“We have been to strips several times, and on a few occasions brought friends with us. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff members are so friendly and helpful. I love the chicken strips and the honey mustard sauce. My son and husband were so happy when we found strips because they LOVE the gluten free chicken nuggets, fries and onion strips. They are all delicious.”

“Superb Customer Service! Have to tell this awesome story... I was invited by a friend to a small Dinner Party on Christmas Day and my only duty was to bring cranberry sauce. Not a big obligation to be sure, as there was nothing to cook or prepare, so I had it easy! But I procrastinated and didn't think to pick up a can until Christmas Day. Of course all the grocery stores were closed. But I remembered the hilarious scene from Tim Allen's "The Santa Clause" movie where all the single Dads wound up taking their children to Denny's on Christmas night because they had burned the turkey in their ovens and because it was well known that Denny's was always open - even on Christmas Day! I looked up Denny's Menu online and sure enough, there was a turkey dinner which came with among other things, a side of cranberry sauce! So I called the Denny's at 2117 Taney in Kansas City and tried to order 6 sides of cranberry sauce to go. The lady on the phone was so sympathetic and wanted to help me and suggested I just buy a whole can (which I agreed), but I overheard her manager tell her that Denny's was "not a grocery store" and that they could not sell me a can. The manager also told the lady to tell me that they could not sell me 6 sides of Cranberry sauce even at full retail price or higher as they were low on stock. The lady was so apologetic to me and suggested I try calling a different Denny's. So I decided to try calling the Denny's in Merriam, Kansas as it was actually not too far from the Dinner Party I was going to later that evening. Kristina Bisby, the General Manager answered the call and listened to my story and told me she could sell me a can. I of course was thrilled and offered to pay double or triple the cost- whatever the price! It was worth it not to show up empty handed at my party. She said not to worry about it, and assured me that she would sell me a can. So anyway, when I arrived at the Denny's Merriam location about 2 hours later, Kristina had unfortunately left the restaurant, but she had given instructions to her Assistant Manager. When I arrived and asked for Kristina, the Assistant Manager went back into the kitchen and brought me 2 cans of cranberry sauce and told me that Kristina wanted me to have them at no charge! I was so taken aback from her kindness and generosity. Not only did I not have to pay for it, but I had only asked for one can and I received two! And not only did I NOT have to show up embarrassed and empty-handed at the dinner party, but the story was so memorable and well-received, it became the hit of the evening, making me quite the popular guest! I cannot thank Kristina and her assistant manager enough. I am confident that this Denny's location is well managed and must have impressive customer service. So I heartily recommend taking your family to eat there. If you happen to stop by this Denny's and remember this story, please make sure to give Kristina a compliment! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.”

“Very fast service. We ordered online and selected pick up asap while we was sitting in the parking lot. Maybe 5 mins, if that, later went inside and it was ready to go at the counter waiting for us to pay for it. It was worth every bit that paid for it too. Reasonably priced, u get alot for ur bucks. Very fresh and high quality ingredients. Very well made, looks like they took their time making it even tho it was made fast. I couldn't wait to go back n get another sandwich from them. So we did go back a couple days later n it was great again. Now whenever I've money to spend again I know where I want to go. I highly recommend to anyone who hasn't tried this place yet. On a side note, along with the great food, if you're not in a rush or have a few mins to spare, it's definitely worth to have a look around the inside of this place. Lots of interesting things to see along the walls in text mostly from like top to bottom all around, some insightful, some funny, even some educational.”

“Food is really good, I've ordered many times from them but my last order included an $8.25 fee for carry out supplies. They charge a percent of the entire bill. No where in the check out process do they tell you this. This seems excessive for 6 utensil packs and 5 takeout containers. Many other BBQ places with similar price points do not charge this fee. If you are going to charge extra fees be up front about it.”
