“We dined at a P.F. Chang's in Kentucky and had a mostly good experience! The Mongolian beef and Teriyaki chicken were incredibly flavorful and cooked to really good. However, the rice was surprisingly bland and lacked seasoning.
Our server was friendly, but unfortunately, he got our orders mixed up. This led to us getting two of the same dish, we were so hungry we ate them because we could not be bothered to wait anymore. He apologized, though.
On the bright side, the price was very reasonable for the generous portions we received. Overall, the food quality and value made up for the minor service mishap.
I'd suggest that the server pay closer attention to order details and revamp the brown and white rice recipe. Otherwise, P.F. Chang's remains a solid choice for those craving tasty Asian-inspired cuisine.“

“Today, I decided to try China Dragon for lunch, a local spot for Chinese takeout in Louisville, KY. I ordered delivery, and the experience was fairly straightforward.
The food had the right balance of sweet and spicy, although it leaned more toward the sweet side, which might not be everyone's preference but worked for me. The chicken pieces were crispy on the outside but tender inside, just the way I like it. The fried rice was flavorful, with a decent mix of veggies and egg, and not overly greasy. The egg rolls were crunchy and packed with vegetables, making for a satisfying bite.
One small downside was the portion size of the chicken—it was good, but I would have liked a bit more meat for the price. Overall,“

“This is kind of a weird spot. Looking in, you would think they are remodeling as there are 2 tables, and the rest of the dining area is completely open. Nothing to do with anything it just looked weird upon walking in.
I ordered coconut chicken, 2 pork egg rolls, an order of crab Rangoon, and a small chicken fried rice. For the price, this place is amazing. It was around 30 dollars, but the chicken is a huge portion, and it came with what appears to be a pound of chicken fried rice. The crab Rangoon were delicious, and the pork egg roll was decent. Egg rolls could have probably used about another minute in the fryer. The coconut chicken isn't on the menu from what I saw, and it's one of my favorite Chinese food items. It's nice to find a place that actually sells it.
The parking situation isn't ideal. Maybe there is more parking in the back and I just wasn't paying attention, but the front lot is small, and it's right on Taylor.
But all in all, I will be back just for the coconut chicken. Stop in and give it a shot. Don't let the appearance fool you.
Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options for vegetarians.
Parking: The lot is rather small. Fortunately, I was the only customer at the moment I went. But I could see it being rough if there are a few cars there. May be parking in the rear. I didn't check.“

“This is mostly a take-out place. There's a few places I guess you could sit, but you'll be staring at a wall.
I got a large order of veggie lo-mien. It had a nice selection of vegetables, and wasn't too sweet, salty or oily like so many Asian places have gotten.
They asked if I wanted any sauces, which I appreciate, since I never do, and I hate unnecessarily throwing away the 12 - 20 packets that most places dump in the bag.
Parking: The parking lot is small, but you can park in the shoppig center lot right behind and take the steps down to the restaurant.“

“I got General Tso's chicken and fried rice. I asked for it extra spicy and they didn't play any games with how spicy they made it: for reference, I dip tortillas in habanero hot sauce for a snack. But they offer it non-spicy if you ask.
Sometimes with chicken from chinese restaurants you have to toss a few pieces of gristle; not here. All the chicken they served me was tender and moist. Fried rice was the same, everything was well-cooked. Taste was great as well.
Parking: It is tucked back inside of a dip in the strip mall store fronts so you may miss it when driving by.“

“We’ve loved Yen Ching for at least 15 years. The food is awesome and the staff are friendly and welcoming. We have tried the tofu with vegetables in garlic sauce, Mongolian beef, and beef with vegetables in garlic sauce. Wonton soup and Crab rangoon are the best around! Highly recommend this place! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“We ordered two entrees from Door Dash. A completely different entree was sent instead of one of the ones ordered. We called the restaurant and they worked with Door Dash to make it right. They went above and beyond, making sure that we had extras and we knew how sorry they were for the mistake. Door Dash took quite awhile to deliver it but that wasn’t Happy Dragon’s fault. Emphasis is certainly on the Happy part at Happy Dragon. Thank you all for caring! Also, the bourbon chicken is delicious!“

“***UPDATE*** 1-21-2024After moving to Elizabethtown and back again. The food here is still better than anything they had there. The crab rangoon is still the best I've ever had, with plenty of crab flavor. The prices are hard to beat. One thing, the chicken fried rice did have a little too much oil flavor..like old oil.(unless its a spice im not placing).not a fan. Egg Foo young was delicious and chicken on a stick.I live right down the street from this place. I take my children there all the time. The food is delicious, and always fresh! They cook to order, its not something thats been sitting around back there forever. There is no buffet, so i have no idea what the other reviewer is talking about. Its always clean, and so are the restrooms(who cares what they look like as long as they are clean). The crab rangoon is fantastic! If you want great chinese food in the southend this is the place to go!“

“I was honestly impressed with this place. Typically hole in the wall Chinese places are hit or miss, this place is a hit. I was really impressed with the general tso chicken and the crab ragoons. The spicy option is actually spicy which is nice. I would highly recommend this place!“

“I’ve been eating here since there were Oscars and other fish in the wall! I’m talking early 2000’s, if you know you know. This place has always been the GO-TO spot! And if you like spicy, you MUST get that Hot Braised Chicken Combo Plate. They never disappoint, all the way down to their egg drop soup.“

“This place has been my go-to & favorite place for fast Chinese food! I've literally been a loyal patron of theirs for over a decade. They provide the kindest service and I've always treated us with the utmost respect. Service like this is dying out these days. You will always be greeted with a smile and warmed by it.As for the food in my opinion it's one of the best Louisville has to offer and they don't get enough credit for that! The restaurant is always clean and maintained with direct sight to the kitchen. The kids love to watch them cook.I hope they have many years ahead and prosperous ones at that! And China 1, if you ever read this, thank you for all you do!
Vegetarian options: They have no issue making almost any dish vegetarian.
Dietary restrictions: If you have any dietary restrictions that would be glad to make your food in an alternative way for you.
Parking: Plenty of open parking it's in a small strip mall.
Kid-friendliness: Pretty much warm smiles, they offer Chinese cookies on their menu, and pretty much always happy to see the little ones Ttrot in with their parents.
Wheelchair accessibility: Just roll on in and have some great food someone will always be there to hold the door for you too if you need it.“

“Their fried rice is good, but seemed extra salty. Friendly staff and clean, but not much going on inside. I've been wanting to go here for a while, but have trouble with their hours and when I usually get carryout. I'll give them another try soon.
Parking: The lot is on a busy corner without a dedicated turning lane, so be patient.“

“Food was from the wok fresh & hot, veggies perfectly crisp-tender. I only ordered small portion--with rice, it was the perfect size for one hungry person. Plenty of tasty veggies, not overly sauced. I ate in but imagine food is equally good to go. Only two or three tables as most of the business is to go. Very reasonably priced.
Vegetarian options: Assumed veegetarian optipns were there because it was Chinese restaurant. Lots of delicious veggies included in non-vegetarian dishes
Parking: Parking is in large lot for next door Kroger. Always spaces.“

“Best Asian food that i have had since moving to Kentucky in 2011! When others are way overpriced, this place was very reasonable in price and well worth what i paid. “The food is Great! The food is Great because they cook the order as it comes in, So it is not as fast as other fast food pick up's. Still they do have a drive through. It is worth the extra 5 minutes for this food.

“This is my most favorite restaurant. I wish they would get on to doordash so I could have it delivered across the bridge to Jeffersonville Indiana. When I worked downtown Louisville at Humana we would eat there at least three times a week. All of the employees loved this restaurant. Please consider going on to doordash. I am disabled and cannot drive anymore so I cannot go to the greatest restaurant in Kentucky or Southern indiana. Thank you“

“They are the best Chinese food in my area. They are not shy with giving veggies with your meal like some of the others. They have a very wide variety of veggies as well. The flavor of their sauces will not disappoint either. Very friendly service and very helpful if you need to change something. All and all I promise you this place is great. It is worth giving it a try if you already haven’t.“

“I discovered this place in 2017 and have ordered food many many times. It is always ready quickly, tastes great, and my order is ALWAYS right. It’s more of a take out place than anything, but they do have a few tables/booths for dine-in. Nothing bad at all to say about the food or service.“

“Nice selection of food, we really enjoyed our time there. The crab rangoons where very full with cream cheese mixture which my kids were so happy they had so much filling. I was happy to see the corn fritter thing's not sure of the name but not everywhere has those and I love those. The jalapeno beef was my favorite, and the chicken teriyaki skewers were amazingly tender. The server never said a word even when I would say thank you, it's fine I still tipped but not as much as I would have had she bothered to speak. Great place we will definitely be back!!!!“

“Chinese food with fast and friendly service. I order the General Tso chicken combo extra extra spicy w/ fried rice. It's good if you like an enjoyable level of heat. I would highly recommend it as well as the Honey and Orange chicken. Other combo meals I'd recommend are the pepper steak, moogoo gai pan, or the Mongolian beef. The crab ragoons, pan fried dumplings, and egg rolls are all great choices. Their egg drop soup is really good too. Remember to ask for extra extra spicy.
(The yum yum and dynamite rolls are 🔥🔥)“

“I have only had take out from here I have to give a neutral rating for atmosphere. I can say however is that the food and service are great. I normally get an couple of quarts of hot sour soup which I take home and eat on for a couple of days. I have had HS soup from a number of eateries across Louisville. This is the best; very thick, rich and chunky.“

“I’ve worked in this same plaza for a year and just tried this place tonight! My party ordered take out to share including orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, spring rolls, fried rice, rangoon & wings. “Everything we've ordered here has been delicous. Bourbon chicken is 10/10, sauce is so good. Hot braised chicken is made just they made it at that great little Chinese takeout place on Broadway back in the 80s-90s. Oriental Star still has the big eggrolls. Seems like all of the restaurants serve teeny-tiny eggrolls with a stingy amount of cabbage. Call in your order and it's ready in about 15mins. Lunch special is two meals for me. Egg foo yung lunch special is three meals! Restaurant is tidy but we always get takeout. Never had a wrong order in 10+ years. ❤️❤️❤️ Love this restaurant!❤️❤️❤️“

“My absolute favorite Chinese Food place. Lots of take out orders filled, which allows for the few tables to remain available. It's my go to for a quite dinning experience with amazingly flavorful food. My favorite dish is the Hunan Shrimp with broccoli, snow peas and carrots only. It never disappoints! The staff is always friendly and accommodating with requests. I'm heading that way for lunch, delicious! Highly recommended! ?
Vegetarian options: The vegetables are fresh and prepared well. Highly recommend!“

“This place is what it is. It’s typical Chinese takeout with a few. Tables to eat at. That said food here is wonderful. I’ve been a frequent customer for years. I usually get the typical dishes. While talking to one of the guys from the kitchen, I discovered Singapore Chow Mei Fun. I got this on recommendation and tell you it was one of the best things I’ve ever put my mouth. With chicken and shrimp mixed with rice noodles plus the other things and lightly seasoned with curry. I’m not a fan of curry, but all this together was absolutely wonderful. This will be my go to order going forward.“

“They had an A rating on the glass window and other than a table that needed cleaning up, it was fine from all I could see; bathroom included. Had the mixed vegetables in brown sauce with white rice and really enjoyed it.The vegetables were served in their own container with a top in it to keep hot. The rice was on a Styrofoam place of its own.Unfortunately, when we each ordered water, we weren't initially told they had no machine or tap water as their soft drink dispenser was broken. We paid for bottled water. He was nice enough to let me have a second bottle as I drink a lot of H2O these days. Would definitely go back if in the area.
Parking: Shopping center lot so lots of it available.“

“Been getting take out from here for awhile and always pleased with our order. Hot and fresh with plenty of food. Not sure why the poor reviews. Tried sweet and sour chicken for the first time here and it was good. There was mostly meat rather than breading so that was a positive. General Tso Chicken was good as usual. I would like to see vegetables in both the entrees and pineapple in the sweet and sour but that is a personal preference. I have never eaten in but it looks like maybe they have updated the interior a bit?“

“Ok I was torn between a 4-star and 5-star review but with the generosity of the servings, the 5-star win.
We ordered soups (they were simple and ok), chicken pad Thai, pork belly, schewan chicken and spicy shrimp.
The shrimp was my favorite, cooked well and tast. The pad Thai was a little dry but better when I was able to mix it (the dish was packed full) I thought the pork belly was the best flavor. Overall very enjoyable and even more so, good sized servings.“

“Amazing food with authentic Szechuan spices. Very unique experience here. We got the Pork mapo tofu, refreshing fungus (black wood ear braised in chili oil), and jelly noodles. My favorite was the fungus, don't overlook it! Pork options were excellent too with succulent flavor. Servers were kind and knowledgeable of offering and patiently suggested us options based on our preferences. Get the hot tea/hot water with the Szechuan spices, much more palatable and refreshing that way.“
