It is a mall, lots of shops...Located at the site of the former Jackson Brewery on the Mississippi River, the Shops at Jax Brewery is host to immense history and culture. Today, the building is no longer an active brewery, but is home to the premier retailers of the New Orleans French Quarter and the most breathtaking views of the Mississippi River in New Orleans.
It's kinda sad really. The food court is a ghost town. The shops are decent, but this close to the French Quarter isn't really a shopping mall vibe. You don't want to carry stuff around all day. Cafe Beignet is just downstairs, but the rest of it is a pedestrian mall. GOOD FOR HOT DAYS, as it has an air conditioner, which many places in that area, outside in the heat, do not.

Well who can pass up a brewery it definitely had to go there what a place to check out they do have a little bit of a tour and I had to wait a little bit to get in it was a nice day a nice place to go and I do recommend checking it out
