Why did I do this to myself? Expensive but so worth it. I can't afford these kinds of habits! Glad I don't live here now. Suffice to say everything was excellent. I got there early in their dining service, having waited it out perusing Oak St. Kept the party going with a really good unfiltered/cloudy sake. Came here for dinner to try their hand rolls. The sushi rice was fantastic, other ingredients excellent, fish incredibly fresh, and seaweed so crisp. The restaurant is located in a small shop on a relatively busy street away from downtown New Orleans but is pretty easy to get to. Extremely high quality sushi: specialty in sashimi and temaki. I just moved back to Nola from Seattle and was lamenting not being able to match the amazing Japanese options, but Sukeban definitely fits the bill.
