“J and J is my families new spot for Asain tasty treats. Jean is a fantastic owner. She makes you feel like family from the time you enter the establishment. Sushi was fresh and delicious. They even made a special chicken tempura roll for my wife and added it to their POS ordering system for future visits. We call it the Elisabet roll named after my wife of course. My kids smashed every morsel of food on their plates which is especially rare for my picky 6 year old daughter who just loved her fried rice and Salmon. Kids meals are adult size so it's a great value . I had two Scorpion ? Bowls which got me feeling pretty lively. I imagine moving forward we will be doning weekly at J & J . “This place is well known for sushi and takeout food. If you haven't tried the eat-in experience, I recommend it. The eat-in feels slightly elevated, though the only negative to it is that it is so small inside and the staff has nowhere to be except for the bar, which can feel a bit like crowding (not their fault, it just is what it is). We specifically came for the duck, which we have had in the past. This time, we got the mango crispy duck, and it was A+, just perfectly cooked and crispy yet tender. We also got spicy dumplings, which was a special. We loved them. In addition, we had the lo mein, which was fair. It seemed a bit oily for my tastes and lacked flavor. The scallion pancakes were fine, but served with a soy based sauce and not a plum sauce, which isn't typical around here. The cheese Rangoon (crab) was ok too. Overall, I can say for certain we will be back for that duck and the sushi (didn't have it this time, but consistently some of the best around). The drinks are also well made.“

“Good Sushi and suburbs are two concepts you don't always link together. Wakefield, in particular, was a bit of a food culture change for us, having grown up in the city and having lived in Somerville for years, so when this place showed up, we just had to try it. Well, we were blown away. This is some of the best sushi I've had in New England. My wife and I both have some dietary restrictions, which can be tricky with Japanese food, but Allen and his family were extremely accommodating and made us feel like 1st class citizens. Everything we got was fresh, made to order and was extremely enjoyable. I highly recommend the omakase menu if you have the time and appetite, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail put this place heads up just about any sushi shop around.“
“Stopped by looking for high quality sushi and was not disappointed. Although they were out of O-Toro, seeing the disappointment on my face the host graciously gave us kama toro on the house. Aside from the awesome customer service, the sushi quality was exquisite with a wider variety and personal touches that are hard to find outside of Japan. Will definitely be coming back here, the next time we are in the area!“

“They ALWAYS do such a great job with the quality, quantity and presentation of their food. Not to mention, their customer service is always top notch! We had a Christmas party and they kindly arranged the sushi on two big platters for us and also made sure the Uber Eats driver knew to be careful with our order because the sushi could easily move around inside the platters before it reached our house. “This is my go to sushi spot. If you're looking for a specialty roll, you need to try the sakura. Hands down the best roll I've ever had. The restraunt is extremely clean and warm. The staff are welcoming, and there is often a pianist playing some music.“

“This review is for takeout. The online order menu is not helpful for identifying gluten-free items, but the person on the phone was very knowledgeable and helpful. They packaged my sushi separately and offered gluten-free soy sauce. Everyone was happy with their food. I really liked the spicy tuna and the fatty tuna rolls.“
“You cannot go wrong ordering from here. It’s definitely a take-out place even though there are technically tables inside. The food is good for the price and reasonable/good portions compared to a few competitors in the area that cost a lot more. When I want sushi, I always prefer to order from here instead of the other restaurants that are nicer in terms of ambiance.“

“I stopped in and had an early dinner/late lunch.Ordered the roasted brussel sprouts and they were nicely charred and delicious. Along with the sprouts I had a Margarita, tasty..and the Hawaiian Burger an eclectic mix of 2 burger patties, lettuce , tomatoes , onion and now for the unusual toppings, Spam and Pineapple! I was curious and ate it just as served and the burger was good, definitely a good combo. The burger patties were of the "smash" variety and the only thing I'd say is they were more well done than I like. Overall the drinks, the food and the staff were great.“

“Feng's and Oye's restaurants has same owner and use same coupons. We ordered take-out and it was fine. I would not give 5 stars, but it definitely has solid 4 stars. We had vegetables fried rice and vegetables lo mein that was good, pineapple chicken rice has some spices that we didn't like and crab rangoon had too much extra stuff that was not needed such as lots of onions and not enough cream cheese. My opinion is 4 stars.“
“I've done take out from this place a few times now through a catering app for my job and this place never fails. Despite the large orders it gets, my food has always come on time and with great flavor. I'm not adventurous when it comes to sushi, rather I'm very basic. I have ordered the lunch combo with the crispy onion roll, crunchy shrimp roll, and shrimp dumplings and I've also tried the spicy shrimp tempura and edamame. My favorite has been the onion roll because of the crispy onions on top that provide so much flavor and the crunchy and fresh cucumber. The shrimp in my sushi has always been crispy and the rice is sticky, not hard. The only disappointment has been that the spicy shrimp tempura roll is not spicy but you can fix that with some sriracha. The edamame has a fresh taste.“
