“Good stuff. ? I don't frequent this location often, but when I do, it's never busy, and the drinks are well made. My wife usually orders online while we're already in route to the store. Which is about a 5 to 10 minute drive, and our drinks are always ready and waiting when we get there. I would've given them 5 stars if their prices were a little cheaper. Hence, the reason we don't frequent this location often, or any Starbucks for that matter.“
“I had a bad experience on my last visit. I emailed the company and got a quick apology, I went back last night after a day of errands and wasn't going to cook. Well, I must say a 360 degree turn around. I got the double queen pounder, fries and a shake. Everything was delicious, hot, fresh the the strawberry shake was delicious. The purpose of my email to the company was to return and get this type of experience. Thanks, Trish“
“Our visit to Cafe Du Monde in City Park at night was an enchanting experience! With no crowds to contend with, we were able to fully immerse ourselves in the cozy ambiance of this iconic cafe. The outdoor seating area was beautifully lit, creating a magical atmosphere under the evening sky.Indulging in their famous beignets and cafe au lait was an absolute treat. The beignets were perfectly fluffy and covered in a generous dusting of powdered sugar, while the cafe au lait was rich and flavorful. It was the ideal combination for a late-night snack. The service was prompt and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyment of our visit. Whether you're a local or a visitor, Cafe Du Monde - City Park is a must-visit destination, especially in the peacefulness of the night. We can't wait to return for another delightful experience. Highly recommended!“
“Forget the more known places in the quarter and find your way to Midcity for these beignets. They are light and fluffy and delicious. They also give you a shaker of powdered sugar, so you can decide how mich you want. And the service is great. It's also a beautiful place.Vegetarian options: BeignetsParking: They have their own lot.Kid-friendliness: It's basically a donut shop.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp and handicap parking.“
“Visiting Nola and we stumbled upon District. All I can say is it did not disappoint! The food and drinks were so delicious. Best cheese grits I have ever had. Our server, Maddie, was so nice and friendly. She was attentive and has a caring personality.“
“The best meal I've ever had in my life. I could not recommend this place more. We went on a week day to get bunch. There wasn't much of a wait we were seated right away. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely divine.“
“Always consistently fresh and healthy. Friendly helpful team members. Our go to place!Vegetarian options: Great options that are substantial and healthy. You won’t leave looking for something missing even if you are an omnivore.Dietary restrictions: These guys are great. Will work with quirks like garlic and onion sensitivity, gf.“
“Excellent ice cream and plenty of flavors from which to choose. My favorite ice cream is rum raisin. Not many places serve this flavor these days, and it is almost impossible to find in grocery stores. Angelo Brocato has an excellent Rum Raisin.“
“Lydia was our sever at the Canal St. location and she was great. Friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. I don’t know what they put in that Bananas Foster French toast but it was heaven in my mouth. My fiancé enjoyed the biscuit, light and fluffy. The mimosa float got me feeling buzzy with my morning breakfast. Blueberry lavender was my favorite. Highly recommend Ruby Slipper for breakfasts“
“Hivolt Coffee in New Orleans stands out as not just a coffee shop, but a staple in the local café scene, offering a delightful array of options that cater to the health-conscious without sacrificing taste or portion size. It has quickly become one of my favorite destinations for coffee and more in the city, thanks to its consistently high-quality offerings and welcoming atmosphere. The Oozy Breakfast paired with a latte is my go-to choice, a combination so satisfying that it leaves little desire to explore other options. The dishes here are not only incredibly tasty but are also generous in serving size, ensuring that you leave feeling fully satisfied. The latte, smooth and perfectly balanced, complements any meal choice wonderfully and showcases Hivolt's expertise in coffee making. One of the most commendable aspects of Hivolt is the demeanor of its staff. Every visit is met with kindness and patience, contributing significantly to the overall positive experience. Their approachability and efficiency make each interaction pleasant, from ordering to enjoying your meal and drink. The ambiance of Hivolt is further elevated by its selection of music, which enhances the relaxed and friendly environment. This, combined with the café's ample seating and decently fast WiFi, makes it an ideal spot for those looking to work remotely or simply enjoy a leisurely coffee break. The space is designed thoughtfully, allowing for both productivity and relaxation. In conclusion, Hivolt Coffee offers an exceptional experience for coffee lovers and health food enthusiasts alike. Its blend of delicious, healthy options, excellent coffee, friendly staff, and a conducive environment for work or leisure makes it a must-visit location in New Orleans. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Hivolt promises a welcoming space where quality and satisfaction are guaranteed.“
“Um. Wow. This place is phenomenal, and the ladies running it are so kind and lovely. My sister and I both got the soft serve flavor of the week, cookies and cream, in affogato form. It had their vegan whipped cream, crushed Oreos, and an Oreo on top. Extremely pleased and it was absolutely delicious, especially with their house blend espresso that they even grinded right in front of us!! 1,000% recommended on every level.“
“This gem was suggested as a "must do" on a recent trip to New Orleans for my donut loving 9 yo. It did not disappoint! The service and atmosphere were great but man the food... best bite during the entire 3 day trip! Hubby and I had the Big Bird Breakfast and little dude inhaled 2 of "the best chocolate donuts ever!"“
“Best thing I had was a pourover, which was fantastic. That requires great beans, properly roasted, and good technique. What I tasted shows each part of the process was excellent. Also had a flat white and rosemary fig scone, which were both good. Atmosphere and staff are nice. The space is smallish, but that’s only likely to be a problem if you want to stay for a couple hours to work or read. It was clean and bright, perfectly nice for a relaxing breakfast. I went a week ago and it’s still on my mind enough to write a review - I think that tells you something.Vegetarian options: Food is just pastries in a case. Most if not all are without meat.“
“The food is soooooo good. The best brunch menu in Nola. Tried most things and it always slaps. Service is great.-1 for no reservations and long waits. I have no idea why they don’t give both the overworked hosts and customers a break by having a more streamlined res/waitlist system. Attempting Bearcat on the weekend is a competitive sport. Is it a reverse psychology thing? Like knowing you probably won’t get in so you want it even more? Having waited in the sun for an hour so the mimosas are extra refreshing? Lmk!“
“My first time here. I got an iced pistachio latte with oatmilk and my husband got a frozen mocha latte with oatmilk. We live on the northshore and had to go to the southshore for something and instead of stopping at Starbucks, we wanted to try something new! Definitely recommend. Customer service was great and our coffee order was delicious!“
“Absolutely a great, delicious, and quick! Food was one of kind. MUST try atleast once... Our first time here and we will be back tomorrow morning! The team member behind the counter was friendly and personable.Vegetarian options: Egg and cheese options.“
“Got pho, banh mi, and veggie spring rolls. The pho and banh mi delivered. Only complaint with banh mi is that it wasn't served on a baguette, rather it was on a hoagie bun.The spring rolls were not our favorite. I felt like there wasn't much taste. And I had heartburn for a while and a fishy taste that lasted for a long time.“
“WE LOVE UNDERGROWTH COFFEE!They have the best breakfast burritos from California to Louisiana .I am a burrito connoisseur. I have a Hispanic background and I spend way too much money on eating out and have travelled the world.Originally from Southern California and work for a Texas based company, I have had plenty of burritos and none compare to the perfect combination of rosemary potatoes, smoky flavored bacon, savory eggs, sharp white cheddar all wrapped in an herb tortilla. Seriously, I have ordered $100 worth of these burritos at a time so that I can have them multiple days in a row. My girlfriend and I love them and the staff there is wonderful and always accommodating.CZ“
“My favorite little eclectic coffee shop. Funky art adorns the walls, various seating options for work, chatting or just relaxing. Knowledgeable staff creates the best coffee concoctions with chess-themed names. Bonus: chess, open mic and art classes are offered throughout the week.Vegetarian options: The grab and go pastries (veggie options) are baked and brought in from Gracious Bakery.“
“This is such a cute and calming space. We came in for a couple of evening coffees as most places were closed, and it was so lovely we decided to sit down a little longer and chat with our lovey hostess/barista. I had the Lavender Oatmilk latte, while my friend had the Rose Almond Milk latte. If it wasn't our last day, we probably would have stopped by again to try their mocktails. A sobriety-focused and calming place was such a breath of fresh air from the chaos of the French Quarter.“
“My husband saw they Cuban espresso on their menu, and we had to drive 10 minutes out of the way, bypassing all other coffee shops to Cafétomas… and all I can say it was worth the drive! I had a white mocha. He had their Cuban espresso, and they shared with us their dusted powder sugar Cuban cookies! Everything was fabulous. And, the gentleman (manager/owner?) was so kind.“
“I went on opening day and had a great experience! I love boba and find it everywhere I go so I was excited to see this new spot in New Orleans. It got the Vanilla Rose boba tea and I really enjoyed it! It had the right amount of sweetness and the boba texture was just right and had a sweet flavor, which I love! I’ll be back next time visiting home.“
“We were a large party of 13 and the manager made every effort to seat all of us together. The mimosas and food were both delicious. Mia took great care of us with so much patience and a big smile. I have been to the Veterans location several times and it never disappoints. We will definitely return soon!“
“If you like pie, you NEED to visit Windowsill Pies in New Orleans. As an avid home baker and foodie, I've been following them on Instagram for about a year now, and decided to finally take a trip to New Orleans and try their pies myself (they do not ship pies). In a foodie paradise like New Orleans, the bar is high and Windowsill Pies more than exceeds it. Absolutely worth a short trip outside the usual New Orleans tourist spots. Arrived mid-morning on Wednesday, to the delightfully bright-colored, quaint little shop. Skipped breakfast (and later lunch) just so we could sample almost all they had to offer. Co-owner Marielle Dupré, was friendly, gracious and incredibly helpful. In addition to her baking skills, also makes excellent espresso-based drinks. Try the honey latte. We literally worked our way through almost their entire display case. Pie flights really should be a thing. Windowsill Pies does an amazing job sourcing local, fresh, seasonal ingredients, so their menu changes with the seasons. The case was the embodiment of Fall, filled with creations made with apple, pumpkin and nuts. Windowsill Pies prides itself on being "Southern styled, French inspired and New Orleans baked" and it shows in each slice. The quality, craftsmanship and uniqueness in their pies is unparalleled. Started with their signature vanilla bean bourbon pecan pie. Made with butter browned with vanilla beans, Steen's cane syrup and Maker's mark, this is not your grandmama's pie nor is it the sticky sweet store-bought you might have settled for. Perfect blend of nutty and sweetness. Next up was Apple Frangipane tart. Honestly never had anything like it. A delicate blend of apple and almond flavors in a buttery tart crust. This was my husband's favorite. On to the gingered pumpkin tart with candied pepitas. Creamy with just the right hint of ginger. Round 2 was hand pies. While the Croque Madame were already sold out, the winter root vegetable more than made up for it. Comfort food that fits in your hand, the flavors packed in this small bite were sensational. The apple cheddar was filled with apples perfectly baked and a sharp cheddar with just the right punch. Our last bites in the store were of the almond laced apple pie. And while we were absolutely stuffed by this point, it was worth every bite. In addition to grabbing some merch (perfect for some out of state friends), we grabbed the most adorable and decadent mini chocolate tarts with Earl Grey caramel. We also bought one of the most gorgeous chicken pot pies I've ever seen. Reheated for dinner, it was flaky, savory perfection. Cannot recommend this place enough. Hope to be back again soon to try more of their incredible creations.“
“Good biscuit, delicious French Toast, and sweet fresh fruit. Was looking forward to coming back, but I was told they will only serve pastries, SMH. Its NOLA, we love to eat good cooked food, create an environment and experience for all types of customers.“
“OMG the chicken and waffles were to die for!! Be sure to try the potatoes, crispy and great flavor. Pi Boy is huge! Grab a menu and a table then go order. Be patient, it's all made to order. Quite clean, several tables for groups or couples. The people who work here are very nice.“
“I'm not a coffee drinker but when my girlfriend goes here I sometimes get a lil treat. I do love their local vege selection and got some incredibly yummy kale there for cheaper than anywhere else I've seen. Also they gave me an empty coffee burlap sack to use in my mardi gras outfit so super appreciative of that.“

“My favorite neighborhood coffee spot. The coffee and pastries are fantastic! Great spot to get some work done or read a book. On weekends, a lot of tour groups meet here so it can be a bit crowded at times but they typically leave fairly quickly and free up seats.“
“Can't remember last time I had gotten an ice latte from a coffee store. I typically don't believe in spending that kind of money on coffee, okay I'm cheap. But I have to say I was having a craving for one, and stop by sacred grinds coffee house on a whim because I was passing by it. Very glad that I did, it was a very smooth iced coffee. Still overpriced like all coffee shops ? (okay that's just my opinion guys) but in this case it was worth it because it hit the spot and was very tasty.Very limited seating both inside and outside for those who've never been to this coffee place. Although it has its own entrance doorway it's adjacent with an interior connecting door to the herbal company on canal Street. Cool vibes but not a place to go to with a big crew of people unless you're taking everything to go because there simply isn't a lot of seating.“
“Wow. What a cool, unexpected experience in NOLA. If you love coffee and have any interest in the bean to cup process, you gotta drop in. Huge selection of greens and processes. Thank you Rhea and Josh for the great customer service and the shop dogs for the sweet love.“
“We spent a few nights at the hotel above Dovetail and frequented Dovetail during our stay, and it was great! The drinks were fantastic (gotta shout out the Espresso Martinis on tap) and the atmosphere was wonderful (bar-side seating always made for fun conversations). A special shout out to all the bartenders who took care of us, Andy and Max, you all were fantastic!“
“Charming coffee house nestled in the garden district. Our lattes were perfect. The cheddar scone had a nice flavor but was cold and a bit stale.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options with breads and sandwichesWheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp from sidewalk to the front door. Tables easily accommodate a W/C“
“Memory Lane: Wasn't there a location in Mid City close to South Carrollton? I remember getting a Brandy Milk Punch (my favorite cocktail from here, by the way) at a Ruby Slipper location within walking distance from where I used to live in Mid City. Anyways, years have passed and this restaurant keeps expanding. Sounds great!“
“I've always heard that New Orleans is known for their good food and this place lives up to the hype! We are visiting from Kentucky and wanted some local new orleans brunch. We lucked up and found Up and Adam and when I tell you...probably (top 5) best food I've tasted in my 41 years. Literally, everything was top tier and to top it off, the ambiance and customer service was outstanding as well. Every time I visit New Orleans, I will be returning. I highly recommend!“
“I have coffee dates with my aunt at least once a month at CR. Each and every time we have experienced nothing less than concierge level customer service from staff. Appreicate the atmospehere, including the music selection the staff plays, that creates a warm and welcoming environment. I highly recommend CR for anyone looking for an authentic coffe shop expeirence. They even have a great patio to sit and enjoy those sunny days while sipping your drink.“
“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Haydel’s Bake Shop on Magazine St in New Orleans, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The King Cakes, a New Orleans staple, were nothing short of phenomenal. The perfect blend of flavors and the richness of the cake made it a true delight. What surprised me even more was the coffee. In a city renowned for its coffee culture with places like Cafe du Monde and Cafe Beignet, Haydel’s managed to outshine them. The coffee was robust and flavorful, complementing the sweetness of the King Cake impeccably.Service at Haydel’s was another highlight. The staff was not only friendly but also went above and beyond to make the visit enjoyable. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to assist made the overall experience memorable. If you're in New Orleans and craving an outstanding King Cake paired with exceptional coffee, Haydel’s Bake Shop on Magazine St is a must-visit. It has undoubtedly secured its place as a top contender in the city's vibrant culinary scene.“
“My husband picked up an iced vanilla latte for himself and a hibiscus tea for me on our first visit. Both were very good. So good that we went back a second time. We both bot an iced vanilla latte that time as they were so good! We also ordered a blueberry muffin and ham and cheese croissant which were the only food items left which tells you something! They were both AMAZING. The blueberry muffin was packed with blueberries and was better than the McDonalds version, which is also very good. The croissant was decadent. Will go back again on our next trip to NOLA.“
“I was in town from Cali and decided to stop by after reading the reviews and how close I was to their spot. The vibe is cool. The music is unique and my drink is/was delicious. I decided to put my favorite flavors together and I was not disappointed. Somehow they knew just how to mix it all up.I“
“We delight in Todd’s as a family more than I care to admit. You can’t beat the friendly service, frozen cappuchinos, and yogurt. I buy their yogurt by the quarts (great price)! I’ve even had to run in at closing time with my spoon in my hand and they were happy to make sure I didn’t run out of favorite cream cheese and chocolate. Love Todd’s!!!!!!!“
“We were passing through on the way out of town so I ordered pick up through their site. I ordered the Mango Breeze, Dirty Cafe Latte and Creme Brulee Dirty boba. They were all good. Price was reasonable. Went in to wait and they let me know they were out of Mango so we did the Strawberry for my daughter. The service was fast and the girl behind the counter was super friendly.“
“This coffee shop is phenomenal and the baristas are extremely welcoming and offer great service. I'm a big fan of great coffee, and this is absolutely a YES for great coffee! Hot, iced, flavored- they have what you need. The food options including the blueberry muffins are excellent. Perfect spot for stopping on a morning walk. I just LOVE Orleans Coffee!“
“Iv only been here once but I dig the setting and the service was too fast. If I didn't watch the girl make my chai I'd have thought she pulled it out pre-made behind the counter. Now. Iv had lots of chai but this place has really great chai if you like it spicy. I definitly intend to stop by here again soon.“
“Food establishments are required to have a customer bathroom. At SUBWAY across the street people behind the counter would not give me the key after looking at each other for a few minutes they said it was out of order. Bought my food at this AMAZING cafe and paid roughly the same amount . The food was sooooo good, the service was AWESOME, the vibe was nice and we enjoyed it! SUBWAY'S loss was our gain!“
“Yum. Go. You have to. If you don't want to or don't have time to be in the French quarter try here! Great town that feels very safe and near a lot of restaurants.Kid-friendliness: The kids will love this experience! Indoor and outdoor options for dining.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy easy! From parking to ordering then eating. Also bathroom was rather easy to use. A+ for handicap ♿️ hospitality“
“This is definetely one of my favorite dessert shops in the city. The decir and place is classy, fun and, cate. It definetly gives off good vibes. It is a bit pricy for ice cream and desserts but trust me; it is totally worth it. Definetley a good stop when strolling around Magazine Street. Loved it :)))Kid-friendliness: It is great if your kids love a tasty cool treat!“
“The best in the city. I love the staff here so much. They are so friendly and very welcoming. It also helps that they have the best iced coffee in New Orleans. You can not go wrong with this place. Been coming here for years. The owner you can tell really cares about her employees and it shows . If you are looking for a great coffee shop this is it.“
“Not a coffee drinker so can’t comment on that but love this place for beignets. They are made to order so always fresh and warm. The minis are perfect for a little treat to share and service is friendly and welcoming. They also serve other items. Hard to get a food pic that looks appetizing but these beignets are really tasty.“
“Although I wish they were open a little longer during the week because I could use a lighter option for dinner then the choices we have in st Charles parish, it's a great spot for me to eat for lunch when needed. The food is light, delicious and some of the selection is health conscious. I don't care for the tea but that's my personal preference but I like the cold brew and my kids like that flight frozen coffee stuff on Saturday“
“I've been a PJ's Coffee fan for nearly 20 years at this point, and this is my favorite location. They're consistent with the drinks, the staff is always friendly, and it's got a great neighborhood feel. Plenty of parking too -- front and back parking lots. If you're into small, locally owned coffee shops, this one's the best!Parking: 2 parking lots: 1 in the front and 1 in the back. If one is full, check the other.Kid-friendliness: Kid-friendly location“
