“I recently visited this SGD Dubu near Braintree, MA, during my trip to Boston, MA, and it was a delightful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was top-notch. We tried the Tteok-bokki, which was incredibly flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The noodles from the soup with beef were a hit at our table, and the seafood scallion pancake was a must-try. What sets this place apart is its limited menu, which ensures that each dish is of excellent quality. They also offer lunch specials, which are worth it. Additionally, the food was served promptly, which was great since we were a group of 9. The best part was that they were happy to accommodate splitting the payments. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I would highly recommend."“
“Everything very rich, clean and acceptable. The place is small but efficient, as they say “to the bread, bread and wine, wine” that is, you get to the point; You eat, pay and leave.Dietary restrictions: They have signs so you can inform if you are allergic to any ingredient.“
“Superb home cooked style Korean food. Everything I had popped with flavor. They also served something I have never seen (or thought was possible) before, apple Kimchi! Believe it or not it was actually pretty tasty! I will definitely be going back!“
“A lot roomier than their Burlington location, better produce and fresh seafood selections as well(really great service at the fish dept) Their weekly loss leaders aren't the best priced but the good shopping experience make up for it. No food court at the premises like other locations however.“
“My daughter took my husband and I to this wonderful place and the soup was wonderful! The staff is very helpful! Uber or if you live close walk! We drove and luckily found a space to park. The place is small but it is so worth getting the Tofu soup. The other items are so well prepared!“
“I used to go here years ago for their bulgogi tacos, quesadilla, and kimchi fries and have never been able to find the time to go. I went the other day to get kimchi fries before work and I am so glad I did! It's a tiny spot for mostly takeout and I ordered kimchi fries with bulgogi. When I went to pickup my food they told me they accidentally made it with spicy pork so I could either keep the pork or they would remake it. They were very nice about it but I was fine with spicy pork and they ended up giving me both spicy pork and beef. I don't know why I haven't gotten these more these past few years because they are still as amazing as they were years ago. Hot fries with kimchi, bulgogi, different sauces and a runny egg on top. One of the best meals and it was $13!“
“Just tried this place tonight during our visit to see our son at BU and OMG! The food was ah-mazing!! We had the bibimbap, takoyaki, Korean fried chicken and a Korean corn dog (very interesting). The portion sizes are very generous to boot. Everything was soooo good and that’s saying a lot as we are a foodie family. We live in S. Maine where there are incredible places to eat. This place is small and quaint and the staff are sweet. I never write reviews on anything but felt compelled after eating here. Try it! You won’t be sorry. We will definitely go back on our next visit for sure!“
“my fav donut spot in the area, decent location too with the different food places next to it and the market behind! i usually park in the lot and walk down a few mins to kimchipapi and get donuts before i leave! the donuts are the perfect amount of chewy and the icing adds a fun flavor :3 i love how they change most of the flavors every week! def recommend“
“This is the first place where they served half/half option for jjajangmyun and jjambbong like they usually do back home in Korea. I appreciated the option for that because I love both and I would always have to choose! The ttangsuyuk was also pretty good and they gave a good amount too (we already ate a few before taking the pic). The employee was also SUPER friendly even though it was at night and the food came out fast as well. There is a lot of space in the place to sit and is clean as well. I would come back again if I'm in the area!“
“Incredible experience! Wait staff were very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Food was cooked to perfection for us over a charcoal grill. Very tasty sides dishes. Next time in Boston we will definitely be back. One of our waiters, Jinoh, was in training and gave great service! Hello from Nova Scotia Jinoh!“
“Very small space, but the decor is cute. There are only three tables, so not good for large parties. I recommend taking to-go. The bulgogi beef burrito is my favorite. The sauces are good, and it is filling. I haven’t been here in years, so I am not sure if the quality is the same.“
“Only just realized I've been coming here for 10+ years but have yet to leave a review. Small, family owned business with love & effort put into everything coming out of the kitchen. Great spot for breakfast & lunch during the week. Highly recommend a breakfast sandwich in the AM or a spicy pork plate for the afternoon! Love supporting Bonne Chance Cafe, thanks ya'll.“
“Great restaurant for classic Korean foods. Recommend the combo menus for either Seoleong-tang or Galbi-tang with a choice of grilled meat. There are some meter parkings in the front by chance. Or try meter parkings on Harvard ave and make walk.“
“Seoul Topokki makes it high on our high taste-per-dollar list. Korean culinary tradition includes doctor’s advice - food is medicine there, by tradition, and there’s a wide assortment of healthy options for the budget-conscious. Most of our fellow diners were school-age, almost entirely Asian. We ordered Bulgogi Topokki, along with a Vergetable Korean pancake. New to us, Topokki refers to mochi-like rice cylinders, about the size of Penne pasta, but solid core, and is the specialty of the house, offered in a variety of combinations. The taste of both dishes, but particularly the beef broth, was off-the-charts great. My only complaint is a familiar one, having encountered this often at mid-priced and budget Asian restaurants -the beef consisted of some tender bits, but also beef slices that were so tough they were almost inedible. The shame of it is, this is easily prevented by slow-cooking the beef for at least a few hours, but apparently Topokki (and many other places) either aren’t on to this culinary technique, or don’t choose to invest the preparation time to get a really exceptional dish.I took my leftover beef and broth home, and slow-cooked the leftover beef, holding the broth on the side, along with some store-bought marked-down trimmed beef rib bones, cheap because it’s ostensibly for soup, with the desirable beef rib meat cut off. Cooked for 3 hours with onions at 250º, it became exceedingly tender, and with the Topokki broth added back along with some vegetables, it was extremely delicious and satisfying. The place is very comfortable and welcoming, and the staff is great. The picnic-style tables have nice rounded edges, and the chairs are wide, and the restrooms clean. We will defintitely be going back - but not for the beef, next time. We hope to hear back that they’ve decided to pre-cook or slow-cook the beef to alleviate the toughness - it’s a trick that works great on even the cheapest cuts of beef. It’d also be nice to see some capsaicin sauce on the table - we didn’t see it and it wasn’t offered.“

“I'm so excited to see this spot expand and grow throughout (and outside) Boston! It's such a delicious, easy and affordable spot to get some quick Korean food - in bowl form. I've tried their pork belly and bulgogi - both were delicious. Can't wait to see this place continue to thrive!“
“I recommend for a party of 3+ and order Gamjatng. The soup is tasty, the pork bone with meat is very very soft. Pancake was the MVP for this meal. The spicy pork feet we ordered has a smell, avoid to eat skin, but the meat and taste recommend to order.“
“Justin and his team served at my wedding last month and their cooking and service could not have been better. Our friends and family are still talking about their bibimbap- even my Korean grandmother gave her stamp of approval on the taste and authenticity! Thank you guys again- see you soon!“
“We were seated quickly, really different and positive experience. Food was very good. We didn't get adventurous with the all the intestine options, but what we got was very delicious. Atmosphere was very cool, the waiter was very nice and attentive. Overall, I reccomend the experience.“
“My partner had never tried Korean food so I took him here! What a fabulous spot. The food is just delicious and the service is great. We both had sizzling dolsot bibim bap and it was so lovely - a great mix of flavors and ingredients, all served in a sizzling stone bowl. They also have a nice selection of soju and other fruit wines. Looking forward to going back here!“
“Loud music, uncomfortable seating, QR code menu type place. Food was awesome though !! I got udon noodles and the consistency of the noodles was great. Also got dumplings for an appetizer and they were tasty too. Super quiet at 8pm which was nice.“

“We came here for garden Patio Opening. The staff was friendly and helpful. We got the Lychee Sangria and ginger Lemonade. They both were favor and refreshing. We ordered the Cheesesteak Dumpling, KBBQ Quesadilla, and KBBQ Galbi. Love the fusion of favors . The Quesadilla was tasty twist to a classical item. The Dumplings were pack with favor in a bite size piece. My favorite has to be the Galbi it was smokey, tender and juicy. Definitely will be back“
“Got the wings and fries combo. Wings were good quality. The soy garlic sauce is a tiny bit strong on the soy taste, but was solid. The fries were nice and crisp and the nori seasoning on top was a nice add. Definitely a contender compared to Bonchons and BBQ Chicken with the ability to combo being a big plus over the other two.“
“I come here everyday - I am especially appreciative of the quality and pricing of the lunch bento boxes. My favorite items are the unagi bento box, pork katsu curry, caterpillar roll, tekka maki, and miso soup. They are priced very well, taste great, and are provided with impeccable service and consistency each time.“
“I ordered beef bibmbom and beef kimchi soup and Tangcurou and requested delivery. But I couldn’t find where is my food after website showed delivered. I was so disappointed about the delivery service. Then I called the restaurant and they help to redo a new set for me. There are really good service and perfect food. Really appreciate the restaurant.“
“Such yummy sushi at the JP Seafood Cafe! It's the local's favorite sushi spot in JP. I'm here today to write an ode to my favorite sushi roll of theirs that, as a Mexican-American, fills my soul with pure joy.The "Sunshine Maki" roll is a very simple, yet heavenly delight of salmon, lemon, cilantro and cucumber. No one else in Boston makes this kind of roll! Whoever thought of adding lemon and cilantro to a salmon cuke roll needs to be promoted immediately. This spot always has the friendliest staff who work hard to deliver the quality we know and love. It's a great place for a date night inside by the fish tank or outside in the summer on the patio. Viva la JP Seafood Cafe!“
“Overall disappointing compared to my last visit in August. The batter is light and crispy as I expected and I like the small touch of having the sauce separated out by the chef. But I think the sauce was a little too sour for me.The 짬뽕, on the other hand, was not how it tasted compared to last August. The noodles and the rest of the topping didn't have the soup flavor in them, so they felt like they weren't mixing well together. The soup itself had a nice flavor but didn't have the depth that I had last time I was here. The place seems much more crowded but that may have caused a lower food quality as a result.“
“The food was delicious. The service was good and helpful if a bit over-extended. The atmosphere was not what we were anticipating but that may be on us for not knowing hotpot is the Eastern equivalent of taking the family to the Cheesecake Factory.“
