Service was excellent. Andre is a an amazing employee. Ambience was deceiving because we saw a video on social media of downstairs and the decor and ambience are like day and night compared to upstairs. Apparently downstairs is only open Friday and Saturday. Food wise, burrata and cheese and meat board was nice and bread was very good. Pasta was not wow but was good. We were expecting more from the pasta and from the ambience. Overall it's good but not a wow/5*/10out10
Vegetarian options: Did not apply to our family group so not sure I remember the options.Dietary restrictions: The servers were aware that some patrons may have dietary restrictions and asked before we ordered. None of us had any.

Such a great restaurant! We hadn’t made a reservation anywhere in the North End and were just trying to find some pasta. Thankfully, Florentine Cafe was able to seat us right away. We were tucked down in the basement, which was a very cool atmosphere. The food was incredible! I built my own pasta dish and had the pink vodka sauce and linguine and added rabe broccoli. The flavors were perfect. Would definitely recommend!
