“I really like the food at La Petite but I find the temperature of the food not ideal. The LPG Cheeseburger was lukewarm. The french fries were perfect. The soup I had was delicious but some of it was really hot and other areas were good temperature as if it was put in a microwave but not stirred before serving it.“

“From the moment you step into Chemin à la Mer, you're enveloped in an atmosphere of refined elegance. The restaurant's stunning riverfront location provides breathtaking views of the Mississippi River, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. But the true star of Chemin à la Mer is its exquisite cuisine. The menu features a delightful array of French-inspired dishes, each prepared with meticulous attention to detail and bursting with flavor. My personal favorite was the quiche, which is undoubtedly the best I've ever tasted. The buttery crust, the velvety custard, and the perfectly cooked bacon harmonized in a symphony of textures and flavors that left me speechless. Our server, Mandy, was an absolute delight. Her warm smile, attentive service, and genuine enthusiasm for the restaurant's offerings made us feel welcomed and valued. She expertly guided us through the menu, providing insightful recommendations and ensuring that our every need was met with utmost care. The other breakfast items we sampled were equally impressive. The omelets were fluffy and flavorful, the pancakes were light and airy, and the fresh fruit was impeccably ripe and juicy. Each dish was a testament to the chef's culinary expertise and commitment to using only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. To top off our exceptional dining experience, our daughter received the utmost attention from Mandy. With her engaging personality and genuine love for children, Mandy made our daughter feel special and entertained throughout our meal. Her kindness and attentiveness were a true reflection of the restaurant's commitment to providing exceptional service to all its guests. Thank you, Mandy, for making our experience a lovely & memorable one.“

“Service was great and food was delicious. Don’t think I can pick a favorite as each item was equally as good as the next. The beet salad was rich in flavor and texture. The cornmeal crust on the oysters added a different flavor that was great. The duck was melt in your mouth. The bavette was tender, well seasoned and delicious. Ours came out warm but not hot and while we chose to not send it back for refire the staff went above and beyond to apologize and offer to make it right. This restaurant should be on the top of your list, highly recommend.“

“Our waiter was an excellent host, providing us with lots of personalized local spots for our vacation. We ordered a bunch of plates to share, which several staff complimented as their faves, and enjoyed every bite. Highly recommend the tuna ceviche and fried chicken!“

“Hunter, our server, made the entire experience delightful! I'd like to shout out the bartender too, as these were by far the best alcoholic beverages we had the entire weekend! I can't wait to come back and look into staying at Maison with my hubby! We hope Hunter is still around, as his personality sold the experience ??.“

“This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in New Orleans. The food is outstanding, without trying too hard or overdoing it in any way. Pairings of flavors are superb, the food is consistently outstanding, and the service is knowledgeable and spot on. The location is perfect, too.“

“Lot's of decisions and they are all pretty good! You walk in place your order boil bags from shrimp to pig feet boil. (And everything else) And the other line they have is for fried platters. Both lines stay fairly busy. Which means...., The food must be pretty good or people wouldn't wait in line for that long to get an order. And it is that good. I got the softshell crab platter with fried rice, which was rather delicious. It was more than I could eat. and my husband had the shrimp po' boy sandwich He thought was pretty good. If you looking for cheaper and taste as good as the French Quarter then you should check it out.The ambience is so so it's really nothing to brag about because you just go pick up your food. Sit and eat it if you like and if you don't you keep it moving.“

“Insanely good pub grub with an amazing selection of beer. If you want something not on tap, then ask for their reserve list for the fancy bottles in the fridge. For those visiting and driving an EV there is a free charge point charger two blocks away near a park.“

“I have never had such a wonderful experience for a celebratory event! We booked last minute for a bachelorette party of 7. The staff at Vyoone’s was so absolutely lovely! Not only were they accommodating, friendly, and quick with service, they truly endeavored to ensure we had a wonderful time. The food was delicious (don’t skip the escargot!) and the service was amazing. The drinks were strong and delicious, and the people could not have been kinder. Already planning my return trip just to come back to this wonderful establishment!“

“An exceptional bar in a city full of bars. The Paris Safari decor theme makes for a cozy vibe. The varied cocktail list has many New Orleans classics that are made expertly. We loved the Brandy Crusta, Arnaud’s Special and the Bobby Oakes. We also enjoyed the tasty gougeres and the deviled eggs from the bar bites menu. Service was excellent.“

“After a lifetime of Grits avoidance, it was Apolline that finally turned me - actually changed my mind. I was a "Grits Convert" they said, as if it were a common experience from their point of view.Maybe it was just the first time I'd experienced Grits as anything better than bland and uninspired gruel. Or maybe the preparation here was exceptional. Whatever the case, the Shrimp and Grits was irresistible. I felt a shade guilty, as if anything this good must be illegal, even in a city with few such social limitations.Short version: The food was excellent and the service was genuine. It was an easy place to enjoy, easier to recommend.“

“Pretty good food. I was not wowed by anything, and I definitely think you can get better quality food in a smaller mom&pop environment, but I’d go back for sure.We started with some cocktails that were pretty good, not too crazy. The entree platters were surprisingly big. I did not get to try them but my friends enjoyed. I had the gumbo and Peruvian scallop which were both tasty. Not wow, but good. 8.5/10. They also brought my friend a little dessert for her birthday which was so sweet! A burger was also ordered along with shrimp and grits, a bisque, and halibut I believe. I tried the shrimp and grits and it was GOOD. That stole the show for me. Overall not my favorite place for creole food, but still worth a visit.“

“Snuck in without a reservation, but don’t recommend trying that given how fabulous the food and beverages are here. Inflection points like house mad Worcestershire, Sauce which is used in the spicy Bloody Mary and what may be New Orleans best BBQ Shrimp we’ve ever had, proved this team’s commitment to wowing diners, even locals like us. Quiet and out of the party crowd’s way, but still in the middle of all the New Orleans action and beauty, Cafe Degas pairs chef driven artistry with creative cocktail design for a win for us.“

“Everything was great at the restaurant. Sitting in the front people watching was interesting. One sketchy moment. A couple of annoying moments when all talking had to stop while adult juvenile drive by in 3 wheeled trike with radio blaring so it could be heard on Mars. I hope they go painfully deaf soon.“

“I really cannot say enough about this place. The ambience and decor are beautiful, they’re playing authentic French music which you would expect, but what was not expected was the incredible truly French food. I knew the chef was not French by birth but you’d never know it. The escargot were perfect, garlicky and not salty, the bread is amazing, so was the pain perdu, I would like some brie on the charcuterie board but the board was amazing, and the substitution of mushrooms into a traditional boeuf bourginon to make it vegetarian y’all is genius. My son thought he was eating meat, it was so hearty. We can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu, although I will have to prep myself because the bartender pours with a heavy hand and makes a great French 75! ❤️“

“We are so glad we did not bother with the jacket nonsense. I told my husband not to bother. We had the BEST experience today. We had 5:30 reservations. We were taken through a large area. We went to a nice area. We greeted by Andrew, he was very nice and made sure we were taken care of. Our server was Brittney, what an excellent server and so-so nice. Brittney made sure all was perfect. Ask for Brittney. Good luck to you Brittney. ? Our souffle potatoes OMG! Filet mignon cooked perfectly. The cauliflower a little undercooked. All went well. Will come back for sure.“

“So happy that we came! Incredible atmosphere in the back of the Old Absinthe House. Even better was the selection of absinthes to choose from. But BEST of all was Julie - She provided incredible recommendations of which of their absinthes might be of interest to us, and highlighted a local distiller (Atelier Vie) who makes an incredible, unique product (that became my favorite of the night). Can hardly wait to go back!“

“We came here for happy hour (4-6) for half off all bottles of wine and half off the mussels and fries! Both were excellent and great portions! Our server Sara was super nice and helpful, she gave us a lot of recs and talked through all of the wines with us. We sat outside on the front patio and it was just so lovely, busy but not too packed. Overall def recommend and will come back!“

“One of THE best crepes I've ever had. It might not look like much from the picture, but I guarantee you, the Down south crepe with boudin pepper jack, onions, and peppers is packed with flavor and big enough to share. It's huge! If you are in the French Quarter, you must visit for the crepes!“

“This was an exceptional restaurant. I really enjoyed the different room decor. It changed from area to area. Also the staff and waiters looked very professional in their black suits. Very nice touch. White linens? Indeed.Service was exceptional. Our waitress was the best. They were a bit busy so food prep was a little slow but not out of the ordinary. Our meals were awesome. Great menu, great prep, and great presentation. This location cannot be missed. You will enjoy!Parking: Take an Uber or walk. You won’t find parking.“

“A quaint, intimate restaurant with truly delicious food, friendly and attentive staff, and a large selection of great wine and cocktails.Vegetarian options: The pizza is absolutely to die for, and you can build your own or choose from three different “house” pizzas - the veggie, the Bianca, or the Ollivier, which are all vegetarian options. There are a few soup and salad selections, and the fries are perfection. Bread service is included with every meal, so no vegetarian should leave this place hungry.“

“After leaving church went over to grab a meal and wanted to do a Vietnamese breakfast sandwich. I asked for modifications because I don’t eat pork but I was told that that couldn’t be done so I ordered an almond croissant. The croissant was delicious.Dietary restrictions: I informed them that I don’t eat pork and was told that I I would still have to pay for the pork and pay extra for chicken. There’s no substitutions allowed.“
“We were seated near the waiters booth/computer. It was a bit loud, as they appeared to be training new staff. We completely understand; however, the restaurant had only two other customers when we arrived and were seated. Service and food all excellent. Still would recommend this establishment.“

“Overall good experience. The crepe (Funky French Monkey) was really tasty, and I couldn't finish the whole thing. The whole menu looked really good. The counter space to order is really small, and then you hang out outside. It's funny that it's right next to The Boot. I can't imagine trying to get a crepe on a weekend night haha. Service was fine. Just one girl working, and she was professional and efficient.“

“So much better than my last visit several years ago. So much! It's back to its old self and I am happy for it. The dining room is one of the most comfortable I've ever had the joy of eating in, intimate. I look forward to working my way through the crepes all over again! Mussels, vinaigrette avocado, goat cheese salad, dessert crepes. I had the salmon with bernaise and it was as delicately perfect as I remembered. (The dash across Prytania to the Creole Creamery is just as life-affirming as I remember because if you make it alive, you are ready for some ice cream for sure even if you had that dessert crepe.) Sometimes you can go home again (restaurant-wise).“

“Without a doubt the very best plate of Red Beans and Rice I have ever had since moving to New Orleans as a young adult in 1980. Believe me, I've had PLENTY!Velvety smooth consistency with an inviting aroma and deep, rich flavor. The generous portions of pork will certainly fill you up.Most definitely will have this again!“
