AWESOME DONUTS. I typically take a dozen doughnuts every week for the guys at work. I started going there by accident. I was going to another very popular doughnut shop on Lafayette. Forgot to stop and went to Cajun Doughnuts instead because it was OTW. Glad I did! I haven't been to the other place since. Kolaches are excellent also! Thank me later.
Okay, let me preface this review: I'm a huge proponent of small businesses, so much so, that I'll spend some serious coins to show my support. That said, I'm sorry, I was hoping I'd love this place as most of the locals do but it's a no for me. I thought I was pulling in to a Meche's donuts and noticed the name change. Not having time to go to another location I decided to go in anyway. To my surprise, they were much better than Meche's! Even my co-workers came asking me where I purchased these from, they were delicious. They are not nearly as greasy and the service is great. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and wore his smile. I really enjoyed my experience and will be back!
