“My daughter took my husband and I to this wonderful place and the soup was wonderful! The staff is very helpful! Uber or if you live close walk! We drove and luckily found a space to park. The place is small but it is so worth getting the Tofu soup. The other items are so well prepared!“

“I used to go here years ago for their bulgogi tacos, quesadilla, and kimchi fries and have never been able to find the time to go. I went the other day to get kimchi fries before work and I am so glad I did! It's a tiny spot for mostly takeout and I ordered kimchi fries with bulgogi. When I went to pickup my food they told me they accidentally made it with spicy pork so I could either keep the pork or they would remake it. They were very nice about it but I was fine with spicy pork and they ended up giving me both spicy pork and beef. I don't know why I haven't gotten these more these past few years because they are still as amazing as they were years ago. Hot fries with kimchi, bulgogi, different sauces and a runny egg on top. One of the best meals and it was $13!“

He loves it.Wheelchair accessibility: Level entrance to sidewalk, seating layout and bathrooms are pretty spacious.“

“This is my second visit to Boston and my second visit to Kimichipapi Kitchen! I keep coming for the Korean corn dog! It's so good and I love bringing my friends to try them as well! We have also tried the teokbokki from here and it's delicious too! It's small location so the service and ambiance are pretty chill!“

“Food was incredibly delicious! I got to try the sweet potato corn dog and chicken teriyaki egg toast. My boyfriend had the half mozzarella dog and bacon egg toast. For an additional $0.99 you can get garlic bread for your egg toast. Nothing crazy but enhanced the flavors of the egg toast for sure. The mango peach slush was yummy and helped wash everything down. Ohkdog is located in a busy Hmart, so it can be a bit hectic. They have limited seating in the middle of the food court if you wish to dine-in. Overall, staff was friendly and food was filling. I am gluten-sensitive and would love to see more allergen-friendly options, but I understand they are corn dogs, which are classically made with wheat flour.“

“Used to be such a spot with all the ayce options but i get it, times are tough with inflation and stuff so no more ayce but this place still has everything. If you're hanging out with picky eaters, you can't go wrong with royals. They got hot pot (which i think was decent fair warning could get very spicy), sushi which they offer lots of cool maki rolls and korean bbq which was ok. Our only complaint is everything is a lil pricey for the amount of food we got. Service was quick and they put your meat and orders on cool display carts and stuff. We might go back again and probably will try karaoke downstairs next time (yes! They also have karaoke and a cotton candy machine lol)“
“my fav donut spot in the area, decent location too with the different food places next to it and the market behind! i usually park in the lot and walk down a few mins to kimchipapi and get donuts before i leave! the donuts are the perfect amount of chewy and the icing adds a fun flavor :3 i love how they change most of the flavors every week! def recommend“

“This is the first place where they served half/half option for jjajangmyun and jjambbong like they usually do back home in Korea. I appreciated the option for that because I love both and I would always have to choose! The ttangsuyuk was also pretty good and they gave a good amount too (we already ate a few before taking the pic). The employee was also SUPER friendly even though it was at night and the food came out fast as well. There is a lot of space in the place to sit and is clean as well. I would come back again if I'm in the area!“

“Incredible experience! Wait staff were very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Food was cooked to perfection for us over a charcoal grill. Very tasty sides dishes. Next time in Boston we will definitely be back. One of our waiters, Jinoh, was in training and gave great service! Hello from Nova Scotia Jinoh!“

“Only just realized I've been coming here for 10+ years but have yet to leave a review. Small, family owned business with love & effort put into everything coming out of the kitchen. Great spot for breakfast & lunch during the week. Highly recommend a breakfast sandwich in the AM or a spicy pork plate for the afternoon! Love supporting Bonne Chance Cafe, thanks ya'll.“

“Each experience we've had here has been wonderful. The flavors are perfectly balanced and the quality of the ingredients is high. The staff are friendly, and we especially love that the owner always remembers us and offers us extra kimchi because she knows how much we love it. Wide ranging menu that offers great options for all, including our kids.“

“Seoul Topokki makes it high on our high taste-per-dollar list. Korean culinary tradition includes doctor’s advice - food is medicine there, by tradition, and there’s a wide assortment of healthy options for the budget-conscious. Most of our fellow diners were school-age, almost entirely Asian. We ordered Bulgogi Topokki, along with a Vergetable Korean pancake. New to us, Topokki refers to mochi-like rice cylinders, about the size of Penne pasta, but solid core, and is the specialty of the house, offered in a variety of combinations. The taste of both dishes, but particularly the beef broth, was off-the-charts great. My only complaint is a familiar one, having encountered this often at mid-priced and budget Asian restaurants -the beef consisted of some tender bits, but also beef slices that were so tough they were almost inedible. The shame of it is, this is easily prevented by slow-cooking the beef for at least a few hours, but apparently Topokki (and many other places) either aren’t on to this culinary technique, or don’t choose to invest the preparation time to get a really exceptional dish.I took my leftover beef and broth home, and slow-cooked the leftover beef, holding the broth on the side, along with some store-bought marked-down trimmed beef rib bones, cheap because it’s ostensibly for soup, with the desirable beef rib meat cut off. Cooked for 3 hours with onions at 250º, it became exceedingly tender, and with the Topokki broth added back along with some vegetables, it was extremely delicious and satisfying. The place is very comfortable and welcoming, and the staff is great. The picnic-style tables have nice rounded edges, and the chairs are wide, and the restrooms clean. We will defintitely be going back - but not for the beef, next time. We hope to hear back that they’ve decided to pre-cook or slow-cook the beef to alleviate the toughness - it’s a trick that works great on even the cheapest cuts of beef. It’d also be nice to see some capsaicin sauce on the table - we didn’t see it and it wasn’t offered.“

“We got take out delivery via Uber Eats from OliToki. The tteokbokki was a bit over-cooked, and the chicken add-on in the kimchi fried rice was very dry. Definitely tastes like fusion food rather than authentic, which is what we expected. Overall very filling!“
“Justin and his team served at my wedding last month and their cooking and service could not have been better. Our friends and family are still talking about their bibimbap- even my Korean grandmother gave her stamp of approval on the taste and authenticity! Thank you guys again- see you soon!“

“Really authentic and high quality korean food. They take pride in the small free appetizers: kimchi, pickled radish, and sesame broccoli. The kimchi pancake, japche, and beef stone bibim bap were right on! So tasty and made with quality in mind!“

“Perillas has one focus: Quality Food. With three locations in Boston, their recently opened spot in Lower Allston is quietly tucked away near Shabu Shabu Spring. A casual Korean kitchen with just a couple people with food that packs a punch. The staff was very welcoming when I walked in getting my order and answering my questions about the menu. There is also a kiosk to place your order as well when they get busy. They have a few tables to sit down and eat but I feel like they get a lot of pickup and to go orders as well. I had seen some of their bowls in pictures online and they looked very small but in person they have so much food in them. My friend and I got our own bowls and shared a quesadilla and I ate most of the quesadilla but realized I was too full to eat the other 90% of the bowl lol. Rookie mistake but the leftovers slapped. My favorite thing for sure was the bulgogi beef quesadilla which was just so flavorful and filling. The bowls were all delicious from the different sides it came with to the side sauces which were all unique in their flavor. I need those recipes. I will need to check out the haymarket location as well as they have some different items there like kimbap. “Really enjoyed the soup and how you could decide for yourself how much salt and pepper to add. Also, as most korean restaurants do they serve banchan/side dishes, which is great. The kimchi in the banchan was very bland though. My only dislike about this place is that they appear to want you to leave as soon as possible. I was not yet done with my meal and there goes the check to pay. I understand there is usually a line here during the dinner time but still the servers could exercise abit more patience.“

“The food is excellent, everything is made in house as far as I can tell. The ban chan is always unique and creative. Obviously their Bibimbap is to die for, but their Korean Grill items keep me coming back. The pork belly is divine!! The owners/chefs are probably the sweetest people I have ever met and treat us like family. What a treat to eat!!“

“I recently visited this SGD Dubu near Braintree, MA, during my trip to Boston, MA, and it was a delightful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was top-notch. We tried the Tteok-bokki, which was incredibly flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The noodles from the soup with beef were a hit at our table, and the seafood scallion pancake was a must-try. What sets this place apart is its limited menu, which ensures that each dish is of excellent quality. They also offer lunch specials, which are worth it. Additionally, the food was served promptly, which was great since we were a group of 9. The best part was that they were happy to accommodate splitting the payments. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I would highly recommend."“
“Went there with an old school friend who works in the same company. We shared "Bokum Jambong". It far exceeded my expectations for a food court. Furthermore, my friend kept on pointing out the ample seafood ingredients used (Large & Small Shrimp, Muscle, Squid, ...). Definitely will go back to try other dishes based on this experience. Service outstanding also.“

“I recommend for a party of 3+ and order Gamjatng. The soup is tasty, the pork bone with meat is very very soft. Pancake was the MVP for this meal. The spicy pork feet we ordered has a smell, avoid to eat skin, but the meat and taste recommend to order.“

“Enjoyed the 갈비 비빔밥 (Galbi Bibimbap) which is essentially marinated beef short rib in a mixture of white rice and fresh vegetables and a fried egg. It was delicious and an enjoyable experience watching the food cook in the hot bowl right in front of me. The rice at the bottom crisped up and gave the dish that extra crunch I was not expecting. It was a pleasant surprise and I'd come again.“

“Got the wings and fries combo. Wings were good quality. The soy garlic sauce is a tiny bit strong on the soy taste, but was solid. The fries were nice and crisp and the nori seasoning on top was a nice add. Definitely a contender compared to Bonchons and BBQ Chicken with the ability to combo being a big plus over the other two.“

“My husband and I really enjoyed our evening here. My stomach was a little funny so I went low key and got a miso soup, a single chicken skewer and a avo-cucumber roll. It was the perfect amount of food for me at that moment. All three items were delish. My husband got the Kimchi Jigae and he liked it very much. This place was HOPPING by the time we left. It's clearly well liked - even the bar seating was full. We were served quickly and kindly by the waitstaff and they were moving people along. I hope to get to visit this restaurant again when I am able to eat more!“

“Yummy Korean comfort food in a casual setting. The Soondubu tofu stew is tasty and you can adjust the spice level. The fried chicken bites are yummy even at the plain/mild spice level. Wish I could have tried more yummy things, maybe next time. It was packed for lunch with a line out the door.“

“My partner had never tried Korean food so I took him here! What a fabulous spot. The food is just delicious and the service is great. We both had sizzling dolsot bibim bap and it was so lovely - a great mix of flavors and ingredients, all served in a sizzling stone bowl. They also have a nice selection of soju and other fruit wines. Looking forward to going back here!“
