“We found the back eddy by chance.... And we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, the service impeccable. We ordered the chowder followed by two of the specials of the day and our toddler enjoyed chicken from the adults main menu. All the food was flavoursome and fresh, my son's chicken dish was moist and tender. Our server Carmen was so accommodating and very friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and booster seats available as well as nappy / diaper changing facilities.“

“We came up from NH to go to battleship cove and stayed in westport at the Hampton Inn. We looked for restaurants to have a late lunch/ early dinner and kozy nook came up, we're so glad it did. It's comfort food haven. We got the cheese steak sub (steak sliced thin with onions and mushrooms) and the tuna melt filled with a generous amount of tuna, tomato and cheese with fries on the side for both meals. Absolutely delicious.“

“The Westporter is a cozy little spot in the heart of Westport. With it being winter time, the ambiance is set with a fireplace and soft lighting. Danielle was an amazing bartender and absolutely on point at all times. I did not get a chance to try any food this time, but having attended their catering events in the past, I would imagine that their restaurant food would be just as outstanding as I remember their catering menu to be.“

“We went in on a Thursday for their prime rib special and were pleasantly impressed. The waiter seated us in a booth as requested. The fire was going on this cold night and the atmosphere was cozy. Started off with the pulled pork nachos (yum) and ordered the Cape Cod Rueben and the prime rib. Our waiter was very prompt and friendly and made sure everything was timed perfectly. Service is always great at Galley Grille. Prime rib was cooked just as I like it. Also recently joined the Lafrance Hospitality rewards program and it looks to be a great motivator to try all of their other locations. We will definitely be back!“
