“This is a AWESOME place. Friends took me there for my birthday. Food was delicious. Ambiance was cozy and friendly. Service was outstanding. I admired a T shirt advertising the restaurant at the end of the night-- and guess what-- they gave it to me as a birthday present. Thanks to everyone there that night for a wonderful dinner.“

“My absolute favorite to-go lunch spot in the Falmouth and Mashpee area. Their loaded pork quesadilla, le puy bowl, Indian bowl, Italian bowl and Mac and cheese (with veggies instead of ham) are our favorite dishes.Vegetarian options: I believe a lot of dishes can be vegetarian.“

“We’ve been looking for an affordable restaurant with good service and great food. Unfortunately, we’ve had many disappointments within the last 6 months…..BUT that ended tonight when we dined at the Conference Table. Doug, our waiter, was absolutely the best! He was attentive and friendly and met all of our needs with a smile. Our meals were very good…..sirloin tips and the most delicious scrod I’ve had. Also, the cocktails were excellent! We will definitely make the CT one of favorites! FYI I only gave 4 stars for the food because the mashed potatoes weren’t hot enough(but still edible)Dietary restrictions: I try to eat low salt and many restaurants over salt food, but I found the salt content just right!“

“Probably the best restaurant in Falmouth. The food is top notch and always fresh. They have two private dining rooms for parties and events, one of which has a fireplace. Great formal(ish) dining option, also with a cozy bar area that also offers live music on weekends. The staff is friendly and professional, and there hasn’t been a dish that I’ve tried there that was incredible. Portions are huge and filling, with more than enough to take home for a whole other meal. Trust me this place is incredible, and you will not be disappointed!“

“Did a take out order and it was so good! Hot and sour soup and chicken lo mein. Portions are huge! Really delicious with lots of flavor. Hot and fresh and was ready when I walked in. Pleasant staff as well. When we're back in the area, we'll definitely come back here!“

“It was busy! But no complaints, the staff was great running around making sure you had what you needed. Got the spicy margarita, which was very good!! The salsa that comes with chips might be the best I’ve had at a restaurant. It had some spicy touch to it and very good. Got the pulled beef in my enchilada and it was outstanding! Definitely stop in“

“It's been a while since I have been to Mary Ellen's, but the one thing that stands out to me every time I went here was the breakfast sandwich with linguica on it. It's not your traditional breakfast sausage, but the flavor just makes me melt each time I take a bit. Don't judge me. I have also enjoyed their omelettes, their freshly made pancakes, handout grilled home fries and their Portuguese grilled muffin (some of us Mainers call it an English muffin) and blueberry muffins. Everything is scratch made here and you would need several days to enjoy everything they have to offer. Check them out if you are in the area!“

“My husband & I recently had lunch here. We weren't expecting much but we were pleasantly surprised. I had the garden salad with steak tips. The salad was huge and very fresh. Steak tips were delicious. My husband enjoyed the Asian salad -- also huge and fresh. We both had the toasted sesame dressing which was just meh. For dessert we splurged on a piece of warm blueberry pie (recommended by the waitress) with vanilla ice cream. The pie was amazing -- lots of lemon to counteract the sweetness and interesting spices. It took a while for our food to appear, but the place was FULL so it wasn't surprising. Service was very friendly. The staff is on a first-name basis with the regulars. Prices were very reasonable. This place is not an OMG restaurant, but it's very good. We'll be back.“

“Located in the heart of town, this quaint little diner serves up a breakfast that feels like a warm hug on a plate. I ordered the classic breakfast plate: fluffy pancakes, savory sausage links, perfectly cooked eggs, and a generous helping of real home fries. From the first bite, I knew I was in for a treat. The pancakes were light and airy, drizzled with maple syrup. The sausage was juicy and bursting with flavor, while the eggs were cooked to golden perfection – not too runny, not too firm. The home fries were real! Not those stringy thingies but REAL potatoes! Yum. Now I wish I had gotten the corned beef hash. I would definitely return.“

“Overall this was a fun place to grab a late lunch. Dive bar with a scuba-theme.Staff/service was average though it was a bit awkward when we first walked in. We were not sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves or wait. We wandered into the game room then back to the bar side before being seated.Facility- One room is a small dive bar with bar seating and tables. The adjoining room is a game room with pool tables and some games. The restrooms are located between the rooms. What we got:STUFFED QUAHOG $8 - it was Tasty(Chopped clam, linguica, ritz cracker with drawn butter and lemon wedge) I made mine spicy. Spicy was still very mildLOBSTER BISQUE$13/cup- left something to be desiredCRUNCHY COD FISH AND CHIPS $22-(Deep fried cod fillet battered in cornflakes and almonds, served french fries and coleslaw.) This was really good the fries were very tasty! The fish has a super crunch that we found very appealing.Drinks- Quahog Republic Golden Ale- very good.Parking is available on site“

“Consistently quicker than expected with delivery. with friendly phone people, and drivers. I stopped ordering at other places just because these guys do it right. The food is so good and it’s always hot when it gets here, like it’s just been cooked. Love this place! Best burgers around for sure.“

“Food is excellent, pricey but good. Oysters are the best oysters in the NE. Really inventive traditional dishes from Salads to entrees. It’s tight seating though. We had a loud group near us and as the dinner progressed with more drinks profanity and their voices carried throughout the room. Not the restaurants fault but just something to keep in mind.“

“(Last visited 5/4/2022.) While vacationing in Cape Cod with my wife we stumbled upon Estia at the end of downtown Falmouth so we had to check it out. Here's how it went!Atmosphere/Appearance: The outside of this place looks pretty legit and pretty chill. It's a Greek restaurant so there's lots of use of white painted bricks, a gorgeous outdoor section and lots of big glass windows. Inside though... this place really opens up! The ceiling is tall, the space is wide open and there are so many sections. It's really quite a large restaurant with a fish tank in the middle, several dining sections, a stone oven and a beautiful rustic/modern interior.Service: I can't remember who took care of us, but she was the bartender at the time. She was sweet, patient, funny, had great recommendations and made sure that we had a great time.Food: The complimentary bread/oil was an excellent touch and it harps back to Europe's "no-butter" approach to bread. However, I'm American, so I would've liked some butter or seasoned oil. Lol. For an appetizer I went with the traditional Greek salad. It consists of mixed greens, super creamy feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, olives and sprinkled with a delicious creamy dressing. It was light, the mixed greens were crispy and like I've already mentioned, delicious. For my entree I went with the lamb loin chops! This consists of 2 8 oz. pan-seared loin lamp chops drizzled with a Mavrodaphne demi-glaze and for my side I went with the mizithra mashed potatoes. Think of them as Greek mashed potatoes, it's hard to explain. These were delicious. There was a bone in each of the chops that you have to eat around, but it was totally worth it.Value: This place isn't bad at all. It's definitely a 3 out of 4 $$$ so that means to bring your wallet, but you won't leave wondering if you didn't get your money's worth. In conclusion, I loved this place and would certainly come back here! I would explore other parts of the menu to see what kind of range the chef has! ;-)“

“A very good place to eat in Falmouth. For years it had been the go to restaurant in West Falmouth. I give it 4s rather than 5s on food and atmosphere. While the food is good the selection is not very deep and the prices are on the high end. The atmosphere has always been cozy but the noise level can inhibit conversation, particilarly on the often busy summer evenings.“

I found the service to be prompt and friendly. The place was bright, clean and spacious. The food was as expected cuisine with fresh ingredients. Came out fast too. With good prices.I’d say this establishment is equally suited to singles, families, couples and seniors alike.I didn’t have to ask about food allergies, but with things like gluten and dairy, you’ll do fine here. Nuts, probably not. This was a good visit.“

“Went for an early dinner after someone apparently made a large to-go order. As a result, they were low or out of a lot (no clams, clam chowder, sweet potato fries, etc. ). Was able to try fried lobster - personally, a waste of sweet lobster. But at least I can say I tried it! It was chilly out, otherwise we would’ve sat outside and enjoyed the ocean view.“

“Usually have a great meal and service. Have been about 30 times and only once the service was lacking. My order was taken wrong and it took 25 minutes for us to receive our change after paying. No complaints other than last night may have been an off night for one of the wait staff. We will return“

“Had a great time at this cafe/restaurant today. The philly cheesesteak was delicious, the lady at the reception (Tara) was very friendly and I had a nice chat with her about the local attractions and customs. The view from the deck at the rear of the building was fantastic too.“

“Ate there 4/13 with a 11 member family gathering. I have Celiac disease. Informed the manager and server. We privately reviewed the best options for my meal, and I was able to enjoy the party without the ignominy of everyone hearing my food restrictions.I chose the special salad and the shrimp and scallop piccatta with gluten free pasta. So delicious! Ample portions and beautiful presentation. My waiter Skylar was so kind and attentive, I appreciated that so much.“

“Each year, I visit Falmouth during my vacation, and I never miss an opportunity to stop by the Black Dog. This delightful establishment consistently impresses me with its freshly prepared, delicious cuisine and amiable staff. Their lobster rolls are exceptional, always fresh, and one of the most delicious I've ever had. I was impressed by the delightful cranberry and orange muffins on the new menu.I look forward to seeing what else they have in store next year. I extend my warmest wishes to the Black Dog and hope they continue enjoying the success and prosperity they so richly deserve. Until next year!“

“A local icon! Best bagels in Falmouth hands down! I'm used to NYC bagels and while these are not close, they're the closest version in the area. Tasty and fresh, good variety of flavors and toppings -- especially yummy toasted. Other breakfast items such as egg sandwiches are also on the menu. (Vegan cream cheese would be a dream...) The staff is great, especially the summer help, who get it all done with cheer! More stars for the spacious yet cozy seating, extensive hot coffee bar, local crafts for sale, and public restrooms.“

“Celtics playoff game - went to 99 and they can’t play the sound. Left there pretty quick and came over to DJs. The experience from walking thru the door to Ashley H on service was excellent. The meatloaf was very good. Only here for timeshare week or would be eating it every Saturday night!! Now if the Celtics can just beat the Cavs the night will be a great success. Thank you all - Great job“

“Osteria La Civetta is one of our favorite restaurants! It's a cozy, intimate and romantic atmosphere, which we love. The lights are dim and the decor is unique. The tables aren't too close together so we felt like we could have a private conversation. They have a nice selection of Italian wines. I selected the Primitivo, which was pretty good. The menu is small, but still includes many great options. I had the tortelloni with butternut sage sauce. It was great! The pasta is all made fresh in-house. I also had the affogato for dessert and it was delicious. I highly recommend! We can't wait to go back!“
