“I stopped by The Cookie Monstah in Beverly after work. The Grand Opening for this store was advertised for Monday December 5, 2022 from 11am to 9pm on their website, Instagram, Twitter and on Facebook. I was thrilled to see their postings since I've enjoyed their handmade wicked good ice cream cookie sandwiches in Danvers and Burlington. However, when I arrived here in Beverly around 4:50, the store was still not open, but there was a few staff inside with the doors still locked. I decided to hang out at Panera Bread in the same plaza. Anyhow, The Cookie Monstah offers about 12 kinds of fresh baked cookies, milk, 24 flavors of hard scoop ice cream/sorbets, plus their handmade wicked good sandwiches or build your own (choose any 2 cookies and any ice cream) or their specialty ice cream cookie sandwiches including The Blueberry Buckle, Slim Shady, Salty Dog, Cup-o-Joe, Dough Boy, Green Monstah, Candy Shoppe, and others, $7 plus tax (in 2022). Gluten free and vegan options available. After checking The Cookie Monstah Facebook page and about to head over to the Danvers location, they posted that Beverly was now open (around 5:40 pm), yassss!!!! I moseyed over and walked in and the staff was in training with cookies made and ice cream ready. They were very gracious and offered me a Wicked Good Sandwich of my choice and I went with my favorite, The Blueberry Buckle, 2 Oatmeal Raisin Cookies with Blueberry Pie Ice Cream. This ice cream sandwich was so good which I enjoyed with my black coffee from Panera. They are open normal business hours starting on December 6, 2022.“
“Pastries are delicious! We got the hazelnut buttercream, the pistachio (forget the name), pain au chocolat, and 6 macarons. Totaled around $35, which is expected for high quality pastries.The pain au chocolat was perfectly flaky and had a good amount of chocolate. My 1.5 year old loved it too. My husband loved the pistachio pastry. It was very light and fluffy. I loved the hazelnut buttercream, the flavor was so delicate yet so rich.The macarons we got were tiramisu, peppermint, rose, earl grey, lavender, and chocolate. I've only tasted the peppermint but it was delicious.We went around 4:30pm so not as much to choose from, probably because they were closing soon, but we were happy with our selections. We'll be back for sure when we are in the area.“
“THEE best!! We stopped by after our visit to the Witch Museum and this gem is located across the street. We tried the Milky Way cookie with vanilla soft serve. FRICKIN delicious, the cookie was baked to perfection, warm and paired nicely with the ice cream. We also got the Carrot Cake, also FRICKIN delicious and baked to perfection. The center was filled with a nice dollop of vanilla frosting and tasted just like a slice of carrot cake. We devoured them and unfortunately didn't snap a photo. “Went in for breakfast today and picked up the cake for my fiances birthday. They were super busy, but the staff got everyone through quickly. Coffee and breakfast sandwiches were tasty, loved the bagels. We cut the cake tonight, it was moist and delicious. I barely got a pic because my sweetie was so anxious to cut into it. “Stopped by this cute shop needing a dose of caffeine after a long flight and fighting jet lag. The service was amazing and being from out of town the baristas were so kind to tell me what was in every beverage. Ended up ordering the Nutty Bee after they told me they make all their syrups in house. The beverage wasn't too sweet and really enjoyed the nutty flavor that came through What really impressed me was how friendly the shop owner was with all the customers and how she treats her employees. She seems to be very supportive and you can tell with all of the banners she enjoys making a positive difference in the community“

“Cute place, not as stylish as some city cafes, but that highlights that the focus is the food not the look. Every single food thing here is phenomenal. They're known for impeccable breads, though coincidentally the pastries are flawless, and the croissants aren't even too "bready". They rotate their selection-- we get about 12-14 items maybe once a month, and every single one is a knockout every time. Their coffee is also very good. The only improvement would be the service. I think there hasn't been a single time I've gone where they've actually gotten our large order right. Most recently, two bacon egg and cheeses were left off the receipt and just never made. This didn't detract from my rating though. The service is still kind and quick and the food quality more than makes up for it.“

It’s crazy that somehow transparency is being spun as a bad thing in some of these reviews. Any way I could go on and on about the cost of running a small business, but most people don’t care bc they aren’t in the arena. Their primary concern is the extra .45 their croissant costs.We are regulars. We order for our family and our clients. Everything is exceptional. I particularly love the salmon toast, almond croissant, tapos for a quick sweet, any of their counter sandwiches, grain bowl and the chick pea soup! I’m sure my kids have their favorites too. And my husband will eat literally everything there. “I had the pleasure of walking into Ziggys after trying to find fresh doughnuts other than your dunkin and honeydew processed ones that are everywhere. The prices are fantastic. The service was great. Even ended up sitting and having a chat even though it was going to be in and out. They do cash and card. The doughnuts were amazing. Will be there more often when time allows. It's so close to where I work on the water there in town.Parking: There are 2, 15 minute spot out front. Other than that other street parking is by permit but if you are just grabbing and going you should be fine.“
“So much more than Bagels. I love the chicken salad sandwich on a sesame bagel with onion and cucumbers. Or you can go with an egg sandwich, or my second go-to, the Lox bagel with capers, red onion, and tomato. If you are carb conscience, ask for it "scooped" and they will spoon out the bagel so you get mostly crust with what seems like more filling! You can even grill or toast your bagel sandwich in butter or plain and make it crispy. Great place, with great owners, and a good value, win.“
“My two favorite foods sound boring to some, but I can't help it -- I'm a savory food kind of person. I love nachos and I love BLTs, and it's amazing how many places have managed to not do these two things well. I have never been able to find a place that can make a good BLT, until now!I needed a quick lunch today and went here on a whim because it was close by. I saw they were closing soon, but there were people inside so I headed in. Sometimes small, local coffee shops can feel drafty or unkempt or just lifeless. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I'd want to sit there for hours. The temperature was just right, and the ambiance felt friendly and warm.I acknowledged that they were closing soon and asked if I could still order a sandwich. They replied in a way that felt welcoming, and not like I was imposing on them (which some places, 15 minutes prior to closing, would have). I ordered the BLT and used the restroom while I waited. Even the restroom was pleasant!I sat in one of the two window bays on a comfortable stool (again, perfect! sometimes they're way too high for a 4'10" to get up on, or off), with a complimentary cup of water (I love when cafes have serve yourself water). One of the servers brought my sandwich over and even on first glance I could tell it was going to be good. No wilted lettuce, no weird bread, perfect amount of mayo and bacon. It was the best BLT I've had at a restaurant, even better than I make at home.So, 5 stars for great ambiance, friendly, unrushed service, and a great BLT! Topsfeild Bake shop went above and beyond to help and deliver. Once they were delivered my family group text went on for hours as to how delicious and delighted they were with the delivery process. “Wow, wow, wow! Came here on a recommendation from a friend that works at Tendercrop Farm down the street. My husband and I were surprised to see so many cars coming in and out of the sizeable parking lot. Taking it as a good sign, we headed into the beautiful building. The line was long, but worth the wait! We grabbed a beautiful load of herb Parm sourdough, a cinnamon donut, a brioche chocolate mousse roll, ham and cheese croissant, two passion fruit tarts and two coffees. Came to a very reasonable total of $41. The coffee is great, and so far we've only tried the cinnamon donut but....WOW! It is so light and airy and delicious! Very very pleased. We were looking for a bakeshop near us ever since Bird & Wolf shutdown, and we are thrilled to find this gem that's only 10min away from our home.Only suggestion would be to possibly consider a slightly better system for order fulfillment. A single cashier who is also responsible for picking and packing everything leads to a bottleneck.Can't wait to go on a Friday night and try the dinner portion of this place. Really pleased!“

I casually stopped in but can honestly say I had the best piece of square pan pepperoni pizza and the best almond macaroon cookies that I have had in years! If I'm paying $18 for a really good breakfast sandwich and a very average cold brew, I do not think it's too much to ask for a smile and to be thanked for my business.
