Reviews for Café 26

This is the most generic breakfast place I’ve ever been to. Coffee served in paper cups that tasted like it was Keurig coffee. The pancakes were served with prepackaged butter and syrup, like McDonalds. No salt or pepper on the table for the eggs. This was an altogether unappealing meal. I will say they have good service which is the only reason they get 2 stars.

Went to Boston on vacation, was staying at The Godfrey and found this wonderful spot around the corner. Food was excellent, waitress was the friendliest I have ever met and atmosphere was so relaxing. Would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting downtown Boston.

Tasty and low key. Just what we needed before a day of touristing. Son had the loaded crepes and I had a pain au chocolat. I managed to snag a piece of Nutella covered fruit before he attempted to lick the plate clean. People around us had a variety of egg and meat dishes, all of which were a hearty serving. I didn't hear one complaint from anyone. Side note: they are halal so no pork products, but that didn't seem to slow down any of the diners eating their sausage and full review
