“My husband and I ate here today! Service was excellent and the food was amazing! I’m not sure if the server knew I was new to Puerto Rican food, but he thoroughly explained the menu and provided a recommendation, which was amazing! My husband and I both enjoyed our main dishes and had a empanada…which was to die for! The price was also very reasonable. We will definitely be back!”

They decorate for every holiday and their customer service is just as spirited. I love coming here alone or with my family! They have a little room you can reserve for celebrations or larger parties of people. The food is delicious and the many tea options they have are so good! I'm torn between the caramel apple and blackberry sage as my favorites! And their prices are super affordable! I highly recommend checking this place out. There's also a cute little shop just starting out next door and a train museum across the street.”

“Hands down one of the best meals I’ve had! The catfish was huge, crispy, and full of flavor. The Cajun mac and cheese and jambalaya were delicious, and the red velvet cheesecake was the perfect finish. The portions are big—I still have more than half left! You can taste the love in every bite. Definitely worth supporting!”

“We have always enjoyed Fox pizza. Actually went in on July the 5th about 7 to order but was Very Disappointed is seeing the young guy making pizzas being very messy with the meat and cheeses he was putting on the crust and NOT using and gloves on his hands!!!!! That was a big disappointment as I looked around and only saw a couple employees actually wearing gloves!!! I asked why he didn’t have on gloves as he was holding the toppings for the pizza high above the table letting it fall all over the table and the dough and them taking his bare hands just taking it off the table putting it onto the dough. Very un professional!!!! The lady just answered me and said “oh he washed his hands”. Again Not sanatiary!!!”

“I’m from California and we just left El Paso and I’ve been missing the Mexican food something fierce. The food here is sooo good!! The steak ( tacos and fajitas) was some of the best we have ever had. It was cooked to perfection and seasoned so well.

The tortilla chips were hot. The horchata was delicious as well.

Came in for a visit today the first time I have been in a Captian Ds in a very long time. I am from out of town so this Store in particular is New for me.
The lady behind the counter taking our order was upset from the very moment we walked in. My very first question to her was if they still had lobster rolls? Her reply was do you see a sign for them anywhere? I said no and she was like ok then ! From that point on No matter how respectful Me,my wife or my two children were to her she was very snappy and angry . I was later told by another employee that her Name is Ms Deena.
"MS Denna" I am not sure what we said or did to you. It's hard for me to understand why you treated us much different then other customers. Is it because you were having a bad day or Maybe the fact we are white is the reason we were treated much differently? Why were you so angry and short tempered? I really hate to think that My Race was the reason you made us feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome. Even my 9yo the one who was telling you Please,Thank you , Yes ma'am and No ma'am and you completely ignored him even after telling you to have a nice day couldn't understand what he did wrong to you.
I have struggled to write this all day. I am not a hateful or a prejudice person and have nothing but love for you. It just really bothers me as to why you didn't want us there !
As for the rest of your employees the ones we interacted with were very Pleasant especially Olivia. The food was hot and fresh . My wife's Potatoe was hard but Olivia took care of it with no problems. Unfortunately I will not be back. I do not want my kids or myself being in another unwelcoming situation or for us to be talked down to like lesser human beings!.”

“These karoke contests are full of BS!!!!It's a popularity contest where they allow friends to vote for friends when they should have people who are voting that doesn't know the singers and that would be a fair contest! Then the DJ is promoting friends over the mic and that to me is so unprofessional and disrespectful to the other singers who are competing for money. I didn't say all this because I didn't win cause I've sung in front of political people and with professional bands that would laugh at this clown show . If you can't be fair with a contest there shouldn't be one. Just name it a Populatity contest instead cause that is exactly what it is.”

Only problem was, only 1 person was working Friday around 7pm so that meant a LONG wait as there was a line of at least 10 people waiting… she was wonderful and well attentive and kept professionalism the entire time with myself as well as other customers. Parking: Not a large space to park . You may need to park on the side or in front of the laundry mat next door
