“They open at 6:00 a.m. and I was the first person in the door. They have early bird specials which I was happy to see! They all come with coffee which was pretty good. I got the sausage egg and cheese sandwich which came with home fries. It was pretty good though I wish I had my choice of cheeses. I came with American, but I would have preferred cheddar. The gentleman working the counter was very nice.“

“Bayside is a restaurant/bar, or I should say a bar/restaurant. It's not a beautiful interior and no quiet romantic dining here. Many customers seem to be local regulars and I find it to be a friendly place. Every food item I have ordered has been fantastic. Their burgers are very good but their seafood is some of the freshest tasting that I have found in the New Bedford area. Most dishes are served with either fries or tater tots and they are great too.“

(Although I feel they should make it a special and make it year round) it’s that good! Best around HANDS DOWN! Better than Antonio’s or Captains place. Sorry not sorry. Kale soup!? Fairhaven Minerva’s 1000000% best around!“

“My husband and I went for dinner. They advertise open until 9 so we didn’t see any problem arriving at 7:30 because that was the earliest we could get there. The welcome was shocking! The girl who seated us looked right at the waitress and mouthed “sorry” right in our faces! Sorry? Sorry we bothered you to make more money and get a tip! The waitress was barely friendly at all. We were friendlier even though we should’ve just walked out. We felt rushed and unwelcome and will definitely be taking a break from going there! The food however, delicious as always!!“

“The pizza is great and they’re very nice, but they’ve missed a pizza on all three of my last online orders. Two times it was on the slips and they weren’t paying attention and the third time it didn’t pop up on the ticket or something. Just doubled check before you leave but they’re always right on time and the food is delicious. Inside is cute too for dining in“

“Pretty nice restaurant off the start, looking from the exterior it does not look like it is popular, but once we got inside, the place was absolutely packed. I am pretty sure they would get more customers but the place is super small, only 15 booths. When we entered the restaurant it didn't really take us a long time to be seated, about 2 minutes. It did take a very long time to be served just to get our drinks though, probably like 10 minutes just to be greeted, but I am not impatient, so I did not really care about that, knowing that they have only 2 servers working it since it is a pretty small restaurant. Once the waitress came, she apologized for the wait, which was very nice of her. She was also extremely nice when serving us, very polite lady. I ordered a number 26, General Tso Chicken with fried rice and crab Rangoons, with water, my fellows got some tea, due to yelp saying that the tea was very good. We also got a side order of crab Rangoons as well. The drinks did come relatively fast, and the side order did come fast as well. The crab Rangoons were pretty good, but not better than other Chinese restaurants I have been to. Very sweet, good crunch, and very hot, which I like. They also came with duck sauce, which was nice. The entrees came very fast as well, they also gave us some broccoli as well. The chicken was very crispy, very wonderful soft fried rice, and very crispy crab Rangoons. Very great service, very great food, and a very good space. This place seems to be a 4 star! I strongly recommend!“

“I've never had a bad meal from Gene's! Brought my dad here for the first time while I was visiting and he loved it. Only took us five minutes to get our food. When we first got there, we were the only ones and by the time we left people were waiting. It's a typical casual restaurant with average noise, but you don't go there for the atmosphere.“
