Might not be for everyone, but the Three Legged Dog is a great bar if you like dives, and is probably my favorite bar in New Orleans. They’re open 24/7 and serve food. The food is good bar food, and the drinks are cheap. The bartenders are definitely characters, but they’re friendly and the service is good. It's not a fancy place but they have cheap and cold beverages, great food throughout the day and night and even laundry machines you can use while traveling. I've sent many folks to this bar and they have almost all loved it.
