“We went to Latils Landing during their winter menu. The food was absolutely one of the top 5 meals I've ever had. And that's saying something as I have been all over the world eating great food. The grouper with wild mushrooms was positively sublime. The lobster and sweet potato bisque with truffle oil was a surprising hit. The use of warm water lobster rather than cold water lobster was inspired. The sweet potato needed no additional sweetness and the lobster added a nice texture to the bisque. The waigu beef rib was positively succulent and tender in a way only properly prepared waigu can be. And the balance of salt, spices, and acids was perfect. I will return when the spring menu starts. I'm curious if the chef can keep this level of gustatory performance up.”

“Overall it was great. I highly recommend making this a regular thing, not just a great meal, but the experience of an incredible garden and grounds that nothing else can beat. The Turtle bar is a must, they have most every type of high end alcohol that exists. The only improvement needed is the wait staff. There's enough staff, they are simply inexperienced and young. Overall, still worth the experience.”

“This is one of my favorite restaurants. "Restaurant" is not the right word. "Experience" would be more accurate. I'll start with food. On the menu there is a pumpkin crawfish bisque that when I initially saw that combo I turned my nose up at it but decided to give it a try. I am so glad that I did - unlike anything I've ever had! I'm always so torn. Trying to decide what to get. For a first time, or I would have to insist on the eggplant Napoleon. It's piled high with so much lump crab meat. I don't know how they offer it for the price it is. But the pork chop with the sweet potato, mash and brussels sprouts... OMG! The service is always great! You're given a basket of breads and biscuits for the table with a couple of butter options. The butter with the Steen's syrup is my favorite. on our last visit, we were celebrating a birthday. The birthday girl was surprised with an array of sweets. But as I said, this is more than just a restaurant, it's an experience. Plan extra time before your reservation or after so that you can view the gorgeous grounds! From the house to the gardens to the fountains to the covered archway, you're going to need at least an extra hour for exploring .”

“Went for a work lunch with a large group, since the buffet is an easy choice. The food was pretty solid, not a ton of options, but a decent variety (not for vegetarian folks have to say!) The staff was super accommodating so I don't want to knock their service, they were fantastic. The room itself is beautiful but it is SO LOUD. Like, I could barely carry a conversation with the person next to me loud. It was honestly just a lot. I don't think I'd go back unless I was there touring the property (and didn't want to splurge for the fancier restaurant). The grounds are stunning, and there's a lot to do on site, I do want to go back and see the rest.”

They recommended the Blondie and I was so excited with my drink!! It is so yummy with the perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess! Can't wait to go back and try more options! “I was in the Gonzales area with my mother in law and the seafood place she wanted to go to wasn't open. I googled some restaurants in the area and came across ToeGo Seafood. The service was excellent, very friendly and the food was amazing. I definitely will visit again when I'm in the area.”

“I love this place! I go about 2-5 times a month. Great food, great service, and friendly atmosphere! Food is seasoned well and some of the best ice cream and sweet tea! My favorite days to go is on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. The buffet runs about $15 an adult.”

“Love it. I work close so I go here quite often for lunch or after work. My usuals are the chicken or beef enchiladas but, of course, you'll find all of the dishes you'd expect to find at a Mexican restaurant. You won't be disappointed with the options or quality of the food here. The couple who own the place are very friendly and personal. Both have made me feel at home and welcomed since my very first visit when it first popped up in the area. From my experiences there, there seem to be a lot of regulars and a most of diners seem to know each other and have gotten to know the owners well from frequenting the restaurant so often which should tell you something about the quality of the food and feel of the place. There are lunch specials but the prices on the regular menu aren't that bad either. I don't think I've ever paid over $20 for my meal and a drink which includes chips and salsa, so you can't complain about that. I've never had an adult beverage there since I'm mostly going midday during work but there is a bar there and if I come later people are often enjoying margaritas and such. Yes. Definitely go support this local business if you're in the mood for Mexican food. Not sure how close it is to do everyone else in that area but it would be worth a little drive as well. For me it's great to have an option for lunch, besides Subway or the Chinese place in that same shopping center. Looking forward to my next visit!”

“Omg!!! I am so freakin happy my friend and I stumbled into this daiquiri bar. We came in just looking to get a daiquiri and something to eat after leaving the Rock the Country Festival this weekend. Let me tell you! Woo woo! My hamburger was the BEST burger I have ever eaten! I thought Raul's in Gonzales was probably my favorite but Top Notch says it all! I love the way their fries where cut and cut to perfection. Wish I'd known I could upgrade to the Top Notch Fries for $3 bc my bestie had those and we both can't wait to go back! The top notch fries were puuuurfect! Just the exact right amount of each ingredient. We definitely will be back! Just a question?? Is Top Notch Daquiris & Top Notch Seafood owned by the same people??? I think im addicted! Chill atmosphere, great food, and friendly service ! The bartender, stocky guy with the beard (didn't get his name), was great! “This the BEST boudin I have ever had (and I've tasted it from all over the state). My favorite is the Shrimp & Pork, but the others are great too. I can only find it in the Cash's Truck Stop off 415 in Port Allen. They sell it in the hot food trays; BUT you can ask to buy a whole pack frozen. It's worth it!!!”

“I had to go to the ER today. All I thought about was how close Bergeron's is. We stopped in after I was sent home. Got six pepperjack boudin balls and six steak bites.
