“This place is great. You get what you pay for. We came at 3pm and were served by DeeDee. She was great, didn’t know how much drinks cost but damn were they good. The funny thing is we can back at 1am and the bouncer said that DeeDee hasn’t worked here in ages. Not sure if DeeDee was a ghost but all in all a great experience. Highly recommend.“

Free play pool on Saturday until 6.Free popcorn.Touch tunes jukebox is present but while it was empty, the bar was playing a punk rock radio station on XM.There's a bunch of street parking or the CVS lot across the street.“
“My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this pub for dinner on a Saturday night. Despite the busy evening, we were seated promptly. The atmosphere was just right - not too noisy, allowing us to have a peaceful conversation. The pub has a decent amount of seating, considering its size. The staff were friendly, laid back, and added to the relaxed vibe of the place. Overall, it was a no-fuss, enjoyable dining experience. We’d definitely recommend to anyone coming to the area.“
“Stopped in for a quick beer before a meeting at The Grand Lodge of Masons in Massachusetts. The bar is the same as I remember from 40 plus years ago. Iconic is the best description. Great service, cheap and cold beer. I wish I could have stayed. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.“

“The atmosphere is very cozy and tight knit, with the good lighting and comically large selection of beers this place is awesome for anyone wanting to sit down and have a pint. Met a cool regular my first time in and he recommended me and my buddy try the steak bomb, non-frozen chicken tenders, and one of the burgers. We did just that. As a southern man, fried chicken runs in me veins. The chicken here nearly made me shed tears. Probably some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever eaten. Got the double barbecue bacon burger, easily top four or top three burgers I’ve eaten. The steak bomb is delicious too. The portions are large considering the price. I grant the title of southern certified ™ eatin’s.“
“Yesterday afternoon (12/30/23), my friends I were welcomed right away by the very friendly and fun regulars and Ray who was tending bar. Within 10 minutes we felt like family and after a couple of hours, singing, dancing and bonding, they asked us to come back every weekend...and we wish we could!. We will definitely be back though! This is an immaculately well run, cozy, warm, perfect spot to hang out and have a few drinks. (Impeccably clean restroom as well!) Hidden gem 100%.“

“Walked here before a concert. We grabbed a high top and stole chairs from other people's tables they weren't using. We were trying to order food on the app when the bartender came over. She was super nice, asked if we needed drinks. Gave some recommendations. We started with tatchos, a Vermont cider and a Long Island. We also ordered burgers. I did not expect the food to be as good as it was. The burger was really greasy but honestly I haven't had a burger like that in so long-it was welcomed. Everything was so damn good. If we didn't live 2 hours away it would easily have been a regular visit.“
“It’s a no nonsense bar. Went before a Celtics game and even though it was busy no one was waiting for a drink. Beer was cold, priced fairly, good pours on the spirits, friendly efficient service, game day atmosphere, happy customers. Definitely coming back here next time I’m catching a game.“
“Great staff, cheap beer, close to transit, open late. what else could you want?There are two sections of the bar, the main room you enter into which is usually loud and a back room which is a little quieter. Decent amount of seating at bars and tables. They have a few arcade games, an N64, and darts.Wheelchair accessibility: Someone with a wheelchair will be able to enter the main bar area. Difficult to access back room and bathrooms due to step/stairs. Most tables are high tops so they would be awkward to sit at with a chair.“
“Awesome comedy show every Saturday! 10 comics, 10 mins each, for just $10 in a very intimate setting. Audience were probably mostly students from BU across the street, a couple of tourists. I really enjoyed the variety of comedian performing. Most were pretty good, a couple from out of town were so-so, and 3 or 4 were super funny. Especially a very funny lady from Philly sharing about her OnlyFans customer service story, and a guy sharing his childhood story of being bullied in Germany during year abroad, and the last comic who celebrated his birthday and shared story about his gay marriage.“
“Came to Boston on a girls trip. Found this awesome gem by total chance. It became our favorite place. We came back every night and had the best time. Paul and Chris were fantastic, the music was on point, and the folks we met became our best friends, immediately. 100/10 would recommend to all for a great spot to enjoy a drink.“
