“I waited in line for quite a while but it was well worth the wait! ( There's always a long line! ) I got a hot fudge sundae! Mmmmmm, it was yummy!!! ? ?I sat on one of their picnic tables to eat my sundae and people-watch! Lol... ??♀️ Unfortunately there was a family with lots of unruly kids running, jumping, screaming & wrestling in the picnic table area where I was sitting. The picnic table area is a small area mainly for people to sit and eat their ice cream or whatever! Definitely not enough room for kids to be doing what they were doing! Don't get me wrong, I love kids... I have 3 of my own but I wouldn't allow that kind of behavior especially around a bunch of paying customers! Other than this my experience was good! “Myself and two friends were watching & photographing trains at the Ballardvale MBTA station on Saturday 3/23/24. a Very nasty, rainy day. We decided we were getting hungry and, and noticed a pizza shop across the tracks. None of us really wanted pizza, but we headed that way anyway. As we got closer we saw the sign for LULU's LUNCHBOX next to the pizza shop, and decided to check it out. Best decision ever!!!. I had never even heard of a Shawarma before, but they offered both beef & chicken. A Shawarma is very much like a wrap sandwich, but huge. The young girl in the shop told us that everything was made fresh daily, and this was evident as she cooked the beef & chicken fresh for us. I got the Beef Shawarma, and I have to say, it was absolutely delicious. Both of my companions got the Chicken shawarma, and it theirs looked just as good. The Lunchbox is small with one table, and extremely clean & friendly. I finished my shawarma, and even though I was full, my taste buds wanted more. I regret not ordering one to go for dinner. “Pizza is ok. Crust is good. Problem is-too much cheese. Not enough sauce. Hence, the toppings, etc, are rendered muted. So order less cheese, more sauce or more well-done as the moisture from the cheese renders what could be a great pie a bit damp. I've had great, Medicare and bad pizza all over the world. Maybe it's a Merrimack Valley thing. The best, locally, is Osteria in Ipswich.“
“Our experience at Jay Gee’s Homemade Ice Cream was OUT OF THIS WORLD! The staff at the window was so friendly, helpful and patient as we asked about flavors. Decided on the seasonal pumpkin and chocolate peanut butter for one sundae and pumpkin Oreo with maple walnut for the other. Both with homemade hot fudge and whipped cream with nuts and a cherry on top! ? Perfect size for me, too big and take home for her. Definitely recommend Jay Gee’s!“

“I love walking from my apt to this farm shop on sunny mornings for a delicious fresh muffin and a pint of their amazing banana milk. They have banana and strawberry milks that always deliver on freshness and flavor. There is also an amazing selection of pantry goods like fun dips and jellies/jams. I also enjoy their frozen pies, especially the Shepard's pie. From local meats to fresh veggies to kombucha, they've got it all at great prices. In the summer, the freshly made ice cream from the milk produced by their cows is always a great treat too!“

“Today was my first time trying this place with my sister, but she has been here before. I absolutely love it! The avacado toast is HUGE, it's clean, and the atmosphere was very nice and chill. The young man at the front who took our orders was very sweet and polite (I'm bummed that I didn't get his name), he brought me a chair as there were no other seats available. The customer service is great and I will definitely be returning. The only "complaint" that I have is they don't have juices only smoothies, but the "Hulk" was awesome and it was close to what I was looking for.“
“End of September 2023 we are here. The business is very busy and a lot of traffic in and out. First time here and I spoke to others here today who said they love it here and the ice cream flavors. Many have been coming for years and are loyal customers. We had single scoop ice cream on a waffle cone. I used to make home made ice cream for a restaurant and know when it is flavored well. I had the cookies and cream which was chocolate ice cream, and had good flavor to it. I'm not here to eat a pint of ice cream at once so the one scoop was plentiful. About $5 for a small which is a single scoop, again plenty for me. I also picked up a doggy cup which was just under $5. But there was plenty of vanilla cream in the cup with a large cookie on top. Many places give a very small amount of cream and a small milk bone and charge $5 for a doggy bowl. There was plenty for my dog to eat. We were here for 25 minutes and counted about 30 cars in and out with loads of people waiting in line, on this cloudy and cooler afternoon. I would have to say that Benson's is doing something right to draw in this many people on a cloudy September evening. I am sorry those others have had a not so great visit. Perhaps you might take a break for a bit and come back with an open mind. You may have a better opinion.“
