“I’m new to the area & it’s not often that I get a chance to properly introduce myself & my working dog K9 Zilla, but in this case it was a mini emergency & although others probably couldn’t tell, but I was realllyyy low on energy & Zii told it me was time to get some food fuel in me FAST.I’m a Taco Bell ride or die. so of *course* I had to go to this location because it was literally a few steps away from where I was at.when I came inside, instantly a chill vibe plus I didn’t even realized that I walked in during $1 medium drink happy hour so that made my day a bit.I knew the routine so I told my pup to lay down & placed my order at the kiosk ?(two soft tacos, Baja blast, nacho fries GANG GANG)?& literally in the middle of it, someone calls out behind me & says, “would your pup like some chicken?”& it took me a second to register that they were talking to me lol, but of course I said yes because that made us feel so welcomed!!!not even two minutes later our food is out, super hot, lookin’ like a dream & there was my working dogs hot mini bowl of chicken that she waited so patiently for,for that this Taco Bell is now my favorite location, everyone in the kitchen was super nice to us & idk who made my tacos but DAMN THAT MEAL WAS FIRE ??anyways if y’all need a reason to stop by this specific Taco Bell, go here because the energy is dope, the people are down to earth, & the portions are just chefs kiss ?“
“Don’t bother reading any other reviews but this one. This place is intoxicating with its delicious aromas , friendly staff, and ample parking. I felt enraptured by the food. I tried the spicy chicken. Go ahead , try it . When you start feeling like you might give this less than 5 stars - remember - this used to be a Sonic. And we all know how that turned out.5 STARS!!“
“Best birria than anywhere. we go here all the time. So good. I love the guti fries. Sunday brunch is always lit. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because the flavor of the food is not consistent. Some days it's flavorful and some days it's bland. I guess it depends on who's “
“This place has a 4.9 rating (at the time of this review) for good reason. The food is always super fresh at a super reasonable price. The owners are great as well. It is both vegetarian and meat-eater friendly. Do yourself a favor and stop by.Parking: In addition to street parking, there is a huge community parking lot behind the building that is free.“
“Best tacos around. I only gave it 4 stars on atmosphere because it's a taco truck in a gas station parking lot but food and service are 100%5 stars. Chicken chorizo quesadilla are money. Ask for sauce and extra sour cream. Yes I ate 5 of them but I'm “
“I don’t often give 5 stars but this place does deserve it. The atmosphere is quite unique with custom chairs and booths. I had the Tuesday special which was $2 tacos - chicken, steak, pork and el pastor-so good. Unfortunately there was not a fish taco but what they did have was excellent. My husband had fajitas-so much food came sizzling to the table. Really a place not to be missed when in the area.“
“. This tiny taqueria is a gem. The food is fresh and sublimely delicious!. I LOVE THIS PLACE !. The Guacamole is great.. The Camarones Tacos (shrimp tacos) features 3 small soft tacos with tender, boiled shrimp, shredded cabbage, guac, and the most wonderful Tamarind sauce (sweet and fruity).. The Carnitas Tacos (pork tacos; 3 small soft tacos) has tender flavorful morsels of pork, with onion, guac, and a savory sauce- only slightly spicy.. I recommend the refreshing house-made limeade, called Agua de Limon.. This restaurant is a tiny, very narrow, storefront. Of the two exterior doors on Main Street, enter the left (In) door; when you leave, you use the other door.. The restaurant interior has colorful wall murals and just a few small tables in the back of the space. They do offer carry-out.. Parking on Main Street is limited, but there is one (pay) public lot just across Main Street, and another (pay) public parking lot about 1/2 block away at 7th and Main.“
“Great place for a modern Mexican meal. We had a combination of dishes from Pollo Monterrey and Flautas to firecracker shrimp and Chicharrones. As we enjoyed our drinks the chef came out with a complimentary hors d’oeuvre that he was looking for our input on…It was great!!! Service and atmosphere are excellent.“
“A bunch of us walked over from our hotel while on a business trip and they were able to seat us quickly and serve us quickly.Service was excellent, fast and polite.Food was very good. Came to the table very quickly and they had served in order of the way the orders were taken which was great. Pork el pastor tacos in the video.Atmosphere was very nice, we say outside as it was nice and we enjoyed it.Enjoy!Wheelchair accessibility: Street level, open concept.“
“We have had dinner here 3 times recently! Always looking for local establishments to support! Highly recommend this one! The servers have been wonderful!! All the food we have choosen has been very good! Every time our son comes in town we try a new place between here and Cincinnati and so far this has been his favorite! He had the street tacos and raved about them! It does take just a little bit of time to get our food however, it is 100% worth it because it’s so fresh and hot and very tasty! please do give this place a try, you won’t regret it!“
“Best Mexican food in the area. Husband and I have our faves from their menu but I can honestly say I have never had anything but delicious food from this restaurant. Less than 5 minutes from Amelia Kroger, it is convenient for take out. Polite, efficient service. Thanks Guys!“
“El Rio Grande offers an exceptional dining experience with its mouth watering Xangos dessert, a true delight! The Fajita sizzler for 2 is a generous feast capable of satisfying even a group of 4, boasting ample portions, freshly prepared sides, and flavorful sauces. The outstanding service complements the delectable cuisine, making it a must-visit destination for lovers of Mexican cuisine seeking quality and quantity in equal measure.Vegetarian options: Every dish can easily be made vegetarian by simply removing the meat and adding in some refried or black beans.Dietary restrictions: When you make a reservation at a restaurant, be sure to tell the staff about any dietary restrictions or preferences you have. If they can't accommodate you, they may be able to recommend other restaurants that can.Parking: On busy days spots directly in front of the restaurant fill up quickly, but there is plenty of parking in the parking areas adjacent to the exact location.Kid-friendliness: A warm and inviting atmosphere with plenty of room at the tables, colorful seating and wall decorations as well as enough ambient music to ensure even those children that are a bit loud won't disturb others.Wheelchair accessibility: This location has no barriers to entry and both front doors are wheelchair width and easily navigable. There is a slight curb directly in front of the restaurant but a ramp on the right hand side of the sidewalk.“
“I've had less than stellar luck with more traditional Mexican food in Kentucky. And the ones that have had some level of promise have price tags that don't make sense. Don't expect a never ending pile of chips at San Miguel but you should expect some of the best tacos you've had in a very very long time. If you are craving Traditional style with 2 corn tortillas and a pile on onion and cilantro, this is your place. I took a tour of the tacos with chorizo, langua, carnitas, and al pastor. Hoping to find what they were strongest in if I were to come back. I will be back and I'd be thrilled with any of the above. The gf went with a chorizo quesadilla. I was excited because she rarely finishes a plate and that means I get her scraps! The dilla was pretty large but she said she just couldn't stop eating it. I did get a couple bites and it was perfect. I can't wait to go back“
“Our server, Austin, made several suggestions since it was our first time eating at Frida. Hard to choose because everything sounded delicious but we ordered the salsa sampler and 4 different tacos (my husband made his a platter & we shared the refried beans & rice). Everything was delicious & fresh. Will definitely go back to try other entrees on the menu.“
“"Mexican food so authentic, Donald Trump wants to build a wall around it."This is scrawled in chalk behind the main register in the place and I have to say, I agree! I had the pollo con mole. Homemade mole sauce was to die for. Burritos were stuffed and all the ingredients were fresh. The salsa had just the right amount of heat and loads of cilantro. The ambiance was awesome with the store in the back and the eclectic décor and different levels and whatnot. There was a couple celebrating their anniversary who invited their waiter to take a shot, and he did. It felt like having dinner with my extended family. If you're in the area, I highly recommend it. Worth the walk away from the Levee.“
“Cancun Mexican Bar & Grill is a solid Mexican restaurant in a great location near downtown Cincinnati. The service here us quick and the servers are all very welcoming and friendly, the interior of the restaurant is charming and contributes to a fun atmosphere, and the food is great (not the best I’ve had, but still great). I’ll also NEVER complain about free chips & salsa.“
“Absolutely love this place! The staff is very friendly, the margaritas are great, and the food is always delicious. Some of my favorite dishes are their chile relleno, taquitos, and tacos al pastor! It’s also a fun spot for a birthday celebration!“
“There are four of us that go every Monday evening. The food is delicious; we usually have chicken or steak fajitas and frozen margaritas for $3.99 on Mondays. The staff is friendly and very attentive to needs. The restrooms are cleaner than any restaurant I've been in and they smell very good. I guarantee you will love this restaurant.P.S. if you shop Kroger Crossroads, the back of your receipt will include a $5.00 coupon.“
“Great little place for quick Mex. The guac, salsa, and queso were all really good. Small place, impressed they have both Modelo and Dos Equis Amber on draft. Plus lots of bottled beer. Some Mex joints struggle to carry good Mex beer. Recommend for a quick bite. Order at counter, food is delivered to table.“
“Friendly greeting, terrific service. Sat at a booth near the bar. The experience was great. I was not impressed with my chicken taco salad, but my husband loved his order. Salsa was good, but I didn't love the chips. Huge draft beer at a good price in a frosty mug. Service, atmosphere and location were so good I would try again.“
“I had the Lunch Fajitas, and although they were delicious, I thought the portion size was a little small (but it's lunch so...?) Everything else was very good and it is a nice, truly cozy place. The service was good and the prices were not outrageous, so I'll probably be back soon.“
“So when we went on vacation to Ohio and me and my partner ate here and yeah the food was great but the waiter we had was amazing. This was in October and I just think about him from time to time. I hope he has a good night. We had the best time and he made our night great ya know? If we ever find ourselves in Ohio again, will for sure be coming back. I wish I knew his name. He deserves everything good in the world to happen to him.“
“This place is awesome! Super fun atmosphere, food was fantastic and the margaritas taste phenomenal. The only reason I gave a 4 star review instead of 5 is because every margarita I’ve gotten comes out in a flower vase with a tiny little opening instead of a regular glass even AFTER requesting a normal glass after my first one! Not being able to stir my marg and have a lick of salt kinda ruined it for me! Other than that we had a great time!“
“Been coming here for years. My favorite Mexican place in town. Great salsa and chips (not free), great service, and more often than not, orders are cooked very well! My regular is to get Mexican flag burrito (even though it's actually the Italian flag :p) Maybe a slice of jalapeño can represent the seal on the flag.Definitely reccomend“
“Wish they were open more! Best lunch spot in fountain square. I got a chicken rice bowl with lots of toppings and the house vin. the staff is a very efficient and keeps you moving down the line quickly. They do a great job restocking and making sure everything is available and fresh. Pretty quiet in here on a Monday but they have good music!“
“This was not my first time at a Hot Head Burritos but it was my first time in a while. The Newport location was fantastic. We had 7 people in our party and we all loved our food. I had a toasted burrito. The sauce that I chose was the southwest ranch and will definitely get it again. Unlike other burrito locations, Hot Head offers a lot of sauces/flavor options. The staff were all friendly and attentive. I am glad that we chose to go there and will become regulars. Thank you for great food and service.“
“One of the best restaurants around. They have a huge menu and everything is so good. The staff is so friendly and attentive. Sometimes they have a guy who comes in and does balloon animals. The drinks are very good as well.Vegetarian options: Very delicious vegetarian. Options. The vegetarian fajitas are amazing.Kid-friendliness: Excellent kids menu with everything from burgers to tacos.Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible.“
“March 10,2024 730pm Omg I have an obsession with the guacamole I wanted 2sides and some chips but ended butOrdering the Guac chips quesadilla barbacoa and chunky salsa sour cream Guac on the side the black girl with the dreads made it omgggg that’s my new fave!!!! great job …“
“Guacamole dip is a bit lacking on flavor.Cheese dip is thick and delicious.Tacos carnitas are amazing with the dark sauce and lime, but otherwise, would also be lacking on the flavor I've come to expect from carnitas.Steak fajita was good and the veggies were perfectly cooked.Salsa is in house and very fresh!Rice is super buttery...maybe a little too much. Beans are very good and have a rich flavor.Pricing is fair on most things but a few items seem high. The service was impeccable and they are eager to please! The entire restaurant that is accessible to the public is immaculate!“
“The staff is wonderful, greet everyone as they come in. Food was very good, was my first time here and I'll tell you for the price and the amount of food you get, there is definitely no reason to go anywhere else. I will definitely be back. Much better than Chipotle or Fuego's!“
“I really enjoy this location. My first experience at the other location on the river was terrible. My taco salad was literally wet from the lettuce and soggy so I never went back. I am so glad I decided to try this location. The service is fantastic! ?? The manager or owner always waits on me for carry out orders, he is so warm, welcoming and professional. The Queso Fundido is my new favorite. It’s delicious, well made, great portions and a great value for the money. Check them out you won’t be disappointed ???Parking: Always plenty of parking close to doorWheelchair accessibility: No stairs easy to get in“
“Great Tex-Mex restaurant and bar. Good selection of beers on tap (including local craft brews). Taco Tuesdays is always a good deal. They have table service including for outdoor dining. Inside there are booths for larger groups. They usually have a DJ on weekends and also a few TVs to watch sports (or music videos).“
“My boyfriend and I have been trying to find a place for us to eat at a reasonable price and worth the price. We really underestimated this restaurant but it was so good and the burritos were bigger than what we expected and only costed us 24 dollars for the both of us❤️ We highly “
“Food is absolutely delicious!!I Would recommend the steak black bean burritos tomatoes and lettuce, cilantro, cheese and sour cream ,Would recommend beef taco salad .The staff 5 stars ? 110 % percent better than Chipotle and love the coupons!!!“
“Their chips and salsa was great. I got the shrimp Fajita. It was good, but I only had, like, 8 shrimp. It was difficult to understand the waitress. When she was ready to take our order, I asked for more salsa (party of 4) she immediately left the table, got the salsa, put it on our table then left and didn't take our order.“
