“My husband and I have been customers since moving here in 2021. The food is, and always has been amazing and overall zen is our go-to for hibachi and sushi needs. The owner is very personable and always made time to speak to us when he was in. The staff is always diligent and helpful, and the food usually comes out quick.I’ve seen a few reviews regarding the loud and chaotic atmosphere- and I do have to agree. BUT! If you ask kindly, they are usually always more than happy to turn the music down a little. Overall I recommend zen to everyone, and always bring my out of town friends and family in!“
“Located off of Hwy 22 in a small shopping center is this amazing Japanese Sushi & Noodle spot. It's been awarded Best of the Northshore several time for the quality food they not only looks appealing but has amazing flavors. It's a fairly small seating with amazing service. The waiter came by often to refill our drinks several times without having to ask for it. The Maître d at the front end was so nice and offered to seat us and even recommended the dish of the day. Although, the food was what some would consider to be pricey for lunch, it was definitely worth every dime of its cost. If you're ever driving through Mandeville heading to New Orleans, STOP HERE for lunch! I promise you if you're a fan of a Asian food or don't even like sushi stop in to try a plethora of cuisines there. They have really good portions with great flavors and even better service.“
“Let me begin with WOW. Hands down THE BEST poke I have EVER had in my life!!! I am a frequent poke eater and every time I see a new place I try it. This one BEATS every single poke place I’ve ever tried. Rose, who made my bowl, was such a sweet heart! She truly is a hard worker and makes all the sauces(have to try the honey wasabi, and her spicy sauce), cuts all the fish and veggies. The service was incredible. Top notch 100000/10 experience. “I got to say, for a place I found on my own because I happened to be in Mandeville area Saturday, this was a great place to stumble upon. It wasn't busy Saturday afternoon, but we had great service, the food was delicious and had a great conversation with the owner / chef once she was done with our food.We started with the fried tofu steaks and jalapeño poppers for appetizers. Then got the tempora shrimp and salmon roll, and spicy tuna rolls on the side. For entree we got the tempora meal and the Charashi dinner. Everything was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend.“
