s amazing! It’s not cheap for brunch but the freshness and taste is 100% worth it.“
“We loved it! The hummus was amazing, and I would order that every time I go from now on! I had the lamb biryani, which was amazing and perfectly seasoned. We also had the falafel, lamb shawarma, and the chicken kabobs. We will be back to try other items on the menu and soon! Ohh and how can I forget the baklava, it was perfect not loaded with syrup like some others I have had in the past.“
