“This was a very horrible dining experience we ordered there ribeye and added there bacon jam to steak when steak came out both were missing bacon jam the waiter took off before we could tell him finally got the bacon jam on side my steak was tasteless the salad maby had 5 sprigs of cheese on it garlic vegetables almost tasteless small portions when waiter brought our bill he held it in his hand not showing us and said I will take your payment my husband said can I see bill first lol oh ya and handed it to us 85.00 the steaks were 32 00 a piece the menu in restaurant said 27.00 and on line menu said they were 26 the waiter said inflation let me get manager who said the online menu was not there’s in one breath and in next breath said said he would let them know to change it and walked off we were from Illinois visiting ark encounter it was our anniversary so I will be sure to tell everyone in Illinois if they visit Don’t eat here and I scratched out tip on receipt I always leave an 18 to 20 percent tip but not today here’s your tip you are rude and outrageously priced”

“we had a party of 6 we called ahead and still waited 30 min then we got seated and I was atleast satisfied we could sit down then it took a hour in a half to receive our food so the manager did come over and took 40 off for the inconvenience which was appreciated however when we were able to finally eat then our food was cold and my potatoes had curdled sour cream and it was completely nasty and it wasn't just my food all 6 of our food was not cooked well and was disgusting 🤢 and cold we should of had free meal as it was absolutely the worst”

“This is regarding the location inside Turfway Park Racing and Gaming in Florence Kentucky.. Husband and I wanted to come out and watch the band that was there this past Saturday night. Apparently they have a new table service 'rule' in effect. if I understand it correctly, in order to sit at a table and watch the band which doesn't start until 9:30 or later, you MUST order $50 worth of food and or drinks. After the 2 hours that you are there, if you want to stay longer, they will charge you an additional $50. Who are they to tell people how much they must spend on food and drinks? We stood outside of the railing actually in the casino and watched the band for the 1st set.. We saw a couple sitting at a small round table in front of us only order two alcoholic beverages the whole time they were there.. so you are telling me that you expect two people to sit at your table and if they are not ordering food, you expect them to spend $50 on alcohol in order to sit at the table? Unless I am misunderstanding,,, needless to say, we will never ever step foot inside of this restaurant to eat or drink.”

“I ordered take out on 2/11/25 & in the process of ordering two dinners I had an issue with my credit card that had me worried, but after speaking with the Mgr (Billy ) I nolonger was in that mindset, Billy fixed the problem and my dinners was stomach happy, will certainly return again. “Outstanding customer service. Wife and I and 1 year old grandson went to Fuji for wife's birthday dinner. Just as chef starts cooking my grandson gets ill (vomiting). Wife runs him to restroom and I get help from staff for floor. The staff assisted my wife with bringing her warm towels to clean him up bags to put dirty clothes into. Once we got him changed they helped us box our untouched meals and got us the check promptly. The staff went above and beyond to help us get our little guy cleaned and get our food prepped and out the door as we didn't want to upset other guests. My wife ate her meal at home and said it was great.”

“Turfway was nice, was able to enjoy some horse races and have some good dinner. The pretzel bites were very tasty, the nachos were huge and packed with flavor (these are thick cut chips FYI), last was the chicken fingers and fries. All mostly regular food and snacks but it was all tasty and no complaints, will go back soon and enjoy.”

The tables in certain sections are absolutely stomach churning tho. During covid they used bleach and it stripped the coating and now the tables are ALWAYS sticky. It's NASTY. Its been 5 years. I think its time to break out a peice of sand paper and replica them”

“We first stopped in to El Taco Feliz about two months after the location on 42 opened. It quickly became a favorite of ours, we now stop in as much as 4-6 times per week. Food is great, staff is friendly, it’s an awesome place, and I highly recommend it. Not only do I recommend, but it is my overall favorite restaurant in any category.”

“I love Pixi sweets! They are amazing! I am gluten free out of medical necessity and they are SO SO great about their gluten free/vegan options! Every one of their regular cupcake flavors are available gf/vegan. Every month almost all (if not all) of their monthly special cupcake flavors are gluten free. Whenever I go in and they don't have a cupcake flavor available gluten free due to ingredients they are so helpful and help create a close alternate for me. (For example every March Irish carbomb is not typically gluten free because of beer in the cupcake batter, so they dress up a gf chocolate cupcake for me with the baileys buttercream and I am in heaven!) highly recommend them for all your gf cupcake needs!”

“The owners work really hard and they stay so kind and humble, they used to only work every shift by themselves, they hired help, and let me tell you that this new worker well she might not be new, but she's new to me, and she is just as kind as the owners, I had a pickup order at Walmart and decided to come in and get some dinner, I was having a bad day and a very busy day and she absolutely made it better with her genuine kindness... I would highly recommend the subway to anyone who like subway because customer service is outstanding, something very hard to come by nowadays...keep up the good work and congratulations on hiring an employee who cares about her customers and restaurant while you aren't there?”

“Velocity’s iced lattes are a must-try! Each month they switch up the menu, offering several different flavors of house-made syrups. They clearly label vegan options & offer oat milk for drinks. They artfully take photos of each drink and post them on their Instagram page. The photos look like something out of a foodie blog or magazine. A few of my favorite specials have been the chocolate covered potato chip iced latte & the cherry cordial iced latte.”

“Found this little gem tonight. If you haven’t been…GO! I believe it is currently just take out or delivery, but take out was all we needed. First the lady who greeted me at the door was cute as a button and just as sweet! I ordered the sesame chicken, golden noodles, and crab puffs to bring home for dinner. Plenty of food for two with LOTS left over for lunch. If had A LOT of sesame chicken in my time, this was one of the BEST I’ve had! Go check them out! I only wish I would have gotten a tea!”

“Holy moly have I been missing out my entire life! We had been meaning to try Izzy’s for over a year since it is located right beside the Florence Chuck-E-Cheese that our kids enjoy going to quite frequently, but just never had went.

The Rueben is of course absolutely to die for, but the pastrami on pretzel roll is a whole another kind of amazing! We will most definitely be back! And the drive-thru employee that took our order was 110% top-notch as far as friendliness, familiarity with the menu and being able to recommend to customers who had never had an Izzy’s sandwich before! He was also super patient with my husband and myself!”

“Five Guys is a well regarded burger chain and this is its location on Mall Road in Florence. I had to get a carryout on this occasion although indoor dining options were available at the time I went here albeit at a limited capacity. They're a very traditional, no frills joint in that they do burgers and fries and not a ton else (they do have delicious hot dogs although I didn't get one this time.) Any burgers are their game and theirs are definitely one of the best. Although they a very extensive toppings list fkr you to choose from to put on your burger I went with only ketchup, mustard, cheese, and hot sauce. The meat is very high quality and is where all of the flavour is at. Juicy and cooked to absolute perfection it was the perfect patty. The condiments I chose supported it very well including the hot sauce which tasted like Frank's Red Hot or at least something very similar to that. It was fantastic. Unfortunately with my long trip between Five Guys and my house my fries ended up being soggy and disappointing. That's by no means their fault and I'll say right here that their fries are some of the best and most plentiful but you gotta eat them at the restaurant while their still hot. In any case the food was delicious and the staff were friendly and efficient so a very good carryout experience from Five Guys in Florence.”

“It had been over 10 years since I had been to a Golden Corral Buffet so it was high time that came back. They specialize in homestyle type of cooking. There were some good things and some not so good things that I tried off of their bar. They have a very good salad bar of which I made my "unsalad" (toppings with no lettuce). They have an excellent ranch dressing. I tried a hot dog and a piece of pizza both of which I found to be subpar. However their bbq chicken and shrimp were both excellent and there were some pretty decent sides including but not limited to stuffing and hashbrown casserole. They also have a very good dessert bar featuring many toppings for ice cream. Unfortunately I do have to say our service wasn't the greatest as our drink cups remained empty for most of the meal. Like I said some good and some bad, I do want to come back and try some stuff that I didn't try on this occasion.”

“The food was accurate and delicious. We got take out as we usually do. They were very busy so I decided to go in, both to get my good quicker and be considerate since they were so busy. The ladies at the hostess counter were going through the bags receipts seeing who tipped and who didn't and proceeded to say they would keep those that didn't tip waiting. Now I'm not fully against tip culture, but this didn't seem right to keep people waiting indefenitly or serving them cold food just because they may not have tipped. Just wanted to warn other people who may be ordering carey out and wondering why everyone else got their food before them.”

It was a mystery and then when we opened it it was cheesesteak and it was Oreo cheesecake. So that was yummy. And I had the hot dog and it was fine. I also had fries which were pretty good. They had this cool display of license plates from other states. and their drinks were really good. I had Pepsi which was nice and the tables were clean so that was good. That's why I recommend you eat here.”

“Got Bourbon chicken, egg roll and some dumplings for later. The atmosphere is alright, nothing fancy but not the ugliest or worse looking place I've been in, very quite. It's hard to rate service since that can change day by day but for me I waited over 30 minutes to get any of my food (only 1 person ahead of me) and the lady taking my order was very nice. For the food; the dumplings where very good, the egg roll was a lot smaller than what I was expecting but pretty much what you'd expect and the rice was good too. The bourbon chicken was tender and delicious however I would have perfered more sauce on it or it swimming in it as it was a bit dry and needed it. All in all out of all the Chinese restaurants I've had this one would make the top 10 but not my top 5.”

“Chuy's continues to be one of our go to's for awesome Tex-Mex cuisine. The restaurant looks so fun and the people have been so nice to us and that was definitely no different this time. On this occasion I got their Steak Burrito which was stuffed with steak, Jack cheese, and Hatch Green Chile sauce. The steak and cheese was excellent with great flavour cooked into the steak. The Hatch Green Chile sauce however was a bit disappointing with it being advertised as being spicy but lacked both spice or really any flavour at all. Even so the the steak and cheese did make up for the shortcomings of the sauce for me. The Mexican rice was excellent as well. All in all another great visit to Chuy's.”

The customer service is above and beyond, like nothing you’ve ever seen before, they are super friendly and treat you like you’re a guest in their home. They have a question of the day you answer it and the answer and table number is called out and that’s when you know your order is ready. They make it fun! Their cinnamon biscuits are out of this world. I’m from NJ so biscuits to me are not my thing until I had these and the Manager Mike is super cool, humble and awesome! You can tell he treats his employees with the utmost respect because every single employee was amazing, friendly, down to earth it was a wonderful start of our day!”

“This Culver’s is good. I do recommend it. However, tonight when we went through the line, we sat for about 10-15 minutes before getting to place our order then waited an additional 15 at the window for our order. John, who is a teenager— was the only employee taking orders and apparently making those orders as well. He was friendly at the window to us and didn’t appear to be in a bad mood. There were other employees working with him, yet it appeared he was getting zero help from them. We could hear from the drive through window that there were female employees laughing and carrying on in the background. It’s clear that they were not helping with the drive through one bit. Keep in mind, the dining area was completely empty… I really feel bad for John, he was quite literally working alone and the drive through was pretty busy. Whoever else was “working” with him should be written up.”

“We stopped by Poseidon’s Pizza on a Sunday afternoon while we were in the area and were surprised to find out they are delivery and carry-out only. The staff was very friendly and helped guide us through the menu, which we appreciated.

We ordered a Chicago deep dish veggie pizza and a thin pepperoni hot honey pizza. The veggie pizza had good flavors in the sauce and toppings, but the crust was a bit dried out. On the other hand, the thin pepperoni hot honey pizza was absolutely delicious!

Overall, it was a good experience, and we’d definitely come back for the pepperoni hot honey pizza.”

“Went through the drive thru, ordered and asked for a large water also. They wanted to charge me for a large drink for water. Really! I would understand $1, but $3 is excessive for water. This has been an issue apparently the young lady who was very nice made sure to ask me if I wanted water for $3+. I declined. I didn’t say anything and I don’t like to give a bad review. But that is price gauging at its finest. Do better Gold Star. I work in a restaurant and we give every customer water that comes in. It’s complementary because it’s WATER.”

“Consistent as with most other locations. Cashier was new and in training. Person who brought out the food was super nice. Very clean and fast service. A couple of minutes from the interstate, long lights are a thing in Florence. Overall everything you expect from Chick-fil-A. Faster than most other locations, much faster. Didn't eat in the dining room, wasn't crowded, but it was new years day.

“I hadn't been to a Fazoli's un a long while so it was high time we returned. Their breadsticks continue to head up my Best Breadstick lust as the garlic flavour along with the size and texture put them right at the top for me. They're also endless as long as you're getting a meal and eating in the dining room. They've got some really good pasta dishes that I've talked about in past reviews but on this occasion I went with a sub and some boneless wings. The sub was a Classic Meatball one with the meatballs, marinara sauce, pepperoni and of course tons of mozzarella. It was a little ugly to look at but is sure tasted delicious. The boneless wings I got Hot which was a Buffalo sauce with a small bit of kick. They were quite good and a lot better than I would expect from a fast food Italian restaurant. Really good flavour even if they weren't that spicy (could be just my spice pallette too. I sometimes don't taste the spice when others do.) The service was top notch and the store was clean which wasn't always the case in the past. A very tasty and affordable lunch at Fazolis.”
