“Celebrated my birthday at Holly Hill. Staff was so kind and attentive. Had a beautiful 3 course meal with wine pairing. Then we decided to add the cheese plate. The local cheeses- especially Kenny’s were amazing. The sunchoke bisque with carrot top pesto was SO good! Pacing of service was great too. Such a warm, inviting little retreat!”
“The best. Heirloom has been consistently the best restaurant since 2006. It never disappoints. Lexington has great restaurants but Midway is the quintessential KY town and Heirloom is the Midway gem. Gretchen never disappoints with the superb service.”
“Charming coffee shop on main stop in Midway. Cozy exposed brick walls and a fireplace! I had a Chai and it was delicious! Definitely a recommended stop if you’re in Midway!”
“Don't take the lower atmosphere rating fool you ... this is still a great place to visit. They're just more of a take out kind of place, with inside seating for about 8. In good weather, you can sit on the patio out back. The food is typically fantastic. I had a ham (country), egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on an English muffin today. They did not disappoint!Parking: Most parking is in a lot, lower from the entrance and off to the side. They technically have handicap parking, but not sure you'd want to bring a wheelchair.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love the sweets, but with limited seating inside and no visible high chairs, maybe not a great place to stop and eat.Dining in could be different with eating outside. There are some old play equipment installations outside from when it was a school.Wheelchair accessibility: Technically yes, but limited, and not without difficulty. The bathroom I think would NOT be wheelchair accessible.”
“Got married over the weekend, had the Spotz truck come out to the venue to serve our guests. What a hit it was! Had four unique flavors that everyone raved about. Prompt, courteous, professional. Thanks so much for making our big day even better!”
“I always love the food here. The menu is never same ols, run of the mill. Everything I have eaten here ranges from very good to omg so delicious! My favorite is salmon BLT. We drive from Frankfort just found out one opened in Frankfort. Next time!”
“Seemed like a nice place. Good staff , nice setting. Prices weren't too bad. ... however, when you pay $30-$45 for a steak. It should be well above the quality of a $15 Applebee's steak. And if should be cooked as ordered. I understand it's not a $80 + steak but when you order medium rare and it comes out black/gray throughout, it's waaay overcooked. Would have sent it back but was there for lunch and didn't have time to deal with it. Wasn't horrible, but wasn't worth the extra distance or cost. Hope to try again.”
“We came for dinner on the patio. The patio was open, and the service was excellent. We had the shrimp bruchetta appetizer with the and filet special. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be returning to try other menu items!”
“We showed up late on a Monday night, hour before close. And yet the kitchen came out with 2 killer main dishes with extraordinary flavors, 2 salads prepared with stellar presentation paired with warm and friendly service. Will be back for more, they seem to have a good pizza menu.”
“This McDonald's has consistently been the highest quality McDonald's in the area for the past few years. Every time I go there I always get exactly what I ordered and the staff are usually very friendly. Of course you must consider that this review is based solely on the service of this location as all McDonald's have the same taste more or less. This location, however, has always prepared my meal to high McDonald's standards... As high as they can get at least lol.”
“The service was top notch. The young man was very polite and the establishment was clean. I will definitely return to this location. For the most part the food was top notch. ? This visit to a subway was probably by far one of the best experiences I have had at a restaurant in a while. Customer service still has a way to go to be back at what it once was.Vegetarian options: They have plenty of options available to choose from.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is accessible by wheelchair.”
“The best Japanese restaurant I’ve eaten at. The food was outstanding!! Adam was awesome - he was friendly, attentive, and gave us the best suggestions!! Our favorite of the evening was the xoomer sushi with wagyu beef, crab, shrimp, avocado and cream cheese! I wish this restaurant was near us but unfortunately we live in Raleigh, NC!”
“Dad's Favorite Deli offers some of the best sandwiches and beer cheese-like spreads in Kentucky! With so many options to suit about any taste in your family, you can't go wrong with the Asiago Pot Roast sandwich and take home a tub of Green Chili Jack cheese spread to snack on with some crackers!”
“Food was fresh and absolutely amazing. Probably the best Indian food I’ve had in Lex. Also super quiet eating experience and friendly staff. Affordable as well!”
“Coming thru from Cleveland, Ohio it's was well worth the stop! We sampled pretty much everything, and it was all very good! Bacon wrapped Hotdogs as a special were a hit, Mac and cheese, beans, coleslaw as sides didn't last with the kids. Brisket, pull pork and ribs all great as well! Washed down with some raspberry lemonade with a splash of sweat tea!”
“This is the best restaurant in USA, and iv been to many Mediterranean restaurants all across Amrica, they have the best food quality and the best service. Once u try their falafels, you will never like anyone elses! Meat is fresh and incredibly good. mashAllah ♥️”
“This is not the first time that I've eaten here, but it was unique. Somehow, my ticket was lost, so after seeing a couple of people that arrived after me receive their orders, I went to the window. The man promptly made my order and made it right by adding an extra patty to the Classic burger that I ordered and gave me some of their burger sauce to dip my fries in.It's the best burger around, including Lexington. The only issue I have with the atmosphere is that there is not enough outdoor seating, but I understand that there's only so much real estate on their corner of the lot. I send everyone here and will continue to, as well as eat here every time that I'm in Georgetown.”
“The best Fish-dish I've had in some time, John Dorey... the entire always makes it a great night. They're truly the best in the greater Lexington Area! Blessing to have this great restaurant here...”
“Hidden Gem alert!! First off- the prices are an incredible value. My son and I stopped by early to watch the horses train and stumbled across this amazing place. The staff are so friendly and the food is exactly what you want on a crisp spring morning. They are here to provide food for the many folks of Keenland, but we were welcomed and felt right at home dining. If you are a horse aficionado or just a novice the restaurant had picture of horses and jockeys scattered on the walls and a rich history of Keenland.Don't let the nice price fool ya...this is southern cooking at its finest!!Vegetarian options: They have different options.Dietary restrictions: They make orders fresh so this is easy to accommodateParking: East parking access.Kid-friendliness: They are kiddo friendly and have high chairs.Wheelchair accessibility: Standard accessibility”
“What a gem. This lovely restaurant is close to Castle and Key distillery, right on the river. The food was plentiful, delicious and perfectly prepared. Also had a bourbon flight, which is so much easier than driving to multiple distilleries.”
“Heard about these owners selling mi Mexico new something was different with the taste of the food at mi Mexico so we learned they bought a new restaurant so we went tonight food was awesome so glad we went so happy to get the flavors back”
“This was my first time at El Tapatio since moving to Versailles. They did not disappoint!!!The service there was Awesome, the young lady was very nice, and kept my water glass filled (love not having to ask for more water). It has your typical Hispanic restaurant vibes, however they did have nice long horn skulls hanging up!The food was great, my whole family enjoyed all their dishes! They have a green habanero hot sauce that complimented my taco salad perfectly! If you are in Versailles stop in at El Tapatio if you are in the mood for Mexican food!!!”
“Lots of options but the ordering is wonky. A person takes your order and then you drive up a few feet and wait awkwardly while someone else makes your drink. I have liked all drinks I've had, though, including the flavored sparkling water. We didn't love the shakes, though, but everything else was good.”
“My food was delivered hot and delicious. The service was great too. I've never had a negative experience here. Consistently awesome.Parking: Plenty of free parking spaces.”
“I would just like to say thank you for offering a free meal for Veterans tonight. It was my first time eating there and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. I love the atmosphere, inside upstairs or downstairs, outside courtyard or pavilion, there's a place for anyone to feel comfortable. Thanks again!”
“Bourbon Bliss with a Side of Hospitality! My recent visit to this establishment left me thoroughly impressed with its exceptional bourbon selection, inviting ambiance, and pleasant staff.First and foremost, let's talk bourbon - it was nothing short of great! Each sip was a symphony of flavors, expertly crafted to perfection. Whether you're a seasoned bourbon aficionado or just starting to explore the world of whiskey, you're sure to find something to delight your palate here. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, setting the perfect backdrop for enjoying your drink of choice. Whether you're flying solo or with a group of friends, you'll feel right at home in this cozy setting.Last but certainly not least, the staff. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with smiles and attentive service. They were knowledgeable about the bourbon selection and happy to offer recommendations based on my preferences.Overall, my experience at this establishment was nothing short of delightful. If you're in search of great bourbon, a welcoming atmosphere, and friendly staff, look no further - this place has it all!”
“I live in Lexington and eat at all the fancy steak places frequently (Malone's, Jeff Ruby's, Tony's, etc) but I still love Cattleman's! I drive up to Georgetown just to get the Friday/Saturday special Sirloin and salad bar. I normally only eat Filet but that Sirloin is very good with the teriyaki glaze and it's a great deal. Paige was my server and she is phenomenal .”
“the absolute best tacos ever. i always ask to add cheese to mine, and they are always so delicious :) by far the best taco place in town, mainly bc the ingredients are so fresh and always perfect! i have been here around 45 times at this point and i can confidently recommend to anyone! everyone who works here is so kind as well, they make the experience a good one and service is always quick!”
“I've been wanting to stop in for awhile and finally had some time to do it today. Now I'm upset for how long it's taken me. Everything was perfect. The inside of the bakery is decorated so cute! It is almost Easter and there were so many beautiful decorations. And even though it was late in the day there was still lots of options and some of the biggest cookies I've ever seen! We ended up getting a white chocolate and raspberry cupcake, a strawberry cupcake, the burger of the month cupcake and a key lime pie. All the cupcakes didn't make it home. They were airy, light and moist. They almost melted when you ate them. And the key lime pie is everything you could ever want in one. Perfect mix of tart and sweet. The lady working the front was so kind and patient. So glad we stopped in.”
“Don Jockey is such a cultural and gastronomical contribution to a town like Midway. They are true ambassadors of Mexican hospitality and cuisine. The owner, Jorge, works side by side with the staff, delivering a welcoming and personalized experience. The Blackened Chicken Sandwich and the Carne Asada are a must-have!"”
