“Our recent visit to Stars, despite its fine dining reputation, left much to be desired. Although the food was decent, it didn't quite live up to the exceptional standard one would expect from such a high-end establishment. While enjoyable, it lacked the innovative flair and outstanding quality that would justify the steep price tag. Furthermore, the demeanor and professionalism of our server were disappointing. Their overly relaxed posture and casual behavior, such as resting a knee on a chair, detracted from the sophisticated ambiance we had anticipated. In fine dining settings, attentive and polished service is paramount in enhancing the overall experience. Additionally, external factors marred the restaurant's ambiance, notably the intrusion of guests from an adjacent meeting room. Their casual attire and disruptive movement through the dining area disrupted the refined atmosphere expected of a fine dining establishment. Overall, while our experience wasn't disastrous, it fell short of our expectations considering the hefty price we paid. We had hoped for a more seamless and refined dining experience. It's evident that there's room for improvement in both the service and ambiance aspects of Stars to truly justify its premium pricing.“
“Had a great meal and drinks here. We had the cioppino and steak tips Greek salad special. Friendly service from the hot daddy behind the bar. He noticed a fly in my friends last sip of wine and tossed it poured her a whole new glass. We love.“

“I am finally taking the time to add my review of Spinnaker. Right from the start Andrea the co-owner is the most accommodating, friendly and upbeat person you will ever meet. She is always willing to fit my wife and I in and always welcomes us like family to the restaurant. The service is stellar, a great group of professional team members that treat all patrons like royalty. The atmosphere is quaint and very comfortable. Very good sound levels and no bad tables. Rob, co-owner and chef is as good as you will ever find on the cape. The food is consistently excellent and you can tell he takes pride in every meal that leaves the kitchen. Rob and Andrea have a background in food preparations with roots in the North End of Boston as well as Italy. The menu is not extensive but every meal is of the highest quality. There is a good mix of seafood, Italian and American cuisine. My wife and I believe that Spinnaker has raised food to the next level on Cape Cod“

“With some trepidation we dined here after reading a couple of negative remarks. However……. It was fantastic. Debbie was attentive but not obtrusive. The food was first class and brought promptly. We both had the Shrimp and scallops starter - great choice. Claire had the baked Cod and I had the fillet. All was cooked to perfection and delicious. I highly recommend dining here. Thank you!Parking: Plenty parking“

“I would suggest the 3 course tasting vs 7. Go for the tuna, the lobster pasta and the oysters! The 7 course got to be too much food and they really shine with those three top courses!Cocktails are very pricey but on par with resorts these days.“

“Our first time dining at the Barley Neck. It was a great find. Our server Peter, was amazing and the food didn't disappoint. Peter was so attentive, friendly and added a wonderful touch to our dining experience .Peter had recommended a popular cod dish on the menu and so glad he did . We appreciated his over and beyond service, even to double check that the cod dish hadn't sold out, since it was a hopping Saturday night.I had the garden salad and pizza special and my husband had the cod dish which we shared. We enjoyed every bite of such a wide spread of delicious flavors. If the night couldn't be any better we had great entertainment from a three member band ! This topped off a ideal and joyful evening. Thank you Peter and the skilled chefs at Barley Neck and great band!“

“We went on a snowy Friday and were able to be seated immediately. Food is always great but the winter salad was beyond great. Pizza and portabella sandwich were both satisfying. Host staff were very kind and the owner was making sure everyone was happy.“
“Thoreau's is the pub area of twenty-eight Atlantic at the Wequassett Resort in Cape Cod. We dined here one night, and at twenty-eight Atlantic the other night. Both experiences were fantastic. We loved the decor of Thoreau's, which is a little more laid back. All the paneled wooded walls in the dining room are really nice, but most importantly, the food and service at this establishment are fantastic! Both restaurants are a must visit, especially if you're staying at the resort.“

“Down here on a long weekend from the North Shore. Absolutely amazing restaurant. The atmosphere, service, quality of food and drink are second to none. Our 2 daughters have food allergies and they accommodated them with ease. Our server George was Top Shelf all around. Best Crock of French Onion I have ever had, the flatbreads were amazing, and the martinis were to die for. When we received the tab it was very reasonable. Looking to come back tomorrow for seconds!“

“Food was good, but not perfectly prepared. Delicious coffee, scrambled eggs, corned beef hash and popover — BUT, the popover was not only not hot, but actually cooler than room temp, and the corned beef hash was really more like pulled beef with some scattered potatoes. Nothing wrong with the flavor, but not really a hash. Prices are just a tad on the high side. The place is adorable, hip and comfortable. Service was very fast. I’ll definitely give it another try.“
