“This was the best fried chicken I've ever had! 10/10 would recommend and come back. They were a bit busy so no one checked in on us for a bit after we got our food and there were a couple things we would have addressed sooner. But oh well because the chicken was just so good!“
“Lydia was our sever at the Canal St. location and she was great. Friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. I don’t know what they put in that Bananas Foster French toast but it was heaven in my mouth. My fiancé enjoyed the biscuit, light and fluffy. The mimosa float got me feeling buzzy with my morning breakfast. Blueberry lavender was my favorite. Highly recommend Ruby Slipper for breakfasts“
“We took a trip to Nola a few days before we went on our Disney cruise and this place was recommend by locals. It did not disappoint and honestly was the best brunch I’ve ever had from a restaurant. It stays busy but the wait time was only 15 mins. If you have time to stop for lunch while your in Nola highly suggested checking this place out“
“Daisy Dukes Kenner (can't speak about other locations) was a great experience. Food served up fresh and hot...and delicious! We had the hot sausage po-boy and greens! The greens were so well seasoned and the sausage and bread tasted great and authentic (po-boy French roll)! I added the Daisy Dukes sauce to my po-boy (I'm saucy) and it took it to the next level!Between 3-4, you might have the place to yourself. But don't let the absence of a crowd fool you!“
“We loved this place. We are a family of seven and had four friends with us, too. But they took good care of us. The place is small but cozy. And super good food. The service was okay. The guy seemed to be trying but just messed up little things repeatedly. He apologized multiple times and was very nice about everything. He must have just had an off day.“
“I don't know why people would ever choose IHop over this. For $6.55 plus tax, you can get the All-Star Special with two eggs, hash browns or grits, bacon or sausage, toast (white, wheat, or raisin), and a waffle or biscuit. That's an amazing deal and you're a fool if you ignore it. IHop would require at least twice that amount. Go in expecting to essentially guzzle down warm grease disguised as a hash brown. It's part of the experience.“
“Stopped in off the street to grab a quick bite to go. The guy that helped me was so sweet and answered all my questions about the menu. Ordered the chicken caprese panini and a house lemonade. The panini was incredible!!! Fresh, homemade bread and a very generous portion. Can’t wait to come visit again!“
“Very cute little spot with a low key atmosphere, straightforward food, and sweet staff. It was empty when I went (11 on a Wednesday) so I was seated immediately and order was taken right away.I ordered the crescent city breakfast: grits with cheese, turkey bacon (meat of choice), half a waffle, and two eggs over easy. Grits were hearty, eggs were picture perfect (but so good I ate them before getting a pic), and waffle was crispy and fluffy.Got checked on at least three times before finishing, servers couldn’t be more on it.The decor is a little strange and the drinks are a little on the sweet side, so just order to your preference.4.75/5“
“We’re military gals visiting from Texas for Mardi Gras and this place was awesome.I JUST WANT TO SAY THE PANCAKES ARE SOOOOO AMAZING!! I “accidentally” ate my kid’s food bc I couldn’t stop eating it…..Literally one of the best I’ve had in my life. I’d rank them #2 best pancakes and #1 is my childhood memories in Holland, Europe.Breakfast burrito is pretty good but I want pancakes next time I come!Customer service is great! All very welcoming and make you feel right at home! “
“The food and coffee are great here. The customer service is on point. I loved the southern hospitality. I ordered from the F.F.W.C. portion of the menu. I chose the banana, strawberry, and Nutella crepes and loaded potatoes. The crepes were magnifique.“
“Going here is the best thing to go to . Reasonable prices for great authentic food . Always fresh great staff . Morning time is the best time to go even though they’re open later .Parking: Decent amount of space to park and parking isn’t closed in and tight like an alleyway.Kid-friendliness: Always treating the kids happiness.“
“This Waffle House has by far been one of the best I've been to in a while. The staff here was friendly, helpful and happy, from the cook to the bus boy. We had a mini crisis when my daughter got a bloody nose and they all jumped in to help. They seemed to work in harmony with each other. This was also a very clean waffle house, the grill area was not looking all nasty and the floors were clean and mopped.Kid-friendliness: They were very friendly and understanding, my daughter is special needs and they did a great job with her.“
“Food was hot and fresh, just what i had ordered and how i wanted it. I came to eat breakfast one early morning and my order came very quickly, didnt spend more than 6 to 8 min waiting for my food. Service was great! The place was ok its nothing special, just serves the purpose of good, fast, dinning. Ill deff come again sometime.“
“A typical American breakfast place. They have just one type of waffle, so I wonder why they named the place waffle house - servers are nice and you can see them cook right in front of you. Toast is literally just a toast with butter. I personally thought the food was kind of salty. Hashnrown was good.“
“We love the Daisy Dukes chain and, after shopping, we noticed one close by in Metarrie. We stopped in a were greeted right away by our server and sat down immediately. We found out that this amazing establishment is one of those blessed places that actively helps people who are recovering with jobs and a sense of normalness while recovering.I'm a 25 year recovering alcoholic and was almost brought to tears by how amazing this place is. Such a great atmosphere for sobriety! We will be coming back here every single time we're in the area.“
“Coming into Nola for an out of town wedding. I had the best experience with a catering order recently. Ebony at your New Orleans location was so helpful and accommodating. She knew the product gave me advice was professional and made ordering from you guys a pleasure. Thank you.“
“We had just drove in from Mississippi for our couples weekend. The food was amazing and fresh. The service was sooo amazing. I appreciate the employees for taking great care of us. Whoever work (2/16)friday night around 9-10pm. The restaurant smelled clean. Great music and great experience!! We will be back!“
“Had the pleasure of meeting the owner Juan- he's a solid guy and amazing chef. I let him choose my dinner and it was extremely far from disappointing. He made me spaghetti with his homemade sauce and a side of fried veal. Such a simple meal yet taste was beyond simple. What also made the food taste better was the excellent customer service Juan provided. He's passionate about his craft and that's a wonderful thing to see in person. Bless you Juan and good luck !“
