“Some restaurants have good food, and some have great service. It's rare to find both in one place, but that's exactly what we found at Johnny's Italian Steakhouse in Olathe.
My girlfriend and I came in looking for a nice dinner together, and we left talking about how great the entire experience was. Amy was our waitress, and she genuinely made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. She wasn't just doing her job—she was kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our evening. You can tell she truly cares about the people she serves.
I had the Heart of Italy Combination, and every bite was excellent. My girlfriend ordered the Chubby Cut Top Sirloin with the Parmesan crust, and after trying a bite, I completely understood why she loved it. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the Parmesan crust took it to another level.
Thank you, Amy, for making what could have been just another dinner into a memorable date night. We'll definitely be back, and we hope to see you again. Johnny's has earned two returning customers.”

Their kitchens are spotless, organized, and very well maintained, which says a lot about how much they care about quality and their customers. The staff is always friendly, respectful, and welcoming every time I’ve been there. You can tell they take pride in both their food and customer service. “Don't ever got here for an holiday!!! They will quote you 2 hours and you'll have to wait 3.5 hours. The hostesses were rude and the management was even ruder. “Sylas & Maddys has always been my favorite go to for Ice Cream! They have the best homemade ice cream in Kansas! The service is always friendly and polite. The Ice Cream is out of this world! Their cones are also homemade and very tasty. They like to rotate their flavors and are always coming up with new flavors. The atmosphere is homie and you always feel welcome. I just love this place. “This was an important dinner, my son who is 26, had surgery(had his tonsils removed) a couple days ago, and The recovery is described as one of the worst, and it feels like shards of glass in your throat.he has to eat soft food and he had Choices all over the Kansas City metro area. He chose Joe’s, Joe’s mac & cheese to be exact! We live on the Missouri side (Gladstone). So I decided to stop by this evening, and not only get a quart of mac & cheese for him, I grabbed dinner for myself (z-man w/ fries, ribs w/ red beans and rice, Mac and cheese) which I was reluctant to do, due to me having to drive 35 minutes home and I was worried that it was going to be Soggy and cold, Well, much to my surprise, the food was packed perfectly, my food was still hot, and my fries were still crispy! Thank you Joe’s in Leawood you did amazing! I will probably be back in the next couple of days to purchase more Joes mac & cheese! BTW this son of mine recommends Joes to everyone!! The portions are generous, the presentation is excellent, and there is a depth of flavor that you simply don’t get from typical fast-casual Mediterranean spots. Even the fries I had with my gyro were worth writing home about 👌🏻 What really sets Darna apart, though, is the hospitality. The staff are welcoming, attentive, caring, and genuinely helpful. You can tell there is real care and attention behind everything they serve. “My favorite Tex-Mex restaurant in Olathe. I have had an assortment of dishes here, and they were all delicious. Fajitas, Kansas Burrito, Carne Asada plate. The Chips and Dip is good, you can sometimes find a coupon for a free Queso Dip in one of the Valpak or other local flyers. There are only 2 draw backs when coming here. 1st, they are always very busy. Im not a big fan of crowds or being seated back to back against the next table and they try to pack those tables in there like sardines to service the most customers they can. 2nd is that the staff is not always friendly or even helpful when you have questions about a dish. But the food has always been excellent. Even on to go orders.”

“It was my first time at Mod Pizza and the food was fantastic, but the food wasn’t the best part, the service I received was fantastic!
The young crew member whose name was Aidan was very welcoming and walked me through how the process works, recommending me what he thinks would work best.
I got the mod sized unlimited topping and the toppings were very fresh, the member also didn’t have a problem with changing gloves when I asked.

“80th Street location We usually go to the one on 151st but saw a review in a group and this one was so cute decided to try it. We went on Monday, had such an amazing dinner that we went back tonight (Tuesday). Our servers both nights were beyond friendly and knowledgeable. I forgot Mondays server name but tonight was Marcos and he was the absolute best! I had the tortilla soup both nights and I just want a gallon of it, the best I have ever had. The toppings added to it overall, and the fresh avocado was so tasty. Really, get it, you won't be the same after. Is getting it 3 days in a row excessive? Hmmmm Taco Tuesday tacos $1 each, ground beef or chicken. The ground beef is well seasoned, and delicious. The avocado salsa is another must try. This is a must and my new favorite place.”

“We just moved to the area from Arizona. Originally born and Texas Boy. My daughter took us to this place. Tried the breakfast and lunch, this food took me back to TEXAS for sure. Great flavor authentic for sure. Lots of love goes into this small family owned joint like it should be. So two weeks later went back tried the barbacoa simply amazing. I said this gmail must have some ties to Texas. We met the owner Louise, great godly family man and fantastic food. Hopefully can collaborate soon as I’m bringing Texas Style BBQ to Kansas City! “I adore this tea shop. I heard about it from a friend at work and have been going semi-regularly ever since. The lattes never disappoint and the tea selection is fantastic. The owner is so nice and every drink feels and tastes like it’s made with love. I cannot recommend this place enough. She sells loose leaf tea and isn’t stingy with her latte recipes. I have started making myself my own lavender dream lattes every night before bed to help me sleep and it’s worked wonders. Now that I have a few staples I can make at home, I can branch out and try new things when I go to the shop. Please do yourself a favor and check this place out! ❤️”

For the lunch special beef excellent good moist and flavor same as the burnt end wrap. Maddie’s mac and cheese a must order! Their wings you will not be disappointed we had the hot honey. And we are picking about our food and wings in the ATL! The only thing I would not recommend that we order was the Mac and cheese wedges. The wedges were fired nice and golden but the Mac and cheese inside was missing the mark. But order the Maddie’s mac and cheese. Try their margarita as well you want be disappointed.”

“Nothing Bundt Cakes delivered a full-size red velvet bundt cake with cream cheese frosting to our office as part of a promotion, and WOW—this was hands down the best bundt cake I’ve ever tasted! The cake was incredibly moist, perfectly sweet, and had the most delightful surprise—chocolate chips baked into the batter. Every bite was rich, velvety, and packed with flavor. Our entire office was blown away! If you haven’t tried their cakes yet, you are seriously missing out. Highly recommend!”

“A great pizza place with televisions for games and fun. Service was absolutely slammed with orders which caused a slight delay but the food stayed consistently good. Servers are on top of their game! Our only complaint was the tiramisu was a solid brick straight from the freezer which made it difficult to eat. We made the best of it and considered it ice cream.”

The quality, portions, freshness, speed of food of Jasmine Pavillon is normally A+++ plus. It’s one of my families favorites when we are craving delicious Chinese food here in Johnson County. Well the kids did not like the orange chicken this time, everything else was fantastic! However I was not trying to go back to the restaurant and complain and be that person. Later in the evening I received a request in my email box asking “How did we do?”basically a survey about my experience and I gave an honest review. The next day I get a message from the company and wow I can’t tell you how blown away I was by the customer service! Whoever was messaging me apologize completely took into account what my issues were. Let me know that this was not something that they want to happen again they made me feel like they really care that I’m a customer I know this is just a restaurant to everyone else. However they really made me feel like the money and my opinion mattered. Not once did they blame give excuses or make me feel like it was probably just my issue. They really wanted me to know that their complete goal is customer satisfaction and that I know the quality of their food is important to them. I cannot believe how personable this experience was. I’ve been going here for a couple years and I can 100% say I will be there #1 fan for going back! I normally don’t take the time to write good reviews unless it really is worth it and I feel like this had to be had to be said. Any company that takes the time to actually review and respond to the customers is very rare these days. I think what it was amazing was the survey was private it wasn’t going to be on social media or anything so there really was no need for the company to reach out to me and only to just take the feedback given. Places like this are very rare and they should be acknowledged. I truly appreciate not feeling like a number like everywhere else. Jasmine Pavilion showed me the quality of their food and their customers are truly very important to them. Any business especially one that serves food, that takes the time to resolve, correct or even acknowledge customers experience even if it was initially negative and turn it around to make my experience happy is so valuable . The food is not going to blow your mind but I love their big selection, especially the big selection they have for the lunch and dinner specials. They have a lot of dishes on there that other places only have on their premium menus. There are a lot of great vegetarian options, more so than most places, and they will customize things.

“Nice, newer hotel, part of the Marriott Bonvoy family, and located right next to the Garmin Soccer Complex. They had a very nice breakfast buffet set up with a great guy running it. Plenty of standard hotel breakfast food but it was perfect for the teams and their families. Staff was very accommodating even with dozens of kids running around. There was a big room off the lobby that the teams used to bring in food and hang out. The only drawback was No swimming pool. If you want peace and quiet, make sure to ask if there is a soccer tournament that week end. Great area with plenty of restaurants and stores.”

“I don’t want to say I don’t recommend, because I do love the food, but ever since the renovation we’ve never had a correct order. The mess ups have ranged from no sides being added to the kids meals, zero sauces added that were requested, missing fries and today missing sauces, wasn’t given one of the kids ice creams, and the wrong side being added to the kods meals. I try to spot check the best I can when we get our order, but it’s just impossible. I think the renovation only provides more bodies in the drive though area this causing a lot of confusion.”
