“I came in here because I was in the neighborhood. I was in the need for a quick breakfast sandwich. I got a croissaint, bacon, scrambled egg and swiss cheese and let me tell you the sandwich did not disappoint. I also had the marshmallow New England coffee flavor a suggestion by the staff who must be Mara who was very friendly and happy :) They have plenty of seating and a large selection of sandwiches. “The holiday margaritas were amazing to start, my boyfriend said wow about 6x while eating the calamari which was breaded IN HOUSE which definitely gives you the WOWZA feeling, I ordered the sautéed lobster roll and he ordered the blackened fish. And WOW the lobster roll was the best I've ever had EVER, it just melted in your mouth and paired with garlic butter and toasted bread MUAH perfectooo also came with sweet potato fries. The blackened fish came with sausage and shrimp with a creole sauce and it was gone in seconds.. we were so happily full after. Talked about the food alllll the way home and how great it was!! Service was also soo great, our server was so sweet and recommended just about every single thing we ordered!”

“I was in for drinks on a weeknight last week. I have to give them credit for an unusual beer menu, in a good way. Not the standard rotation. I had a Jack's Abby lager in a can; my friend had cider on tap! We got parm fries, which were excellent and well portioned. The wings were a 3/5: not bad, not great. The menu looks improved from Covid, so I'll be back to try the burger.”

“Been here many times. I legit think the French toast here is the best I've ever had (and I have had a lot of French toast). It's so perfectly fried, and there are many delicious topping choices. My favorite I've tried is the seasonal pumpkin one in the fall. Bit of a sweetness overload though, can't finish it all. But hot tip: they do half portions of French toast so you can combine it with something savory. I also like their sandwiches, biscuits, and home fries. Despite a lot of love for their pancakes, I'd say they are just fine. Mixed experiences with service are making me dock a star. Sometimes they are very slow and inattentive. Even with reservations, they sometimes make you wait a good bit for a table. I guess it makes sense since this place is SO busy. Without reservations, the wait on weekends is insane. So def recommend making one or coming on a weekday.”

“My wife and I found ourselves stuck in Cambridge as a result of certain family entanglements. We were feeling glum with no bright options for spending the evening. THEN.... we stumbled into Pammys and things went technicolor. We were seated at the southeast end of bar and were almost immediately sipping a 29 degree Martini and an Oaxaca Old Fashioned. In addition to being a really great bar full of fashionable, chatty and probably interesting local people, Pammy's also has a full menu of really great food including asparagus served with a cured egg yolk and a circle of something very tasty that resembles a large egg white cut into a slice. We also tried crispy mushrooms, some fish, pasta, bread pudding and some really delicious bread (which is offered free of charge, at least at the bar.) The staff of the restaurant, including a woman who I believe was the Eponymous Pammy of Pammys, were all very friendly and made us feel welcome being in Cambridge. We met a very nice person from Maine which was another exciting wrinkle to the experience. We will definitely go back the next time life throws us a curveball and we are stuck in the Boston metro area. A big thanks to Pammys for salvaging our night!”
“I've tried Ernesto's North End on two occasions. The first time I ordered pizza by the slice which was reheated to order. The second occasion I ordered a whole pizza which they made to order. The fresh pizza was much better than the pizza by the slice. The whole pizza took under 10 minutes to make. The crust was perfect and crunchy without the flop. The cheese and ricotta cheese topping was a little thick and kept falling off. But overall very good pizza. I'd say 5 star for the fresh made pizza and 3 star for the pizza by the slice. Workers were very friendly and the pizza with toppings was about $27 which was very reasonable.”

Coolest restaurant menu I’ve ever seen, annotated with so much meaning and history behind every ingredient and dish. I ordered two drinks, a main, and a side. Everything was delicious.
