“Went only once last night so don't want to knock any stars. But, my biggest suggestion is that please include pictures of sake bottles (even just labels) next to the title on your online menu. Right now, it's paragraphs after paragraphs of many many sakes. I got analysis paralysis after a few seconds.”

“Widowmaker always has a solid selection, with that comes an amazing seasonal rotation and a few surprises mixed in. I prefer IPAs and Sours and Widowmaker does not disappoint. Dogs are encouraged!”

“We made a reservation as we were a party of 6 and sat on the second floor, which was next to the bar. We loved the character of the building, as it added to the atmosphere. The one critique was that for a cold evening, the air conditioning was on very high and blew cold air on us for the first half of our meal. The drinks were good, however they ran out of the beer two in our party were drinking, so they opted for soda instead of a second round. The loaded tots, although unconventional, were to die for and I would go back just for those! The fish tacos were okay, but would have benefited from the avocado being sliced thinner and or made into more of a guac and the plantains were strange-kind of soggy rather than crisp. They ran out of marinara sauce for the kids pasta we ordered, but the chicken fingers were good. The brisket grilled cheese was amazing and the Cajun pasta was also good. The pot pie was flavorful, but dry. Our server was attentive and got us in and out quickly, in time for the BC game we were scheduled to attend. Overall a good choice for the area and would visit again.”

“I love StockYard. We haven't been in a long time as we moved faraway. Now, after 10 years we came back and it was like we never stopped coming to eat here. The food was super delicious. The NY Sirloin, and the tenderness of the Fille Minog was extraordinary. Outstanding customer service. The drinks were superb. And the complimentary chocolate cake with ice cream for Father's day was out of this world. Thank you.”

“I HAD to write a review.. it's SO GOOD!!! I ordered off of Doordash because I haven't seen it before and saw the good reviews and noticed some very authentic recipes on the menu and decided to give it a try.

No regrets, the Bai Toey drink brings me back to my childhood with the wonderful pandan flavor and tastes so refreshing as a tea. The Tom Yum Sukhothai was phenomenal, the broth was as balanced as my Yah's broth which really takes me back, too.

I definitely want to try the chicken claw soup next time, since they definitely didn't disappoint with the classic tom yum!”

“Thonglor — Come for the Khao Soi, Stay Because You Can’t Stop Eating It

If I could write a love letter to a bowl of noodles, it would be to Thonglor’s khao soi. The broth? Rich, silky, and just the right amount of spicy — like it knows how to flirt without burning you. The chicken? Falls apart like my self-control when I see this dish on the menu. And that crispy fried noodle topping? The perfect crunchy mic drop.

Order it once and you’ll spend the rest of your week wondering how soon is too soon to come back without looking suspicious.”

“Highly recommend for hand pulled noodles(the name is a pretty hard giveaway). The bouncy texture and flavorful soup options are what you’ll want on a cold rain day or after a good workout. I would order the vegetable dumplings and vegetable mala pot or just pot, if spicy food is not for you (for any vegetarians and everyone) to try.”

“One of my favorite spots in Brighton, it was my second time coming in with my partner and we were received with the same attention than our first time. We are very adventurous eaters, we orders for appetizers the steamed pork and cabbage dumplings and the sweet and sour ribs and for our main course the Bull Frog dish, and the pork kidney with bean paste, and the waitress/owner described the dish very well and let us know they will be small bones, she wanted to make sure we liked the dish and we sure did.

She also gave us a complementary dish that was the only one I took a picture of, it was fried sausage with a fresh cabbage salad, it was honestly so good, sweet spicy and meaty!!

“This place has all the advantages of the Caffe Nero that it used to be without any of the disadvantages. In other word's it's spacious, has a variety of furniture and seating options (equally good spot for solo laptop work, relaxed book time, group meeting), lots of outlets, nice big windows, a great menu with reasonable price point. Compared to before the business turned over the coffee is better (IMO) and cheaper and the place no longer feels depressing in that way that carbon copy coffee franchises do. The people who work here are so nice and there is always a place to sit! In fact it's too easy to find a spot—please visit Cafe Lava and Bento and support this business so that we can keep them around.”

“I stopped by Notch Brewing Brighton just for the beer, and I’m glad I did. I tried The Standard, Dunkel, Salem Lager, and a few others — each one showed off a different side of their lager game. The Standard was crisp and classic, the Dunkel had a nice malty depth without feeling heavy, and the Salem was super clean with a dry finish that I really liked.

What stood out to me was the consistency. Every pour was clean, balanced, and precise — which isn’t easy with lagers. There’s no room to mask imperfections, and Notch nails it across the board.

The space itself is laid-back with a casual crowd, perfect for focusing on the beer. As someone who works around flavors a lot, I really appreciate when simple things are done this well. I’ll definitely come back — next time I’ll take my time and go through the full lineup properly.”

Street parking may be somewhat difficult depending on time of day.”
