“Myself and two friends were watching & photographing trains at the Ballardvale MBTA station on Saturday 3/23/24. a Very nasty, rainy day. We decided we were getting hungry and, and noticed a pizza shop across the tracks. None of us really wanted pizza, but we headed that way anyway. As we got closer we saw the sign for LULU's LUNCHBOX next to the pizza shop, and decided to check it out. Best decision ever!!!. I had never even heard of a Shawarma before, but they offered both beef & chicken. A Shawarma is very much like a wrap sandwich, but huge. The young girl in the shop told us that everything was made fresh daily, and this was evident as she cooked the beef & chicken fresh for us. I got the Beef Shawarma, and I have to say, it was absolutely delicious. Both of my companions got the Chicken shawarma, and it theirs looked just as good. The Lunchbox is small with one table, and extremely clean & friendly. I finished my shawarma, and even though I was full, my taste buds wanted more. I regret not ordering one to go for dinner. “The JP Licks in andover is the best! The staff are kind helpful and can create conversation, especially Will, and Mark! This is my favorite ice cream place it has an amazing variety of flavors and toppings! It is also right downtown so perfect for a nice night!“

“Here's a little Valley gem! Great product! Gelato with some pastries on the side. Everything is so yummy: You can't go wrong no matter what you get. (Pro tip: Try that tiramisu!! “Pizza is ok. Crust is good. Problem is-too much cheese. Not enough sauce. Hence, the toppings, etc, are rendered muted. So order less cheese, more sauce or more well-done as the moisture from the cheese renders what could be a great pie a bit damp. I've had great, Medicare and bad pizza all over the world. Maybe it's a Merrimack Valley thing. The best, locally, is Osteria in Ipswich.“

But the best of all was the fact that I love swirl ice cream with brownie pieces and their brownies are made fresh daily and cut up and added to your ice cream literally the best hands down everywhere else has imitation brownie pieces this is the best I've had so far look at those brownie pieces ??“

“Our experience at Jay Gee’s Homemade Ice Cream was OUT OF THIS WORLD! The staff at the window was so friendly, helpful and patient as we asked about flavors. Decided on the seasonal pumpkin and chocolate peanut butter for one sundae and pumpkin Oreo with maple walnut for the other. Both with homemade hot fudge and whipped cream with nuts and a cherry on top! ? Perfect size for me, too big and take home for her. Definitely recommend Jay Gee’s!“

“We go to Nella's Pizza at least once a week. It's my kid's favorite pizza place. They are by far my favorite non-wood burning stove pizza place. Everyone is extremely friendly and I've never had bad service from them. During the summer they also sell Gelato which is a nice treat on a hot day.“

“I recently held my sons birthday party here and had a great experience.I thought they offered a very reasonable package which included 2 lovely hosts, arts & crafts supplies for baker hats, cookies & ice cream flavors a la carte and the chance to bake & decorate 3 take home cookies each. “I've been here a few times at each time everything is delicious! The staff are quick and friendly and there are a ton of flavors to choose from! I just got the maple soft serve which was perfect for fall. I think next time I'll try the pumpkin. They also DENSELY pack the take home quarts and it's fantastic. Looking forward to going back“

“We had a great time at Crescent farm. The best thing about it was the cider donuts, that were warm and fresh. You have to try the Apple Cider Donut sundae!! It doesn’t show on the menu but it was the best we’ve ever had. I have been dreaming about it since. Hoping they are open this weekend when family is here to take them down.“

The girls behind the counter were so helpful and friendly to me and my family. They had a line out the door and I totally get why. This hole in the wall store is actually an amazing ice cream joint. Maybe the best in the area, imo. Give them a try!“
