“A Southern classic. Wonderful, welcoming staff.Mixed review on the food:1. We had the shrimp and grits, which were a bit disappointing: underseasoned and overcooked shrimp over soupy grits.2. On the good side, the biscuits were flaky, and the coffee was perfect.Next time I'd stick with the breakfast basics like eggs and ham/bacon/sausage.Rock on, Victor's! See you again soon.“
“This place was a hidden gem! Thankfully someone local recommended it to us. The staff was so welcoming, the food portions were large to say the least, and prices very reasonable. The shrimp omelette sounded so unique I had to try it and it did not disappoint. And hey, if you order a biscuit, they are like a mini cake - I have never seen such a large biscuit! Clean and family friendly.“
“This place was fantastic! Terin was super helpful in helping me find a gluten free option not on the menu. The chef whipped up an incredible gluten free meal on the spot. Super impressed and grateful for the extent of their service. Most places wouldn't go to lengths like this for a "difficult" customer.“
“We love Huya! Since day 1, my family & friends meet here after work to decompress from the day, when visitors pass through town, and on a Saturday morning just to catch up! Their service is always friendly, and their homestyle food is always warm and inspired. The coffee though—their coffee is brewed to perfection, no matter how you order it: americano, V60 pour over, Aeropress, frozen…you name it, and they brew it to perfection. They have new seasonal drinks to try, too! Thanks for creating such a cozy coffee experience in Youngsville.“
“tried the chicken fried steak and the meatball stew plates today. I preferred the chicken fried steak. only complaint I had about it was I would have liked a bigger portion. It tasted very good. came with corn and mashed potatoes with a. white gravy. satisfied for a small lunch.“
“It is like a Third-Eye-Wide-Shut party in a pirate ship in the space crash landed in the middle of downtown and opened a bar/restaurant that actually has good coffee. They come in Peace behind the bar over here ✌️ Try the loaded fries Top secret info on the street: they have good Sauv Blanc.“
“Awesome place for breakfast and lunch. The atmosphere is welcoming and chill. I love the decor, and it seems there's been something unique, some pretty lights on a festive display for example, every time I visit. Love their egg and cheese croissant, so fresh! Also tried their wrap minus the wrap and must say it was an excellent way to get my veggies. Everything was prepared with care and out quickly enough for me to get back and enjoy it during my lunch break. Thanks for being here!“
“Not only does this place have amazing wraps they also have the BEST supplements. The owner is the nicest person. He’s very well educated in all things nutrition and supplements. I am so glad I found this store and know I’m buying clean products. I love the pre-workout mixes and variety of protein powers! Thanks for having so many options and being such a great health store!“
“We were visiting and happened to stumble upon this cafe. You can’t run to this place fast enough… by far the best breakfast I have ever had! The staff was amazing and they give you a special “small town” feel! I can’t say enough to express how great this cafe is. The Bayou Boudin Biscuit is amazing!“
“Arrivé un dimanche midi dans une ville déserte. Les avis m indiquent ce resto et je comprends pourquoi !!! En plus du menu traditionnel le dimanche vous pouvez prendre « a sunday plate » avec un choix de viandes et de légumes le tout pour un prix modique. C était excellent. La photo ne rend pas service au plat, les saveurs étaient folles.“
“This was our 2nd time visiting & the food never disappoints. Of course, I had my hot chocolate that was gone before my food came out LOL I had city grits, scrambled eggs, andouille sausage & pancakes. My friend had shrimp & grits, the Hey Lucy Omellette with breakfast potatoes!! We couldn't finish everything & fixed a to-go box. The service would've gotten 5 stars, but our wait for a 2-person seating was more than an hour. That's my only negative.“
“*Still love this place. I eat from or at Le Cafe at least twice a month. Catfish is still all you can eat if you can find a seat. And its still my favorite catfish . *Le Cafe has a tiny seating area, however the food is nearly amazing, if you like downhome fried food. The portions are huge, the fried catfish is seemingly endless...if you get all you can eat...“
“Best place to eat in town!!! I got the BBQ chicken it was the best I’ve had in a long time. Love the homemade pies! Really good vibe and it family owned. Very kindhearted people!!! The Mac and cheese was one of the best I’ve had at restaurant. And I finished the whole plate! ?“
“I go to Moore's almost every Monday to get his smothered sausage with rice and gravy and white beans. It is simply the best I've ever had. BBQ is great, spaghetti is great, smothered meatballs are great.... yes, it's all good. You will NOT be disappointed.“
“If you are looking for great comfort food this is the place for you! A soul food lunch counter. I had the fried pork chop with rice and gravy and mashed potatoes with gravy and white beans. Everything was seasoned well and prepared with love. Plenty of gravy, I was able to cover my rice with it. No plain rice kernels we’re had. Loved it! I hate it when places give white rice with gravy and there’s not enough to go around. The customer service was great as well. They know their regulars and make sure everyone enjoyed their meals. I will definitely come back. Very nice people who know how to work together to get things done.“
“The service was good. The lady that took my order and made my drink helped me make decisions on flavors based on my preferences of sweet or sour and different flavors like coconut, strawberry, etc. she even offered to make me another drink if I didn't like the one I ordered.I'm not new to loaded teas but it's something about this one. There's gives me more koolaid vibes than tea. They don't use herbal life, which I'm used, but it's still good. They use a blend of real teas instead. Also it doesn't have an aftertaste like herbal life so that's a plus. I'm not a fan of southern paradise but it's still palatable.I expected the pretzel to be like auntie Annie's because of the name. It's not overly sugary and it's good. Doesn't make you feel like you will go into a sugar coma the icing is also good but it's cold and thick so I would suggest you ask for them to warm it.Update: the loaded tea takes a minute to kick in but when it does?! I feel very energized now than I did all day. Loaded tea: 7/10Pretzel: 6/10“
“This was my first time dining here. I had the Portobello sandwich and it was so good. I would ask for a different side other than chips if they offer. I wasn't in the mood for tortilla chips so wasted most. Service was prompt. Nice atmosphere.“
“A little worried as we were the only people here (but it was 10:30 on a Monday morning)....but the quick service and delicious food were perfect! My French toast could not have been better! A thick and custard-y center with fat slices of French bread cooked perfectly! His biscuits and gravy were also great, thick sausage patties atop a split biscuit covered in gravy with side of thick cut potatoes. Make this your stop for breakfast; we are so glad we came here!!“
“This is a quaint restaurant in the middle of Broussard. There is a nice sitting area under large oak tree. Food is always delicious. You can wait a little while, even if you call in an order as it is popular. I recommend checking it out. No alcohol is served but if you want to bring your bottle of wine and enjoy their yard, you can.“
