“My wife and I came here for ideas for our garden and I was blown away! So many beautiful plants, items to shop for inside, a lovely cafe, and outdoor seating among some of the plants. It’s a great feeling and a very enjoyable place to be. The staff was extremely helpful in providing us with information on different plants. I got a coffee to go from the cafe and it was the best lavender latte I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to return here.“

He decided to surprise me for my birthday with a day trip to KC (we live in Nebraska). His first stop was McLains and again, It. Did. Not. Disappoint. Already planning a trip to come back!! The owner was lovely to chat to (100% should branch out to Nebraska ?) “Nautical Bowls is absolutely amazing!!! The flavors are all delicious and they are all healthy for you! It’s like eating a dessert for a meal but it’s not a dessert! The staff is amazing and are very knowledgeable. If you’ve never had an açaí bowl, they can walk you through the flavors and pick a bowl that is for you! I recommend the Sunrise bowl and the Big Island Bowl! Sooooo good!!“
“We went on a “I need a cookie” whim and we were NOT disappointed! All the cookies we got were amazing! And I had thought I would take some leftovers to work in Monday. There were no leftovers! And I got a slice of the lemon cheesecake. I’m pretty sure it had chunks of their lemon bars in it! So good! We will definitely be back to try their coffee and breakfast soon!“
“My girlfriend had described this shop as cozy and that's the perfect way to describe it. It's tucked away in the back of a strip mall but it's worth the hunt. Two (yes 2 next to each other) drive thru coffee providers are in the parking lot as you turn in...skip those! They weren't busy but Sweet Tee's was. Not busy uncomfortable, just a nice quiet crowd. We went to visit and drink coffee. Although there are upholstered chairs and sofas, we chose to sit at a table for two. We visited for close to 2 hours. I see they have a new location also in Olathe. Judging from the on-line pictures, I don't think it has this cozy feel. I'm in Leawood, but I'd make a special trip out there again. Good fun coffees. Hers was hot, mine was iced. We didn't try the pastries but looked really good.“
“This wonderful establishment has delicious food, brilliant coffee, and an amazing staff. I'm lactose intolerant and their almond milk does NOT taste like a sad, burnt reminder that it ain't milk. It tastes like perfection in a cup, and is also my favorite. The staff is spectacular, charming and skilled, 10/10 will always recommend.The atmosphere is really nice, since it's connected to a bakery the smell is always mouthwateringly good.Bring your friends, this is effectively the best coffee shop.“
“Met a friend who happened to be passing through town. What better place to meet for conversation and a fantastic breakfast. Quiet, relaxing atmosphere, plenty of good coffee, and if you can’t find a breakfast you like, you’re way too picky or have very poor taste. Breakfast options are massive. Plenty of menu items to eat healthy. A wide variety of side options; my favorite are the buttered grits…..just like my grandma used to make. And did I mention the coffee is bottomless and good?“

“I love this place! Stopped in today for probably the 6th time because they have a gingerbread cookie for the month of December. It is delicious. As are all of their other cookies I've tried. The store is cute but I always take mine to go. They also have many drink options. I've tried a couple of them and they're good too. “I've done a couple of online orders for lunch through Jason's and the food and service is incredible! My pickup orders are ready within 5 minutes, even when ordering during the lunch hour rush. Staff are friendly and quick. The food is healthy and full of flavor. I'll definitely be ordering from here again! “I ordered some bundt cakes for my office and it was amazing. The young lady who delivered the Bundt cakes was very nice. The cakes were delivered between the time range they said they were going to be delivered. You cannot go wrong with any of the flavors, especially the seasonal flavors.“

Red Crow had a huge beverage menu that included lots of their seltzers, ciders, and even just mixed drinks.We came for their Disney trivia, and it was packed. By the time the game started, there was not a single open seat, and staff was limited. But the staff was not slow and they were so friendly!They also had some of the most reasonably priced food and drinks I've seen in a long time.Our group had the Dr. Pepper double burger, pork tacos, chicken sandwhich, chip dip trio, bruchetta dip, and sweet potato chips. No one had anything to complain about, and everyone left miserably full.Highly recommend coming to just grab some craft cocktails, great food, fun games or just to enjoy the atmosphere and good weather on days they have the garage doors open.“
