“I thoroughly enjoy my experiences at Cooter Brown's Tavern. During my recent visit – not my first – I indulged in their delicious fried oysters, which were simply outstanding. Additionally, their fried fish and cheese fries surpassed my expectations. The service was prompt and welcoming, contributing to the establishment's laid-back atmosphere. Undoubtedly, Cooter Brown's Tavern ranks among my favorite spots in New Orleans.“

“While in NOLA we always stop here and are always happy with the food, service and atmosphere in general. It’s enough away from the Bourbon atmosphere but close enough at the same, if you have a preference. It was clean, fast and friendly. All good!“

“We were in town for a football game and looking for a drink and bite to eat on the way home. Thank goodness we found this place! The food was AMAZING! Usually I don’t trust steak at all bad, but the steak was perfect, as was my tuna steak. Even the mac and cheese was so good. We will definitely be back!“

“If you are in Metairie Bar Tevs is a great spot to meet up with friends or watch a game. Great location off of Airline in Metairie away from the hustle of the city. The owners always make a fun atmosphere on game days or any day! And the food pop-up’s are on point!“

“I was really impressed with the friendliness of service here! The bartender and the guy at the door. I came here to celebrate my birthday with a large group of friends after having an horrible experience across the street and they were able to accommodate us with room and allowed us to bring in my birthday cake. Everyone was happy. The plus was there were pool table in the room we were in. I’d highly recommend this bar to have a few drinks and chill.“

“Great service, the bartenders were awesome. Typical bar food but they have nightly specials. Tuesday is trivia and $6 tacos! Trivia was a lot of fun but very long (3 1/2 hours). Cute neighborhood bar if you're looking for a place to hangout.“

“Not a drinker, but I came here bc of a recommendation for another local business to try their burgers. Got their regular cheeseburger and some fries. The hamburger was seasoned to perfection and the fries are just the right crinkle fries. Not too soft and not hard. The employees were very nice and got my order out quick. I did see a bunch of people that came for drinks and to hangout so I can imagine people like coming for the atmosphere. Come check it out.“

“Get off the strip and away from the tourist traps and come to this neighborhood bar for a great time. Drinks and food are great and the whiskey selection will make the bougiest whiskey enthusiast cry with joy. This was our favorite bar of the trip and we can't recommend it enough!!!“

“The nice man behind the counter was very chill and patient with my frazzled stepmom, which I super appreciate. I slightly regret being on a diet cuz the larges were unexpectedly on sale, but my bellini is really really good! I'll probably try their take on The Incredible Hulk next time“

“I've been to loft 18 multiple times before, but when I started coming to Trivia Wednesdays I found a reason to return every Wednesday. I had the most wonderful waitress I've ever had wait on me at any bar or restaurant in my entire life. Her name is Angelle and she deserves a raise. She remembers my drink orders and gives the most amazing entree recommendations. Anytime my drink gets close to being empty there she is asking if I'd like another. When i finish my food she is right there ready to clear my table to make room for trivia sheets. Angelle is perfection in waitress form!!! “I went to see Forest; he was double booked again! I stayed anyway. The staff was fun. Easily able to get a game pool, dancing, laughs, great time. Clean bathroom 's establishment is the cleanest IV been to on 4th street. Plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessable. I had a good time!“

“Hadn't been here in years. I decided to unwind and relax after work one day last week. Glad I did! It was dart night so there was a bunch of people came in around 6:00 pm but between 5 and 6 pm it was rather quiet and we had a pizza and cheese sticks. Both food items were really good. The owner and his son were very nice. Had a good time and look forward to going back for drinks, food and good company!“

“I was working in the area for a few weeks. Being from out of town I wanted to find a local place to relax with down to earth people. I looked at Google maps and chose this place. “I feel that I'm a regular customer here , it's a fun place to go with very good food , I recommend the boudin balls , red beans and the lemon baken chicken breast . my favorite bartender is Lauren, always great to see her , she treats the customers great and knows what she is doing having been there for a while now . they have plenty of well lit parking with people always coming and going .inside they have a nice bar with plenty of seating ,and you can even get your own beer at your table yourself , by the way walk ons in my opinion has the coldest beer you'll find . the waitresses are nice and they will do a song for you, or a friend for their birthday which is very nice and fun . prices are very reasonable and and I like the local atmosphere and plates they have . you can't go wrong here for a good time and great food“

“Quickly became my go-to place for daiquiris! Great flavor variety…always tasty and perfectly strong without too harsh an alcohol flavor. The price is right, and I love the daily specials they offer. The gals bartending are always friendly and fast in the drive-thru, although I’ve personally never been inside. I will say, the drive-thru can be a bit stressful during busier times since there is not much room for a line so it can spill out onto the street. I take every out-of-town visitor here, and it’s definitely a top request when they visit again. I am moving out of River Ridge soon, but I will be making the quick drive from Metairie whenever I have a daiquiri hankering!“

“Went to see a band I know very well live, was a great show, met a lot of super chill people(mostly from this area). The service was also prompt and friendly. I've lived in this area most of my life and hadn't gone in until a month ago, me thinks I'll be stopping by more frequently“

“Stopped in prior to flying back to the Midwest to kill some time- what a great choice. We were looking for some good wings. Didn't disappoint! The customer service was fantastic- offered us sauces to try and made suggestions proofing to ordering. We had the mango Cajun, garlic parm, sweet red chili glaze and Louisiana hot. “Didn't try the food but the service for our drinks was amazing. The atmosphere was awesome...I have never been to Louisiana and I'm so glad my boyfriend and I visited on Saturday night for karaoke. “Went for a drink on Saturday and enjoyed a plentiful serving of boiled shrimp with mushrooms, cabbage, garlic, corn and potatoes. The spices creep up after excellently. All staff and patrons friendly; dog and I loved hanging in the beautiful back patio. Will definitely return.“

“Me and my wife went here for vday. She had the lobster and I had a catfish platter. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS. Very laid back. The drinks had way to much ice in them and nowhere close to enough tequila. Also the bathroom is in the back of the building. Doesn't seem safe for a lady to be walking back there at night to use the restroom. But I would definitely recommend going. Lots of tvs for sports as well.“
