“My first experience with Food Assassin was via their food truck at FABC. My first time trying lamb and it was great. I have been to the restaurant 2 times since then and will return again. The staff is friendly and customer service is great too. Today I ordered lamb, a loaded baked potatoe and a grilled shrimp salad. My only complaint is my salad did not have cucumbers and red onions as seen on the menu picture. I did not check my order prior to leaving and it was a couple of hours later when I sat down to eat the salad. Van“

“Have been wanting to try this place for a long time especially considering their mission. Their hours of operation are a little difficult for the 9-5 time, but finally made it out. Everything was fresh to order. Staff were friendly. They have indoor seating, parking is street parking. The building vibe is loft style, with high ceilings which made the place feel spacious. It was a busy time however we were seated quickly. I think they put a lot of detail into the place. Really enjoyed the fried turkey necks and the sweet potato fries. Would go back for those.“

“I found Brigtsen's About 15 years ago. I have since been there 10 times over the years on vacation. I go to all the fine dining restaurants In NOLA. No matter where I go. Brigtsen's is consistently the best meal of my trip. I just had the pork chop last week in was so delicious. This is truly one of the best restaurants in America. One of my favorite visits is when Frank is there so that I get to say hello. There are not many restaurants were a famous chef is actually there . I try to save room for the pecan pie but I'm not always successful. The menu is so good with choices I get too full. The service is also excellent. “My wife and I attended supper at Mosquito Supper Club this evening and I can safely say that it was my favorite meal I've ever eaten. We sat at a communal table and had a wonderful conversation with the other diners. The food was tremendously good, presented beautifully, and we left stuffed after four courses. It had a late kick of spice to it but the spice wasn't overwhelming. I want to try the tenders on my next outing and the greens.“

“Had dinner here opening week and WOW the food is delicious, drinks were awesome, wait staff was on point, and atmosphere is so cool! We had the brisket debris fries for an app, really good!!. I got the blue crab soup (sooo much crab, get a cup of this as an appetizer, it's so good) and the outpost chopped salad (it's almost like a deconstructed muffulleta- I planned on saving half, but I ate the whole thing). Husband got the skirt steak, and he loved it so much that I'm pretty sure he's going to request it weekly. We both got the Twerk the French cocktail, and it's like a strawberry cloud. Can't wait to come back and get another one or two :) We fed my son before we left thinking the wait would be long, but only waited around 10 minutes with no reservation. My son got the chicken tenders and fries to munch on while we ate. Very kid friendly like Velvet Cactus, since my son was watching his Ipad and not disturbing anyone around us. “I visited the location on Ponchatrain in Nola last night _ I will NEVER dine in late at night - The host was outside playing with the managers dog in the parking lot - She walked in the side door and greeted me picked up the menu and NEVER sanitized or washed her hands. The server complained about it being slow- My food came out cold- The manager on duty last didn't care- They put my side dishes in the microwave They served me the same cold chicken I sent back and just put it on the grill for a few minutes. Horrible customer service experience and the quality of the food was worse.“

The dining area was comfortable and the menu was easy to understand but it was difficult to make a choice because everything looked so delicious. We couldn’t decide so we ordered everything! The rumors are true y’all, the food is AMAZING. Deceptively simple items like roasted Brussels & a burger were some of the best I’ve ever eaten! We sat at the bar, & everyone from hostess to waitstaff were so accommodating & fun! The bartender served us classic cocktails & more imaginative beverages that were more delicious than the last, in a town that had its share of ‘must try’ menus. We only intended to get a snack, & we left stuffed. My companion described the gumbo as “the best he’d ever had,” and that’s saying something! Cannot wait to go back!!“

My friend and her bridesmaids/ maid of honor came to NOLA for her bachelorette weekend, so we’re out of towners from all over. The maid of honor booked a reservation a couple months in advance and when we arrived, this restaurant made our table look adorable. They specifically put flowers on the table and some confetti, and it made my friend, the bride, feel super special. Our waitress (unfortunately I cannot remember her name) was INCREDIBLE and fun. She gave us great recommendations and the food was peccable and spectacular. By far our favorite brunch spot we visited on our trip to NOLA.“
